Thread: What do people consider really good buffs, and what are they willing to pay?

I've been a doc for a little while now, and I'm able to hit 2.5k across the board, 3h duration. I've been charging 10k, and have been told repeatedly that "this is the best buff I've gotten, ever". In the same session, I've been told I'm overpriced.
I make my own packs, and have gotten cost down to around 3k for a full 6-stat buff for people, so my price is flexable.
Here's my question: Should I adjust my price down a bit, keep it where it is, or bump it to 11k-12k?
When I buff in places like Coronet with other docs around, they're advertising 2k-2.3k buffs, for between 6k-8k. Some days it's easy to get business, others my line remains empty forever.
I know for a fact that even at 10k my buffs are a bargin; in 3 hours I can go run missions and rake in around 500k in 45 min or so myself, so over 3 hours that comes out to around 2 mil in the time the buffs last. I do know I'm not normal when it comes to mission running, I am very fast at it, but still at 1/3 the pace, that's still around 600k-700k credits. Best part is when the buffs are at 2.5k, the mokk/janta barely scratch me, so I tend to do it without armor, so I don't incur any cost from general armor decay.
Comments? Suggestions?
I personally think you're under charging, but you need to ask yourself, "What is my time worth?" If you could take your own buffs and gather 500K+ an hour running missions, then just explain that lowering your price isn't cost effective to keep you sitting there. In order to make the same money buffing as you do running missions you would have to have a constant line (2 minutes per buff) chargeover 16K a set. Which if you're on an advanced planet or at the DWB or Geo Labs, you can get it easy with those buffs.

What's your point? Docs should be buffing for free? Or just feeding your god complex.
I consider my buffs really good (answered teh first part of his question) and I usually give them for free (answered the second part).
What was YOUR point, stalking me I see?

10k for 2300 or 15k for 2560 Bivoli buffs

Like someone stated before Radiant is on the bottom of the buff price food chain, I personally have never seen anyone on radiant charge more than 10k for ANY stat buffs with the exception of one smart ass outside the DWB charging 20k with an attitude, and then my goodbuddy tras who charges 15k to add bivoli to his buffs...
I have only been at this buffing thing for 2 weeks and when you first start out crafting your own buffs and you can only get them up to 2100, i did find people dont want to pay 10k for that when they know elsewhere they can get 2300 for the same price. It is a rough business to start out in and since I've been able to get my buffs up to 2300+ ive heard no complaints about the 10k price. Considering the formula set out in earlier posts about how much money you can make running missions on a 3hr buff, I think all of the Docs on radiant need to up their prices...slowly get the general public used to the idea because these people just dont realize how easy they have it on radiant compared to other servers, I think if they knew they would still whine about it, but if everyone gradually upped their fee, especially those selling great buffs, they would have to getover it and either stop whining, or go doc and buff themselves.
So if your buffing at 2500 I commend you and say charge it up... As a seasoned hunter i'd be happy to pay 15k for a set of 2500 for me and for my pet! Because It's a rare occasion on radiant when i see more than 2300 stats.
My 2 credits on it....
I'm still using my 2088/3h44m enhance packs that I crafted 6 months ago. Back then I was asking 6k, but buffs were also random. Now that bivioli is available, I can get 2266 with +19 bivioli. It's not 2500, but that extra 44 minutes should count for something.
I see10k plastered in most doctors macros, with 2300+ power and 3h duration. Seems like the going rate on Sunrunner.
I stopped buffing the pubic after the bank tip scams became really bad. Now I just use them for my alt, or give them away. Even with bank tipping fixed, I doubt I'll ever buff the public again. There's buff-bots for that now.
