Thread: Grant Player Hospitals 120 Medical Rating Capability

Actually, let's scrap that, a lvl 6 module should yield a 105 medical rating, so that a 2-1B with a lvl 6 module still comes out to 110, but in a hospital would give you the 115 total, giving you better buffs, faster.

How's that ?

It is simpler just to make sure registration bonus is +20. and not have anything stack as is the behavior today. That is easier fo rthem to impliment and the devs also know there is a limit to what we want

This making droid 110 (with lvl 6 module),

Hospital 120

Well it does lessen our abilities outside the med center to drop it to 100. So yes we are nerfing ourselves.

Remember since there will be only CL10 droids the droid invasion will be meaningess to DE's also. Their top selling item is the droid with the med 110 module.

If that module has no benefit they will lose a lot of business also.

Now keeping that doesentice the doctor to buy one and in places where there is a med center is available having the /register do 120 entices them to use that also.

Well the droid with a module would need to be callable and usable in certain areas of dungeons - I can call my droid in the geonosian caves, but it still won't let me buff people.

If a droid is still usable like this it will still be invaluable.

... and in case you didn't notice, the 2-1B droid with a med module (105+5 bonus) still came out with 110 med rating so it would be the same as it was before, but the droid would also boost the hospital's rating by a little so as to be useful in both situations.

I can't see us getting an outright 120 rating on med facilities without paying for it somewhere else.

Well at the VERY LEAST, they need to make a hospital, HTFB and Best Med Droid EQUAL, at least!

I hate being in a med center and sayng...lets go outside with my droid or else the building will trump the droids 110...

Am I crazy or is the hospital 100 atm? and registration is broken...?

Hospital is definitely less than a droid, with a droid I buff for 2420, with a hospital I buff for 2200 which indicates that the droid is definitely 110 and the hospital is 100, and that's even when I've registered.

Hospital is absolutely definitely less effective than a droid at the moment.

There was never a registration bonus to normal or player hospitals.

/registerwith location was added only to let other players know there was a doc (or entertainer) in the respective building (so as to know what shuttle tickets to buy, or if they had to switch towns at all) by way of the map menu.

The only /registerwithlocation bonus ever announced was the +25 for factional bases (in pub 3).. Which appears to be broken (or indeed may have never worked... hard to tell with the randomness at the time... I think BE clothes were broken then too) at this time.

This was reported working as of last week.

Very rare to see a city actually choose that specialization. I ahve heard of 2 off the top of my head (total on all servers).

playing devils advocate... if med centers get an additional +20... what other gear/stuff would you like to see that +20 come out of... food, BE clothing?

It is very easy to say "hey give use 20 more points" you already have +50.. how much more do you want? The droid and location bonus even counts more then food and clothes (because the percentage is applied after the other 2).

The devs can't keep adding bonus upon bonus forever...

and why can't they continue adding on bonuses? they take em away pretty damn fast. with this last patch, we lost over a k in buffs. sure they aren't random anymore and that was necessary, but to loose a whole k in buff? that's ridiculous. so when you start talking about devs giving us stuff, think again about what was lost..

angel.

Let's say you are buffing for 2 K now.. before you were buffing for 1 K - 3 K .. its a 50 / 50 GAMBLE on buffs.. like flipping a coin... I like the process.. its sort of like comparing it to getting $2.00 every time.. or gamble and get either $1.00 or $3.00 half the time...

BTW.. my old city was with Med Center Specialization.. it works in the math equation variable either as 1 (no Bonus) or 1.1 (Bonus)

So, it would be smart for me and the other 2 Master Docs in my city to buff out of our medical center in our city (with medical specialization)...

And become known as "the place to go" for buffs...

Because, from what I'm gathering...medical center w/ specialization= better than 110 droid out in the desert...

Buff 8 people, pay for the whole week of specialization...not bad...

(BTW, I'm the Mayor AND M Doc, so, this works out well for me, muahahahaha!)
