Well if people knew to look at the map for doctor registered places, then that would solve that.

Yeha, thats why were working on this thread.
And if dotors just retreated to the medical centers, it would FORCE people to use them, I know it would be hard to do, but I have already started directing my /tells to the nearest medical center if we have to meet half way for buffs for example. (then I buff out in front of it so the medical center doesn't trump my droids 110, ![]()
But at least thats a step in the right direction in the meantime IMHO
Lol.. at +200 .. that would make the buff go from 2000 points to 4000 points... But you are right.. there has to be a point to have a player contribute lot space to have a medical center in a player city and actually spend the time to get to the med center vs pulling out droid. At a rating of 120 ... its only a +9% overall increase from a 110 med module droid.

Drop droids down to 100 and leave hospitals at 100. HOWEVER if a droid is used in a medical center give the droid it's current 110 medical rating.
This will encourage player interaction. If a medical center gives you a rating of 110 then why would anyone buy a droid? DE's would lose business and I don't think they'd take too kindly to that.
Besides since a droid is there to help it should enahnce your natural abilities as a doc. Remember it was a droid who performed the surgery on Luke's hand in episode 5 and it was a droid that helped to revive him after he spent the night outside in the freezing cold on Hoth.

Nah, droids are still useful due to the need to do things in the field. However, droids will not be useful even in the field (or at least less useful) due to the ability to drop a camp and thus be able to heal / enhance. Maybe make them 105, though I think things work on a scale of 10, so that might not work either.
Don't even mention touching the droids medical rating, I'm telling you, DE's are the most defensive profession since they have been broke sooo long.
We can accomplish all our goals WITHOUT touching a single droid stat.
Just have droids give a bonus inside the medical centers. PERIOD.
Med centers 110
Droids 110
Registered doctor in facility = 115
Non registered doctor or medic + droid = 115
Registered Doc + droid =120
Easy
So simply put, registering in medical centergives a +5 bonus
Droid in med center gives +5
For the total of 120
AND you can THEN get the medical player city specialization bonus.
