Umm, the guy asked how much for a buff, Cyto said 50k. Enough said. He doesn't have to state what the 50k includes, time, bivoli, med clothes, buffpacks etc... damn if we docs did that we'd be here all day just justifying ourselves.
Yes but what Longshot ment was he did not tell me (longbow) that he took the 5k for the travel time from the bottom of the geo to the top of the geo.
He can not take money of somone and not explain why.
The buff was 50k (which is cheap in my opinion for comming from the bottom of the geo caves). no need to ask what the 50k is for.
Im sorry but 50k is alot of money to me i miss read what he typed and couldnt afford it the doctor walked off and took my credits the 5k that i initaly tiped him. You can't go and do this without saying what he was taking the money for. its rude and its stealing i am not a bad person but everyone here treats me as if i am i am i made a mistake and lost 5k as a result. Its not about the money its the principle of the matter that this doctor thought he could go around taking money and not buffing even if i did get the price wrong he should of just tiped the 5k back unless he is that desperate for it.

As a doc who has seen far too much of this kind of thing, let me just make a couple quick points.
1 - 50k is NOT too much for a buff. There are countless posts here on exactly what you can do in god mode for 3 hours. Even an elite novice can sit on dant and pull 15k missions and run them like nothing. 5 missions, money made back, at least 2 hours left on your buffs.
2 - This person was at the Geo Caves. This area is notorious, across all servers, for being pricy. First, you're on hard content, the geo caves are not for the feint of heart. 2nd, you're in the wild, and a very dangerous area. 3rd the doc is trying to be helpful.
3 - This entire matter, at it's very heart, is over 5k credits. If that means that much to you, you should NOT be at the geo caves, you should be on naboo, corellia, or tatooine, or possibly dant. In fact, you should be anywhere but the geo caves, deathwatch bunker, 'vette, or any other of the top-end content. These areas require the skill from experience, as well as the resources to prepare and back up your actions. While gathering any of that, you will pick up a few mil credits along the way, and 5k won't mean much anymore.
4 - Right or wrong, what you have put this doc through is why a lot of us no longer buff the public, keep our helper tags up, or generally enjoy the part of the game we really did like. I'm in that boat. I love to help, I love to take a group of new players to mid -ranged content for the first time, I love to just sit and chat in the med center while I heal people, I love every aspect of playing a support class! But constant complaints, demands (not requests) for my time, followed by some of the rudest language I've ever herd in my life because my help "isn't good enough" have totally ruined that part of the game for me... and I dare say this doc too.

But you chose to harp on the fact that you are a doctor yourself and yetdisplay such astounding ignorance. Quit while you are ahead, before you lose whatever little sympathy is left for you.

Alot of people here are saying i am wrong for making him come from the bottom of the geo cave. I did not know he was at the bottom of the cave. he was less than a 100m from the entrance to me i miss read i made a mistake i can't afford to pay 50k andi don't wanna spend a few hours on dant getting money. Because your all suggesting this and all i wanted was to kill things at the geo for loot nothing more.

Considering your opening line to him was 'Are you near the Geo lab' Longbow, I think your arguement is flawed. Whether he was at the bottom or flying with a jetpack in the clouds, he said a price and YOU misread. Simple as that. He spent time trying to get to you - doesn't matter where from. He came away from what he was doing to buff YOU for an agreed price.
You ballsed up, you made the error, you misread. Irrespective of everything else. Lets say you call a plumber out to your house and say "how much for callout" he says "£50" and you agree. The plumber arrives and you hand him a fiver - whaddya think is going to happen? I'll tell you what, the said plumber is going to hit you on the head with a monkeywrench for wasting his time. Saying "Ohhh I didn't hear you properly and thought you said £5" isn't going to help the situation either. You'll just get another lump on the head from that monkey wrench for being an ignoramous.
There's an expression we have here in the UK for people like you who waste others time, don't listen or read the agreements properly and then go spouting off about it... One word sums it up.
