Whatever, I've been a master doctor. I know how it goes. And I don't need an "education" about a free market economy. And you've proved my point, in a free market economy business and services are free to be greedy. Whatever, and us non-millionare doctors are free to complain about it.

Its non of my business what Combat people do with my buffs.
Just as its non of their Business what i Charge for buffs to give them.

And this is the problem with a completely player-run economy. Players have freedom to do what ever they want. Even if that screws over other players.
Buffs should be removed period. I shouldn't have to spend 20K just to go out and PvP. Not everyone wants buffs so they can run Janta missions endlessly.
Doctors could charge 100K and the rest of up would have to bare down and take it.....right up the ***.

Docs...charge whatever you think you can get...5k, 10k, 50k...SOMEONE will pay what you ask...its not greed..ITS BUSINESS. Do you try to tell McDonalds what they can charge you for a burger? I dont think so. So why you should anyone be able to tell you what to charge? I am now a smuggler, and there is a new movement(its slow but it is rolling) for us to start charging 10k for a slice. YOU GO DOC, charge as much as you can get.

Well theres a simple solution to this, if your a doc who likes buff lines charge the standard prices or whatever you want, youll either get people or you wont.
Docs that dont like buff line, keep your title on and if you get one of the usual "You buffing" tells say yes 50k if they abuse you then make use of the wonderful add/ignore list. Since they are the ones seeking a service its them who will have to pay for it. If your running a buff line its different but if your just going about your business why shouldnt people pay a bit more to get a personal service. Think of it as going private.
I enjoy being a doc i heal, rez and cure people for free when im out and about but i hate buffing except for myself or friends. If people want my services they will pay for it but i will be wearing my Docs title and will charge 50k a buff.

If you tell me you charge over 15K for a buff beacuse buffing bores you then I'll agree with you. Your time is money, so is mine. That's why I wont hunt for Animal Organics for less than 50-100 CPU depending on spawn, it gets borring and must be worth my time to do it.
Please dont tell me your buff is "x "amount because I can make "y" amount doing Janta missions while buffed. To me that's like an Architect saying a Heavy is 5 million beacuse you can make 100 million with it over a year (since they never decay) ora weaponsmith charging 3 million for a Dx2 since I use it to killLairs thus completeting the missions we make money from.
Even if you pay above market prices for resources your still making 100% profit, don't blame resources for your higher prices thats complete bs. If you cant turn a profit on buffs @ 15K a setthen you shouldnt be in the buffing business.
Personaly I would pay up to 50K for a buff on Dant just to get it quick. But if your charging 50K sure enuff someone will be right next to you soon charging 40K.

there aint much money in doc. I tried to buff the public and i made some cash to what? Buy more buff packs. I havent even thought about making my own buffs. So what i do is buy them. the last set i bought the cost alone was 11.5k each buff but they are pretty uber buffs. So what i do is buff myself and guildies and we do janta missions. at master fencer it takes me 90 secs to do 1 mission for a payout of 32k. add that up over 3.5 hours of buff time and you will see. so to ssome it up 90 secs to do a mission 60 secs to buff who really is making all the money here. I Know cause i do both.

You fly 2k kill 8 janta's and destroy the lair in 90 secconds? show me once cause thats bull
Btw takes like 10 mins to get solo group and then themission and about 15mins to get/get to the lairs and killthem.
Then 5mins to get back to town, but still you gotta buy some other things then buffs: food weapon armor, armor suits easily go over 300k a pop
Food tends to cost some money too and weapon is not much since usually use grinding weapons.
So doing missions doesn't really make HUGE profits unless you plan everything out straight and really get grinding.
damn promised myself not to respond to this threat anymore >.<

Phew, hot in here.
(reaches for flame suppression blanket)
But seriously, as a fledgling doc i dont plan on charging more than 10-12k depending on how much it cost me to make/buy the buffs. I mostly made a doc to buff my guild and rez etc. Buffing for money is a just something i see as a replacement for making some moneywhen i drop scout for master and can no longer harvest the meat/hide which hasgotten me money in the past.50k"express lane" buffers arevery unfair to those whoalready paid and arein a long line by ignoring them for someone impatient and rich. I'd ratherfight unbuffedthan use a buffer that does that.
Bottom line, if you dont like greedy docs dont use them. I avoid anyone with "express lane" charges simply because i dont want them getting any of my money whether it be10k or 50k.

Hi every1,, docs bein greedy,, been accused of that many times , as being the sole reason tempest buffs have been raised(or so iam told) Now as for being greedy ,i find these people except for the 50k complainers to be unknowledgable about docs, Now haveing been on both sides of the hunter ranger doc, i do know it takes a huge amount of time to gather avian meat, running mission after mission spending 3 hours, to only come up with 2k resources, mebbe iam doing something wrong dunno, but i do know it takes a huge amount of time to gather,so i can now understand why it costs me so much to buy some avian, People must feel the price they charge is good enuff for the time they spend gathering, this goes for any proffession not just doc. I to feel 50k is way to much, but if u dont like the price as i allways say,see that line over there with that doc buffing for 2100 instead fo 2852 for 10k feel free to use him. I rarely put up with bitchy people, u dont like the service or the price, get the F*** out of my line then, and go pester someone else, Docs sit in coro or wherever they sit, to make money, some do itto help people, wich is incredibly boring,Oh yes i spend all my time buffing, yes thats why i pay 20 bux a month for,, to buff a bunch of babies. Put up the cash, or get out of my line and **edit**. thats about all i can say to the greed of docs.. lol

Floogy ,i ran a express line 15k for 2593, Never had aproblem with other docs, cuss the people who didnt like my prices i sent to the next doctor or i advertised there buff prices, The people who pay 50k are def in a hurry, and should be made to pay the extrodinary fee, thats what u get for being impatient. People likeu who complain, about it,,, did u ever think tomebbe become a doc, sit next to him and buff for free.. I have had many threats like that, and to this day no one has ever come through. Oh ill sit next to you and buff for free so no one comes to you, i just laff and say ill train you,,, No matter what u do, there will allways be people who are in a hurry and need a quick buff , iam 100% behind express lines, whenu gotta go u gotta go..., i do not approve of line jumpers tho, people who proposition docs with more money so they can head up to the front, thats a big no no to me, never have i ever let someone come to the front of my line for more cash, wait your turn like every1 else, Docs who practice this , give the rest of us docs a bad name. either be an express line or buff the normal,.doing both will only piss off your customers,,, no one likes to get snaked out of line for a few grand more.

1 mission from start to finish takes me 90 secs trust me. you try to buff the public with stupid tells and hate tells and all kinds of crap or do jantas. i am rich and believe me it didnt come from buffing the public for a meezly 10k a pop. i can make about a million creds on one 3.5 hour buff. do the damn math.

My friend is TKM / Master Chef and can make 1M in 1.5 hrs on solo groups. I'm not so good at it it as a Master Fencer / Master Doctor, but easily 750k in the same period of time.
The ranged guys I'm sure have a lot more trouble, but pets help a lot.
Thusly I never charge for buffs as a function of how much I *think* a player is going to make.. such comparisons are empty (i.e. if they go PvP they'll make nothing). It's all a function of my convenience.
