Why the heck did they nerf the ability to color chassis's? I was working on an order for an R3 chassis, specificly named with specific color for a customer and found out that I can no longer color droid chassis. The customer did not want the standard color so I could not complete the order.
Yeah, that is a pain, isn't it? I've just been having the customer tame their droids, then consent me so I can customize it via a kit. If they were going to remove the colorization from the assembly process (even if it is only temporary) you'd think that they would have opened the customization kit to use by anyone to compensate.

I was making a R2 adv for a customer when i get done and find out it will not except a general socket cluster.
ummm??? **edit** it is a R2 droid i understand we can make them combat droids now but dont take away the non- combat roles.
I also am displeased with the lack of customizing a chassis. personally we should be able to set the color when the droid is first made if the owner chooses to change it let them use a customization kit.

For the general socket cluster thing, just use a combat cluster and put the utility modules in it and you shouldn't have a problem. TK explained whats up with the customization thing, he's got a thread around here somewhere with the info.

I get strange results when I experiment on the droid repair module, and only on the droid repair module. I use resources that enable the max experimented effectiveness to be in the 90+% range, and this is reflected correctly in the experimentation dialog box, but when I experiment on it, no matter how successful I am the effectiveness percentage is never greater than 50% (i tried dozens of them and had a great many "amazing" successes but still it was never more than half the maximum possible percentage).
/bump
Confirmed. Droid Repair Module is experimenting funny.
infoon Droid Repair Kit D's... assume it may relate to all. AndI can comparemed/pet StimPacks ashave crafted thembefore.
1) bug...when making health schematics, both the healing and number of charges is seen. When making Repair Kits, can only see the energy, not the number of charges. So cannot judge when using expermention what to use it on. Need charges listed in crafting and in schematic as they are in Stim and PetStim schematics. Currently only way todiscover chargesis to create a crate in a factory.
2) unknown...when applying D's that have 1404 energy, see approx700 going to health bar (which is usually the only one low enough not to top out). So are Repair Kits supposed to divide half between Health and Action? Health/Pet Stims give the amountlisted to each HAM bar, undivided.
a note for other DE's: when creating Med or Pet Stimpacks, you can use either the Advanced or non-Advanced subcomponents in any slot... but none of the professions tell you this. its general knowledge. Some of the Advanced subassy will be worth the extra components (like the Adv Diag Circuit) and give you x2 or x3 the results, othersmay notoffer that much improvement for the extra minerals...

Dunno if someone has post this bug:
I have added a module cluster with a med mod 6, food/chem craft and a lvl 6 item storage in a advanced surgical droid. After creating the deed everything is alright, but after calling the droid the item storage is not accessible. After storing the droid in the pad and looking in the datapad there stands no longer item storage ability, only the medical ability. The same cluster works in a BLL wondering if docs will enjoy it.
This bug is a shame because I have sold many of them and its a nice thing in my sortiment.
Someone else has seen this bug? I hope they will fix it soon.
surgicals haven't been able to use storage since they were changed to converse style droids... its been on the bug list for a while now, no ETF (estimated time to fix).

I'm having trouble with commanding my droids. What follows applies to both pre-patch and post patch droids:
I'm working on unarmed combat, so I'm soloing small creatures, and I keep my droid near by for backup. So I command him to "stay". After a while he will drift over to me. Nothing attacked him, nothing bothered him, he just "forgets" that he is in "stay" mode. Also I've seen once or twice its forgotten the attack command. Its not low power or anything like that.
