I'm going to say positive, since it brings the "healer" playstyle back into the game in a serious way.
The problem I have with the CU as it relates to doctor/CMs is that it appears like they could have done even better. So instead of a home run, they've hit an infield single.
Of course after I actually get to use the new system, my opinion may change.

Positive. Healing will matter after the CU more then it does now.

Negative- I think that there are no longer buffs is a good thing, but IHATE the idea that CM's and Docs no longer craft their own medicine.

I like the changes. Something needs to be done about having to spend 20 minutes prepping before you can do any combat. It sucks that it comes at the cost of the doctors but it needed to be done.

I suspect you'll lose that time attempting to form groups for the tougher missions however...

Especially on Dead Servers like Wanderhome, but he changes are good thign s need to change. Everytime there is change there are goign to be people , who welcome it and people who hate it, its SOD's Law. The game needs to change and I feel , I hope its on the right track.
SOD's Law:
# f anything can go wrong, it will
# If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong
# If anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway
# If you perceive that there are four possible ways in which something can go wrong, and circumvent these, then a fifth way, unprepared for, will promptly develop
# Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse
# If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something

*thumbs down* I like crafting AND healing like we always have. If I wanted to run around babysitting crybabies as a medic in combat, I would have picked up... wait... "Medic".... "Combat"... I dunno

Neg, I like being a healer but i also like being a CRAFTER at times without having to buy another alt... lol, from the sounds of it is we arnt going to have a billion diff things to craft anymore and to sell, i also like the challenge of trying to beat other doctors buffs/stims/cures/etc on everything, i spend a lot of money in this game on a 12 point suit for doctor and a 12 point cm suit and i spent a ton of money on resources, i want to keep having an edge

I will be dropping Doc with the CU. No point when a Medic can do the same thing as a Doctor now.
