Secondly
- I only do this when i know i wont be able to play, meaning in the weekend when im doing something else than being stuck in front of the computer, i have set my toon up, as a Buff and Wound bot, thus providing a valued service for those needing wound healed.
- I have figured out a macro, That allows me to heal wounds at maximum speed (17 seconds in my case) and throw in onebuff between each wound heal.
- Unfortunately i leave for work just before server reboot, and i have no acces to SWG or remote acces to my computer, thus i cant setup my bot during workdays, unless i know when i get home that sitting in front of the PC is not my choice off fun that day.
- I dont charge a specifik amount for the buff/wound heals. But let people decide what they feel is fair for the service.
Here's an idea - when you can't play the game, don't make the game play itself.
Leave the duties to those people who ARE playing the game.
Instead, while you're off doing whatever, the people actually playing the game walk in, see a bot, and walk out because they're not needed.
You're stealing people's roles from them by running a macro. And the more you do it, the more you're thought of as an NPC, and the cries for Doctor NPC's have already started.
Wake up Doctors, you're in for the same nightmare as Entertainers unless you do something about it.

You seem to suggest that if you are not making money you dont want to play, Yet you want to nerf people who do make money for providing a service. You are a thief, plain and simple. You have no friends, your "Friends" will turn on you the second you're of no use to them. You steal a gameplay experience from each and every person who arrives where you are, and sees you stealing their customers from them with some lame macro. If you're not playing the game, don't play the game. You do nothing but harm this game by your actions, and you probably will never understand that until you find yourself as useless as the Entertainer bots were, with nobody caring about them when they served no purpose. Stop stealing the fun from other people's games. You provide no service- you in fact do a disservice to SWG by your actions. The Devs know this, the question is when they will actually do something about it.

*sigh* Jedi haters are so pre-CU. Live in the now. And the slim minority of yokels in starports are nothing compared to the guy or gal next to you who looks like a non-Jedi, but is doing the right thing by not showing off.
Besides, they were making a point that real Entertainers are in hiding because of bots and what they did to them. Instead of reading everything literally, take a moment to think about what people write first.

Enjoy your game? You're not playing your game, your game is playing itself for you. I don't know how it is you know that your computer enjoys playing your game, but the fact of the matter is that your macro, in it's purest form is the one that is keeping others from enjoying THEIR GAME by PLAYING it. If I had my way, nobody would, because stupid bots wouldn't be thieving the role of wound healers from people actually playing games. Bots do nothing but harm the game, in ways I've already mentioned. If there is a need for a skill, people fill it - unless they attempt to fill it, see a stupid bot thieving their experience from them, then say "what the heck, why bother, how freakin stupid" and drop the profession. With bots in the game, Doc NPC's already exist - and it's you, and it does nobody any good.

With statements like the above, I think it's you who is the child. I can see you're a complete waste of time. Enjoy the loss of your "friends" when you can't bot. It's lonely at the bottom. All of us live Entertainers and Doctors know this, and soon you will too. You're killing your own fun, and killing others' fun, so good job - way to hurt the game you supposedly like so much that you make it play itself while you're gone.
Best of luck, thief. You need it. Respec to something you'll actually play, and let the big kids handle the stuff you just want to run a script to handle. Play your game or save yourself $15 per month and let everyone else enjoy the game they're paying for and actually playing.

The problem with AFK macroing is that it takes away content from other players. There are a lot of people out there who have more than 1 account and play on their main while their alt is AFK somewhere generating additional income for the main.
While player A is actually ATK and could provide the service, he has to compete with player B who is AFK and also is offering that service. Why should player A have to compete with player B in the first place? Why should you expect one and the same person providing a service 24/7? SWG is played all over the world, and when player B cannot play ATK, some other player will be ATK to do the job.
Granted, people still have the choice to go to AFK or ATK entertainers, which makes it less problematic than the loot campers. But the basic issue still stands: Why should somebody who is not actually playing the game get more in-game benefit than somebody playing the game?

Firstly i dont care... i got tired how hearing the poor JTL players running around desperately looking for a doctor.
Secondly... Since im doing it on a starter planet like tatooine.. I get many beginner player, which can benefit from my service.
Thirdly... well hmm okay i ran out arguments...
Here's a thought.... not many doctors left anyways... So why not just drop the profesion entirely from the game...
Since most of our role is covered by the Combat Medic, who's combat role is almost identical to the one a doctor can provide.
And most never use the new buffs anyways...
And they can get their wounds healed by a jedi.
And the healing all-users stimpacks can be made by the medics.
Not much in it for the revive function either, since doing it in combat makes us instant agro'ed and fails the revive. Thus revive is only performed after combat is over, and then it really doesnt matter how long time the revived players are groggy or how much health is healed during the revive itself.
All in all there isnt much left that is unique for the doctor.

Ok, ill end it. Stop trying to force people to play the way you want. If they afk play, live with it. It is the way they want to play, and it does not violate the EULA.
I didnt say you cant complain,just dont get all gestapo over it. That is going too far. They have a right to play like you do. Keep that in mind.

I've always made more money then even the "best" AFKer by actually playing my game. So it's not really a big deal to me. AFKers are just another form of griefing, and I don't need that type of image for my toons on my server. And if you have a big problem with that comment I could really care less.
The Dev's have made it perfectly clear already that playing this game with in an AFK state will not be toleratedmuch longer. So go ahead and provide your "service", because you aren't going that have the chance when the Devs work there magic.

Jedi are running around unchecked.....While Entertainers, are being run out of cantina's by people like you that just don't care about the community or the other players around you. It's really that simple, Entertainers are all in hiding because there is no real reason for them to dealwith AFKers filling up the cantina's with never ending SPAM.

If I had my way there would be ZERO NPC Healers and ZERO AFK Healers. So I think a lot of people would be asking for NPC Healers... But that's already began on this forum. Most people that play this game are in their mid 20's all the way up to there low 70's. So there is a huge range of players in this game....it's a shame you don't fit in between those age groups. Maybe then you would understand what is being written.

The thing that gets me, is that nowhere in my original post was I even talking about an anti-AFKers revolution....I was simply explaining why most ATK Entertainers don't play in other area's of the game outside of private cities and such.
If people want to play AFK whatever....the devs will fix that on there own...they don't need my help.
