Buffing at present is the bane of peoples lives, both docs and others. You have to have a buff to do XP grinding or go loot effectively so people think Docs should realise this and make their lives easier. The problem is they then run off and earn a shedload of cash or find a nice item they can flog for millions all for the cost of a buff.
I buff myself and people i know, if someone asks nicely or will pay me extra ill do them, one time in coro i was buffing a guildie while waiting for a shuttle, two people approached and asked nicely (yes please and thankyou!) so i said yeah ive got 9 mins to kill but tell others your the last. They did they paid everyone was happy.
Docs are seriously neglected when it comes to respect, people think your there solely to buff them cos you want the money and buff packs fall from the sky. I dont mind rezzing or using disease or poison packs on people for free if im there, that is part of why i became a doc in game and they cost barely anything to make.
Id say with the economy in its current state and with the combat balance set back Docs should make thier mark now, raise prices on all servers to a standard 30k, people can afford it its like 3 missions which takes 5 mins at master level combat, this pays for us to use food to enhance speed (Havla?) or bivoli to increase the effectiveness and makes time spent buffing people worthwhile considering how mind numbingly dull it is. It might even encourage more people to take up the skill point crippling career to see how it is for themselves.

The only times I buff anymore is when I need to buff myselfat dant mining at the start of the nightand don't want the bivoli to go to waste 
I buff until the bivoli effect runs out, and thenI go hunting. I can usually get a good price using average buffs since it saves people the trip back to coronet, and my lines are usually short.

I have an alt on Bria, who only buffs on Dant...but about every 3 hrs I have about 4 griefers. One even goes so far as to stand on top of me so noone can target me to pay me. Grrr.
I have had some ppl:
- butt in front of 10 ppl (non VIP) and spam 'buff me' for about 5 minutes straight
- tip me 8k (and one even tipped my DROID so they said) and think that I don't know that I'm being ripped off...(i have EVERYTHING color coded on my screen)
- come up to me and ask (while I'm spamming) if I'm buffing, what the stats are and for how much...I simply /pointup
- tip me whilst I'm saying 'I'm afk and PLS DO NOT TIP' (verbatim)
- ask for discounts cause they got no cash (fair enuff in some circumstances) but this one in particular is a TKM, GROUPED, and on Dant...u figure the rest out
- follow me around while I move from them 4 or 5 times because they are standing on my head in my 'spot' (this one is a particular favorite of mine)
...and to top it all off...I mastered Doc on Thursday, March 24th! This is only 3 days worth of crapola, I look forward to sharing more with you all!!! Lol.

If people spam things infront of you like "Buff me", all you have to do is /addignore (players name). It makes it so that you cant see anything that the player says, even tells

Kauri has its fair share of @$$hats that demand free buffs. And recently I've noticed a bunch of "new" players that ask for buffs and help and then run away spamming a bunch of stuff about you. It happened to me and a saw it happen to two other docs.
In Kauri we dont make lines we use the bank tip method so there is no cutting in line.

I've only been buffing for a couple of weeks now on Bria. I haven't had anyone demand a buff yet, but there is a reason why I always keep a set of Enhance A.

hehehe enhance A's... did a little experiment on my server this morning EARLY before other docs were out... You see, I dont wear a Master Doctor tag because I generally don't buff; I pvp. And it provides a good advantage if the oposing force doesn't know I'm the doctor. Anyways, my droid is named Sparks.
We sat there (me and my droid) and not once did I advertise. Most people, most likely after going through my bio and finding master doc, came up to me and asked if I was a doctor, to which I replied "yes I certainly am" or something to that effect. Then.... after a pause, they would ask can you buff? to which I would reply "I can indeed".
On it went until they finally asked to be buffed. LOL its suprising what you can make people do when your the only doctor around. Anyways I buffed everyone for free but told them so in a tell so I wouldn't get people coming up and asking for free buffs. Also had a couple of people who would run out of the Cnet Spaceport back in and shuttle away, shuttle back in and repeat over and over and over without once stopping to ask. Hehe maybe I'm just a mean guy
oh and I realise I did a horrible job of telling that story
oh well

I'm very much like the people above...
Ask them to stop
Tell them to stop
Offer free buffs to everyone that reports them as well.
This does two things: 1 get them reported by many people. 2 Pisses them off further that they don't get buffs let alone free buffs.
Once I had three people harrassing, one of them messaged me asking if he reported the other two as well could he get buffs? LOL

Personally, when i get MD this is what i'm going to do:
1. Ask to stop
2. Tell to stop
3. Give the 2 people behind him free buffs
Hopefully they'll get the idea by now, but if not:
4. Report abuse
5 (Hopefully it won't get to this point). /tell a Combat Prof. and ask them to send me a screenshot of them dead (Or I'd just hunt him myself)
And if he's stupid enough to stay to this point:
6. Give everyone within the sound of my voice buffs half off if they prove to me that they've reported the offender.

2 stories...slightly off topic (maybe not).
I was home with a sick kid for a week and discovered that there are no docs on regularly during the day on Radiant (incidentally, Radiant doesn't tend to have the grief mentioned here, with this exception--). I sat at CNet doing 10k buffs. Some guy comes up, sits on top of me, and starts spamming "FREE BUFFS! FREE BUFFS!" At the same time he's /telling me "LOL. Just kidding! LOL." over and over. So, I put my droid away. The people in line (about 4, but honestly, there was a steady stream of people for about 30 minutes, with no sign of ending) said, "What's going on, where are you going?" To which I told them that the jerk had ruined the fun, and I was logging off. And did so. I have the luxury of having 2 accts., and I told them with my second acct. to hang tight, and I'd be back in a few, so they wouldn't be angry. They berated the guy for the next 5 minutes. One followed him around spamming something probably considered offensive. One told me he reported the guy, and I buffed him for free (as a new doc, I'm not rich enough to do that often yet....I'm scraping by).
Better story--
On Friday last week I was on, and there was another doc already there. His buffs were slightly stronger, but 3 hours. Mine were 3:20. I initially was going to charge less, but then I messaged him and said, "I'll keep my prices the same as yours if you don't drop yours." He agreed. About 5 min later a guy came up to me, and despite my not-so-invasive bark of "10k", asked what I was charging. I told him. "LOL Forget it your (sic) nuts" was the reply. (I'm assuming that should be a sic--perhaps it was a derogatory comment I didn't grasp immediately 
). Anyway, I told my "partner" and he said "Watch this!" He proceeded to RAISE his price to 14k on the guy! The guy came back to me, to which I said, "Forget it, You're nuts!" He went back to the other doc, who now charged him 18k!!! A third doc showed, and we had him do the same. Eventually, we all raised prices to 12k, and there were no complaints from anyone. And, it was rather fun, "unionizing" the docs!

And, it was rather fun, "unionizing" the docs! Real World Lesson: I used to work for the world's largest brewery, and I supported the Marketing folks. I'm not a strong business mind myself, but I learned a valuable lesson. They had a tactic they called "Train the Dog." Basically, in an attempt to gain market share, the world's second largest brewery would periodically drop their prices. Market share wouldn't drop for several weeks (beer drinkers tend to be VERY brand-loyal--at least in the States), but eventually, there'd be a slight drop, and so we'd finally lower our prices as well. The market share would then go back to where it was, and both companies would eventually raise their prices back to where they had been initially. Overall, the exact same amount of beer would be sold total, meaning that lower prices hadn't attracted any increase in business. All lowering prices did was make it so both companies made less money.
"Train the Dog" was the lesson learned by the second largest brewer, that lowering prices only impacted profits, so everyone made less money. The "training" was, if you keep your prices where they are, you'll make more money than if you lower them to earn market share, cuz we'll do the same thing, and you're back to where you started.
I should point out--there was no type of agreement between these companies whatsoever--no collusion, etc. This was just a good business lesson (for me) on price change and demand.
Overall, people are willing to pay 10-14k for a buff. If you undercut a guy to try to gain business, he'll just do the same, and now you're making 8k each instead of 10k.
(Perhaps I should make this a separate post? Thoughts?)
Anyway--If you're getting harrassed, report, ignore, raise prices due to the "unjust rudeness" you're receiving...
