Most of those don't bother me much. The new buff system made things lot easier for us since any master doctor's buff are good enough for goverment work.

What I really really hate even now, and this has been on our top 10 hate list for long loooong time is when they say

"can you heal my wound plz!!!"

It isn't so bad if they are solid black bar but when you diagnose em and see like 3 str wound or 5 health wound out of 3000, then you start to grind your teeth pretty hard.

It really blows when you walk into hospital feeling unusually helpful, see that no other doctor is there and tons of people sitting in the bed. You wipe out your heal pack and start healing wounds and you get this guy who have like 700 health wound, 300 action wound, 50 str wound and like 2 quickness wound. You heal the health and action, and you even drop a wound E on str and as you walk away the kid say

"hey you missed quickness! can you get my quickenss to plz!!!"

it is time like that when I think going to darkside might not be so bad.

Yea unless they are a doctor, they dont know how hard it is to make even the wound healing packs. I only carry around Wound - E packs, and they heal up to like 500 in wound damages so when ppl ask me to heal their minor wounds with only 1-5 in damage, I usually tell them to go whip out a camp somewhere or to go to the medical center cuz Im not wasting a 500+ wound pack which took me forever to make (since they require components from factory crates) for booger wounds that can be fixed in less than 2 minutes just by sitting around.

It would be neat tho, if professions that let us craft more items in accordance with skills will also give us more storage space on our inventory. People that hunt and fight, they only need inventory space for scouting and for weapons. Entertainers dont really need any space at all. Artisans need a lot of space cuz all they do is craft craft craft. Even docs need a lot of space cuz as our medical crafting skill increases, we get more choices in our crafting kit. The skills that increase the number of things that person can craft, should also have a +room in inventory as a skill reward. Creature handles have +room for their pets, we should too! Docs have to carry around all sorts of healing/wound/enhancement packs A,B,C,D, and E and not to mention Rez kits and poison cures etc and OMG RESOURCES galore....I literally need like 10 droids to contain my things! ANd I dont even remember what I put in all of them since droids all look alike so it sux to have to open each one to see what I put in them. And I could leave it in storage at my house but then I Would have to travel back and forth all the time to just pick up ONE damn item. Banks too, we can use banks as storage but then I would have to always look for a bank terminal AND I have to make sure Im on the planet I opened the bank in.

Just a thought....

5. Please ask me number 5, a lot. I always take materials in trade for medical serveice (not just Avian). The guy who brought me 11k 960/915 Petro 4 one day, has buffs and rezzes for life at a huge discount (especially since he sold it for a fair price). Whielgood avian and herbavore are prefered (because meat is harder to get), I take good organics and other stuff in trade all the time (and buy the remainder if they have more then would be fair to trade for buffs).

Amen to that. I remember once some guy came in asking for buffs and gave me avain because he heard doctors use it. THis guy gave me 21k avain with oq 923 and PE 794, my jaw just dropped, I pulled out my janta blood buffs and gave him the good stuff, because he was going to give it to me for free. You would not understand how happy he got when I paid him 3 cpu. So yes I always take avain and herb.

This post wasnt for newbie docs, its for docs who have been a doc for a while and get sick of some questions and phrases. I dont really get annoyed as much as I should, but I thought it would be a fun post cuz I wanted to see what other phrases docs cant stand or get annoyed with. I been a doc for about 2 weeks now, and I am ALREADY annoyed LOL. I cant wait til I get TKM so I can use that as my profession instead. I only put up my master doc title cuz thats the only master profession I have acquired and its something to be proud of. You WANT to put your master title in there, doesnt mean Im carrying around a sign "Im a doc, please annoy me today!" Hehe But overall, I love this new profession. Its a great skill to have since people ask you for service, although it can get overwhelming sometimes. I only wanted master doc so I can make awesome buffpacks and experiment with it. I just wish people would understand that we are not only doctors, sometimes we wanna go out fighting and do other things besides stand around and buff all day.

Guys, I think this post was just for fun. To share some "good" times a docs. Every prof as its issues. For example, I turned off my doc tag so that I would not get "can you buff" questions and turned on my Ch tag (dont ask why). Gues what, I got tons of tells with "can you name my pet", "can you train my pet", "I will pay you xx for a bunny" etc.

I realize the title says "Annoying" but none of the honest questions are truly bad, its just the repetativeness that gets annoying.

There are some that are annoying. For example, when someone sets up their template so they have no med skills and then demands to be healed because he yells "Heal" fifty times. Foolishnes.

As for the macro reply, its a must.

You can also set up your afk responce so say "No I am not buffing, or healing at the moment but I am not afk."

Sometimes for fun my guild mate and I will go into coro before a hunt and my afk will say "I am only buffing guildmates, for 25k you can be a temp guildmate". When there is a long line at the other doc you will be amazed at how many people say, Sign me up.

That's the one. Out of everything else, that's the one that makes me laugh so loud. Everytime I see that spamed in a city, I would if they will ever get a tell.

No maybe if it said "ne one buffing? Paying 50k. PST" Then maybe you will get some tells.

I like to wear my Master Doctor tag, I earned it and I'm proud of it. That said, the "You buffin'" tells can be a bit trying, especially when I'm sitting in the mud next to my droid named "Get-Buffed-Here" and I have a line in front of me. And when I am standing at the ticket droid, I'm not buffin'.

I like the suggestion of a "/r Not right now" or "/r you bet, I'm located at..." button on the toolbar...
