Thread: THE ULTIMATE BUFFING MACRO!!!!
The devs have made it clear they have no intentions of removing afk play, they've even stated that it provides value to thier game. When waging a holy war, it's imperitive to be sure you're on gods side, if god comes out and says he's backing the other guys, well it's seriously time to consider switching sides.
I don't do anything half-assed.
As far as the price goes, it was actually given to a trusted friend, who offered to pay me the price in payments, since it was never about the money, and all about the respect for the code, the money became a non-issue.

so at a guess, we need to know our way round /log and /mailsave commands? because in there somewhere a log of how much was tipped, you just need to edit the log to suit your needs...ie return cash or buffing.question is ifthe macro system can use logic commands...oram i miles off course? can't see for the life of me how to add the number of people in a que.this is killing me not knowing

are there actually more elaborate commands available we don't know about or is it just a very cleaver use of log files and existing // type commands?
I'll give you clues on how I discovered how to do it. I spent a year or so observing the general behavior of the SWG macro and alias system as I experimented on increasingly more complex macros and alias systems, learning how the client reacted under certain conditions. Using thatknowledge and a print out of every / command and /ui action command (printed out from these forums) I poured over each command to see ways the commands could possibly be used in relation to UI behavior. Nothing was dismissed as being impossible until proven otherwise, no command was ignored as being useless until every avenue of use had been explored. Most CS majors and such can't see beyond the lack of if/then/else statements or string comparitors, they think things such as these are necessary for such a system to work. When most people think "outside the box" they tend to try to stay as close to the box as possible, because they feel safer there. To understand what I did you pretty much have to forget/ignore anything and everything you know about any other programming language, and start over from scratch. The SWG macro system has amazing functionality, unfortunately it's a quite unorthodox path to it., the few I've told had a hard time understanding it as it was spelled out for them. The only other person in SWG that Iknowevencapable of reproducing this is probably Tiaga, and even he admitted that the system I use to determine tip amounts is, at best, really hard to get your brain around.

well thank you. this is beginning to be one of the most amazing part of this game, given the number of unfortunate errors in coding and bugs appearing its so nice to find something with such alot of scope. congrats for finding it. wish me luck and i'll see what i can find too![]()
Yeah, it's kinda sad to say but writing this macro has been the most fun thing I've done in this game in over a year, maybe year and a half.

This intrigued me, so I set out figuring some of the command potential out. There are some commands (probably unrelated) that I couldn't find syntax for:
/nebula
/info

Anyone else interested in working together to complete Eaca's challenge?
As for /Innate.. i think thats a Zabrak species ability
/info i'm not sure about
and /nebula i'm pretty sure has something to do with nebula Detail in space.
There is also a skill called nebula blast, which is pretty useless, but i think the command for that is /Nblast.
I would check this stuff out but i've not been in game in like 2 weeks. Bored of it.
Since I was bored, I decided to go and make a little List----
The commands I personnaly know what they do i have highlighted in Red- Those which i Have no clue what they are for are in black.
This doesn't mean that the commands in red aren't used, Just that I highly doubt they would be.
