Perhaps you'll want to understand your 'craft' first before trying to flame it. /shrug

I've just built an R2 unit, with as many level 6 storage units stuffed into it's poor little chassis as it could take. And it still only takes 10 items. Eh? This aint right. All that extra effort and expense and raw materials, for absolutly no advantage. Bah. Waste of Time.

The max. storage (for ANY droid), regardless of the number of Item Storage modules you use, is 10. This isn't anything new...

Respectfully,
Indeed..there is a lot of this type of thing around these days..people not not really beingDE's at all. Guess its just a learning curve eh ? ![]()
Thanks for the reply.
Iwasn't flaming anyone or anything and apologise if anyone got the wrong end of the stick. However, I think the point still stands:
Here it is:
A level 3 droid storage unit requires:
- 10 units of steel
- 6 units of low grade ore
- 6 units of inert gas
- 9 units of non ferrous metal.
Fine. 2 of these in an advanced mouse droid gives the ability to store 10 items.
A level 6 droid storage unit requires:
- 20 Units of Neutronium Steel
- 12 Units of Lidium Extrusive Ore
- 8 Units of Inert Gas
- 20 Units of Metal
- 1 Electronics GP Module
- 3 Electronics memory modules from a factory crate
Now, 2 of these bad boys also gives the ability to store 10 items.
I realise that the cap is 10 items per droid. I just don't think it's right that all these different storage module schematics exist if it makes no difference to the DE which he crafts. If there is to be a cap at 10 Items, then the droid engineer shouldn't have a wide variety of schematics to choose from.
When I'd put that much in the way of resources into a storage droid, I'd expect it to at least be as good as a travel pack! Is that unreasonable?
Again, sorry if my previous post offended at all, I am am fairly new to DE, but am learning all the time!
Cheers,
Xen

If you experiment them to the Max if not you have to use 2 level four

1 of these give you the ability to store 10 items, so while you put in 1, 2, 3, or 10 they all are equal to 10 Items. You are effectively wasting your resources (namely that Lidium)

They are as good as a travel pack think about it, you can have 5 droids in your datapad. Which at 10 items per droid equal 50 Items. Plus the real kicker of it, they do not suffer from decay when you clone.

Which is why we all try to inform the newer DEs, but excuse us we have seen quite a few of these lately. And we get blamed for ignorance constanly. You may or may not know but many customers complain that you ripped them off when they do not know how to work their droid. So we are constanly learning just ask TheRealTK if he found out how much of a bonus does a 80 Rated Creature Harvestor droid get.

You can use Any Module in the Combat Cluster.
Whereas you can only use NON-Combat modules in the Normal Cluster.
So technically this is not a bug.

this is true. and I discovered that. however the point I was trying to make is it seems you can only load combat clusters in the R2 and R3 series of droids. I never got the General clusters to work with those droids. I am wondering then if that is a bug?
Not only do I want to continue it...but I want it to always be called "Gorantoth's Centralized Droid Issues" in your honor.

Ok folks, after a year of maintaining this thread, I've had enough. So effective immediately, I am no longer updating this thread. I'll let you folks decide whether or not to continue it.
You've given an great amount of 'love' to the DEs, G....no one has worked to stay on top of things in quite the same way.
Your list has always been the sounding board and barometer that many DEs point to for any/all issues DE.
My hat will be eternally off to you, good sir. You are a pillar of the DE community...and that will never be disputed. You're a true DE hero, my friend.
You'll be sorely, sorely missed around here and I seriously hope that you'll continue to be about.

Gorantoth,
Your devotion has helped out thousands of Droid Engineers, Droid owners, and3 very greatful DE Correspondents. As a past Correspondent, I must tell you that your work has helped make the position quite a bit easier. Your presence will be truely missed.
