Thread: Centralized Droid Issues

Not sure if this was reported already, but...
BUG:
When crafting Droid Detonation Modules... if you put them into a droid 1 at a time, and not in a socket cluster, they seem to be more effective than if you put them into a socket cluster.
Just as an example... I made an MSE droid, Advanced model with 2 detonation mods. The detonation rating came to 37. Then I made an R3 droid, Advanced model, and installed 5 detonation mods total. The rating came out to 44. Something isn't right there. It seems to lose a considerable amount of effectiveness if you put it into a cluster, and it shouldn't.
This actually seems to be an inherent bonus in the MSE itself. All other droids get the straight up rating, MSE's get an additional 10 per module.

Nope this is not a bug
MSE droids get a +10 bonus for each detonation module installed so put an 8 in a standard MSE and you get rating 18, or 36 for two level 8 detonation modules placed in an Adv MSE. Any extra 1 to the rating is because det modules carry unseen decimals which are added in in the combines.
R3 does not get the +10 bonus, but then nor does any other droid.
Methinks thats how it is.
Sorry to inform you, but this is "working as intended" in Dev Speak. In other words you will never be able to store more than 10 Items on you droid. The hard cap is 10 items, only the new modules are more effective to be stacked. Which actually brings up a thought....

Pardon my intrusion. I have been trying to find out the answer to a question.
When the droid publish was announced, I could have sworn I saw that storage modules would be stackable, thus making droids quite useful for those of us crafters who travel or need to have specialized resources at hand.
SO, as soon as the publish went live I excitedly contacted my local DE and ordered 3 droids, 2 with only storage and 1 with barker and crafting station modules.
However, it appears that only 1 storage module works in each droid
Is this as intended? Did I perhaps mis-read the publish info I saw posted?
Thank you for your time. I understand the heartache you all are having, we tailors have much to grumble about as well. Sad to see that soe consistently pushed the devs for new content in their games, and neglects to fix or perfect the existing stuff.
Maintenance Module Bug
I tried makeing bot level 2 and level 3 maintenance modules and puting then in droids. I even stacked the level 2's to see what would happen. I NEVER used a socket cluster of any kind. Non of my expiraments worked. So the maintenance modules seem to be busted period.
Kaput
Before I asked I did go through the Centralized Droid Issues but didn't see anything.
Well really it didn't click when I read "Converse style droids cannot be named."
I would suggest that you maybe add to that line the list of converse type droids to make things a bit clearer.

Perhaps you'll want to understand your 'craft' first before trying to flame it. /shrug

I've just built an R2 unit, with as many level 6 storage units stuffed into it's poor little chassis as it could take. And it still only takes 10 items. Eh? This aint right. All that extra effort and expense and raw materials, for absolutly no advantage. Bah. Waste of Time.
Xenopus
The max. storage (for ANY droid), regardless of the number of Item Storage modules you use, is 10. This isn't anything new...
