It's funny because it's true.

Should our correspondent be raising this with them ? It cant possibly be too late to change this can it ?
He has
But, for the record, it probably is too late to change it now. The RotW expansion has already been coded and finalized and all that, just needs the testing to be done to tweak it and polish it. Changing the way the Cybernetics are handled(i.e. implementing a questing system for Docs/BEs/DEs to be part of) is probably too much work for them to do before launch.
It's something that should've been done to begin with, adding content for Player Professions, but since they already went the route of NPCs doing the work we're pretty much stuck with it.
Oh and it's nice how information comes out after it's too late to do anything about it.

Here is how I see it.
Ya, it sucks no PC's got a role in one of the coolest new add on features that have hit the game in a long while.
However, nothing says that once the devs have some time post CU implementation and ROTW launch that they will not come back to this topic. Any time they add something this game changing it will always need tweaking to bring it in line. Perhaps at that time they will revamp how the implementation goes.
Well see.
Well we know you'll remind them about later
but tell them they stink anyway! ![]()
Seriously, what a let down this is, glad to hear you've brought it up with them though, and I can wait a few months I guess/

The fuinny thing about ROW.. from the same interview... Apparently wookies don't get anything special out of this expansion. They are basically even with every other char on the new planet ... factions for quests etc. They start from zero. Go figure heh.

Something to alsothink about is how many Wooks have the Cybernetics??? I'm gonna ROFL if they can't even use them.

True. I saw it that way too. About a month later I dropped CH.
Renea,
Took me about 4 months later to drop CH. The funny thing is that with the CU one of the builds I am thinking of going back to is CH/Doc. So it took them 1.5 yrs.........
On the other side, we whined bout fire dots... and got blankets.
We whined about not being able to cure area poisons.... and got area cures.
We whined about not being able to resist poisons..... and got resist buffs.
There are many cases where changes were made on the plus side.

You can't really consider all those things to be changes on the 'plus side' though. The area cures and resist buffs were both implemented at the same time(which I still think was overkill) and the implementation wasn't necessarily handled the best way it could've been(all love went to Doc).
But that's just me being nitpicky about the resists and area cures... ![]()

Of course area cures and resist buffs went to Docs. We are intended to be the anti CM. If either had gone to CM then there would have been little to no use for a doc on the battle field other than to sit in a clone center and buff folks. These changes brought docs in as important adds to the PvP arena and gave them one of the very few remaining Healing roles.
Heck, even with those changes CM is still the most dangerous non-Jedi prof in any group PvP.
But that is just me being nitpicky about your nitpicks....
