Little story:
I was at the entrance of the squill caves when I get a tell
Him: Are you buffing?! plz plz buff me!
Me: where are you?
Him: Im in Kraytia*, i just got back from fighting some Krayt Dragons and one killed me.
Me: You are over 8km away, you wouldnt get here before my Bivoli runs out (I had just buffed myself to enter the cave)
Him: Ok ill try and hurry
Him: Also, can you buff me for free?
Me: Just forget it...go find another doctor
Whats happening is people are using that search thing, and on planets like Tatooine with very few doctors, im one of the few that show up...

*= Kraytia is a city maybe 800m SW of Krayt Graveyard on Chilastra

"For some stupid reason, everytime I login, my title reverts to Master Doctor, though everyday for the past 2 months after I login I've changed it to no title or another title."
I’ve discovered that if me title is set to “no title” at logout it will revert back to the last title, other than “no title,” used. Sometimes I set it to “Rifleman” before logging out but then I start getting those annoying “are you hunting” tells as soon as I log in.

admittedly what I know about being a doctor is the crafting side. what I know about being nice applies to any profession. no need to bust on someone that inquires of your services. show some compassion man.

er...no I didn't. I said "sure!" and I went over there and used strafe 2 on em and watched them die and her thank me and we had a nice chuckle about how weak our crafting characters are as I have one too. I got a waypoint to her shop and made a friend.

Alright, next time I see a random guy with a Rifleman tag up, I'll note his name and wait til the next day. Then, when he's no where near me and possibly on a different planet entirely, I'll ask him if he can come help me with some aggro around my factories... and if he doesn't, I'll go to the Rifleman forums and b*tch about his not helping me. Or I'll find a Master Doctor that has a "Master Swordsman" badge and ask him if he can help me with my mission.
Quit trolling our forums, you obviously don't know what it is to be a Doctor.

HAHA! yea this happned to me just yesterday. I finally made it to 4/4/4/4 Doc and was looking for someone to teach so i coudl get the AP needed. I had one of the doc titles on too just in case someone looking for teach ing used the search funstion instead of seeing my spam.
I was mostly hangin out in Theed Med Center waiting for the grinders to need something, but decided to leave and check out Coronet. On the way form the med center to the starport (which is not very far), while I was still spamming my teaching macro, I was aksed by 3 people if I was buffing. I was clearly not buyffing! i obviously was looking to earn some AP. I got quickly frustrated, and by the 3rd person in under 5 minutes I dont think I was pleasent anymore.

in the very first post, the original author said that they "came up to him"
I do understand how frustrating it is. On occasion I have been in an out of the way place and used /search for a doc, I start off the conversation with offering him 50k or more and I would catch up with him so as to be the least amount of trouble. I just think that everyone shouldn't complain so much. but then I complain about people complaining so mabe I'll start with myself

Heh i just started an alt with scout and ranger for meat for meds.... I was finishing up master scout with the last of the camping branch. Went to the trainer but was short some exp....Still had my harvest droid out so i just sat down to craft a few quick camps. After a couple minuts i get a tell: "Are you buffing" and about 3 people lined up infront of me LOL....This is a totaly new char. No title at all and no badges.

when i get asked for buffs i usually respond... "head to coronet or theed to get buffed plz"
everyone knows where the lines are... justremindpeoplepolitely when they ask for a buff... most players who have never been a doc have no idea how much of a pain it is to craft buff packs....
buffs by the way are the main reason why combat in this game is whack.... buffs should be one tenth as effective as they are and mobs should go back to how they were a year ago.... buffs should be for 250 points not 2500.... the ham cost system worked fine.... you could wear 80 percent resist composite armor but the cost was so high that spamming specials would incap you....

YES!!! THAT is what the game needs!!!! It need to be MORE difficult to play.
Nerf the buffs, nerf the MOBs, THEN nerf the specials too. That'll keep the subscriptions rolling in!
