Useing insults and theRoleplayingexcussto cover yourself from thetruth? Puleese all you've done is insult Master Doctors for being Master doctors oh and insult a doctor for takeing it too seriously. Unless your the type of person that needsa conversation in Big letters andsimple reading to understand whatOTHER people think about what you wrote.I'm sorry if someone acually defended Master Doctors from a person that makes doctors look non-humaniod. And defend that Doctors arn't all rich and not all greedy. Theres more to conversation then just insults and i don't doubt if you could type over what you said in other posts that it whould be pure insulting and pure "look at me i'm brainy" and will only make yourself look worse

Also Im merely saying that Doctors should have a little integrity and pride in themselves... a little care for the customer not the attitude of hmm what price can I squeak out of him.
Im sure that any sort of generalization that I make or comparison will be looked at by someone uninformed of the facts and just scoffed at and belittled. Thats fine Ive been taking the road less traveled on these boards for a while now and I do it for the simple pleasure of the argument. Im unsure how I insulted Docs for making them look like they take it too seriously I was under the impression with my servitude attitude and obscure linkage to the Hippocratic Oath that I was taking it too seriously.. my bad..
As in the start of this thread of and others Ive criticized Doctors for taking advantage of their customers with high prices and then wonder why the price of supplies is so high when Ive been screaming about giving a little consideration to your customers and you get alot in return, mostly in the form of verbal praise but sometimes with very cheap prices or even free supplies.
PS... Show me where I was anymore rude and insulting than anyone else in the thread so far... The only thing that Ive been guilty of so far is a little creative writing...

Treat it like the real world, whatever the market will bear.
Me personally, I belong to a guild that takes care of it's members.
I do not pay for avain meat, and I would not. I can personally collect enough avian to keep myself buffed with no problem at all. I act as a doctor for my guild and inreturn they provide me with avian and herbivore meat on a regular basis.
I accept tips from those that wish to do so, which average anywhere from 5-25k usually. This helps pay for harvesters and such.
Since I'm ona low population server (Scylla) I don't spend a lot of time in med centers healing because, well, there's nobody to heal. And I do not buff people that I do not know.
I can get money just fine doing other things, those poor souls standing in a line 30 deep outside the starport paying a stranger for buffs should try and find a good group of regular friends or a guild that works to support the players in it.
I "could" charge everyone I know for buffs, and if I did they'd charge me for the meat, then hand the money right back too me when they needed a buff. So, I don't waste my time. What's happen to PA's in this game anyway...

Greed for charging 12k for buffs that are over 2100? I think that greed is the people who believe that they DESERVE 2500ish buffs for 10k. That just blows my mind. 10k? You can make 3 times that with a good solo group on Dant in like 10 minutes. That is just rediculous. With a 3.5 hr duration, figure killing two lairs about every 15 minutes max, you could get 840k off of one set of buffs. That's one hell of a profit on a 10k doc buff. Seems to me that they are worth more. I'm not trying to flame the docs that like to keep their prices at 10k, but for me, it just ain't happening. 10k for 2100 is fine, anything above that starts to go up from me. People don't seem to mind on intrepid either. I've have a 10k undercutter set up shop right next to me and still didn't have a problem with business. And here's a word of advice to people who like to complain to a doc in a tell about their price, go find another freaking doc. When a doc tells you to stop complaining and it continues, it's harrassment and you can be reported for that. Apparently you can be reported or repeatedly killing a person after they ask you to stop, but that's a different story for another time. Don't believe me, ask a CSR the next time you see one. It's a rather intertesting experience.

Im done with this thread since I hate to visit the same post twice because the replylooks typed without full understanding of the topic at hand.. and yes I am a Doctor and Im pretty sure Ive been a Doc longer than most Docs in this game since most people on my server remember me as nothing other than a Doc from the very begining of the game...
I get asked why I dont charge more for my great buffs... and I just reply to them that "I'm Old School..." This usually throws them off since I think that most of the Old Schooler's quit long ago.. anyways..
I would have loved to have looked here today and seen some thought put into that reply instead of just blah... but alas what should I have expected from someone thats so busy accusing me of insulting Doctors they are yet to point out a very specific example that shows where Im badmouthing the profession and not just a few new Docs that discovered they could make a few bucks..

Ohh no i know the topic,its just that i've been telling people like you over and over and over and over (+100) as for you being a doctor then i'm sorry that you donot understand a word any of your fellow doctors are talking about. I'm not new to being a doctor i've been one half a year at least. you asked me to tellyou where you were insulting at and you got your answer. i did not like how rude you were to a person so i answerd it. And you donot haved to put snide Remarks that nobody is giveing a good answer because they are idiots. i know where your Remarks come from and i consiter you ignorant to fellow doctors thats only trying to make a liveing. And I'm trying to point out in this thred that not every doctor is greedy just because they go with the system. some good points were pointed out and i will admire some peoples answers. If doctors are rich so be it,but i never knew a master doctor that had 50 million or a billion. and them people are admired not picked over on.

WOW! Dang I've Been playing this game since launch and I have never had more than 300k! I dbe happy wiht half a mill in my account once! What am I doing wrong?

I love getting called close minded and told that Im un-popular... guess what? Oh well...
First off Caynnor historically the most popular people/theories werent always the right ones.. Secondly since you just buff occasionally I dont see why you even care what I say about prices since like you said you got it just to counter act the CM's in PvP not to do public buffing so yes its your opinion to give but you've just discredited yourself by saying you dont public buff except for the, "I buff once or twice a week in publicto pay for buffs I give guildies," comment. Also you missed my points of my RL examples because no one uses them.. for good reason.. no one here understands them... no one even tries to look for meaning when its standing there taking a leak on their shoes... all because its in their favor not to, it makes their argument stronger.
Also the next time you think that RL has nothing to do with SWG think again it has everything to do with it.. your ideas... attitude... this all translates to the way your toon is going to act remember. Hence the saying "You can tell alot about a person in the first30 seconds"...
Dejik Im guessing the poster that you liked to argue with was malinformed on events after you called out a challenge basically. Im guessing this person had a similar opinion to yours unline the totally oposite ones that we have. Its no wonder you liked him.. A perfect person to argue against and make yourself look good..
People have been trained that 10k is the norm now.. give it time and atleast on Ahazi there should be a reversal of that... well if I have something to say about it.
A saying from one of my favorite authors Gary Spence is, "You can argue and win with any argument with almost any person, except the person that won't argue". You are that person that won't argue...

And why do you think that telling the story that happened to me in the way that you think would fit best would help your argument/insult me? And who is this "we" you speak of? The only person on this board agreeing with you is youreself. Have you not noticed that are multiple posts arguing against you, and not one yet against me?
As for the "except the person that won't argue", take a look in the mirror. All you're doing is acting like a spoiled child or an egotistical adult, take your pick. You are not hearing what anyone else is saying at all, instead you're coming up with quotes or attempting to demean the other person and not at all sticking to the topic. ok so your calling me childish but your ASKING for others to raise their hand and basically say, "Yes, I support you Dejik because Purplebooks is a close-minded person"... does that about sum it up? I see that your yes man obliged you as well..
Its not a popular idea in the Doctors forum to LOWER prices.. think about it. That's why you dont see anyone jumping to argue against you... If the roles were reversed and I was argueing for higher prices and you lower you would have shut the $%^# up by now because no one would have jumped to help you insult.

Ok I did take your advice and looked in a mirror (Damn nice if I do say so myself.. no wonder my wife married me...). I was willing to address all points and facts given.. you were not and have not since.Instead you have so far relied on name calling as a primary form of argument.BTW citing a source or quotes in an argument or paperis just smart.. any learned person will be able to tell you that.

What in the world are you babbling about? I haven't even attempted to call you names! I said that you were being childish, but that's a little different than you insulting my typing. You just threw my argument back at me!
My point this entire time is that it is OK to disagree, but there is no need to be an ass about it. Why is this so confusing? I meant to state that one little thing and you start going all over the place. And if I was arguing that prices should be lowered I think the reaction would be MUCH different than the one you have receieved. You are basically telling everyone that they are wrong, you are right, and you haven't adressed nor even acknowledged what others have said.
I don't care that you want to lower prices, you aren't even on my server so that's handy dandy, fine by me. If you're succesful in your venture, then congratulations. I just stated my views, told you to tone it down, and that was that. You are the one that made this into a big ordeal.
As for having my "yes man", there could very well have been people telling me that I was wrong.
