I have about 500k of good avian. It is now rather worthless. Who is going to want a 900 power buff when they can have a 950 power buff for free?
Thank goodness I did not use my other resouces to craft with that avian, then not only would the avian be worthless but so would the other high end resouces I would have used to craft an inferior back.
The difference in 50 points is not that big. Plus you have to remember most of the buffing docs don't make their own packs, its all bout less effort for reward. The crafting Docs are still going to own the market.
I only wish you were correct. You and I may know that 50 points will not save a life, however, the average joe is all about getting that extra 150 point buff. Let me give you an example;
Buff1 900 power, 2:45 duration cost 1 mil for set of 5 unit crates
Buff2 875 power, 3:00 duration, cost 800k for a set of 5 unit crates.
Buff3 860 power, 3:20 duration, cost 600k for a set of 5 unit crates.
I will sell 10x the number of Buff1's. I sell 10x of them because buffing docs sell 10x. They sell 10x of them because the buffing customers demands it.

It's beginning to look like the new best ever avian is now worth 200 cpu. Obviously every other spawn is worth less than that now. So a lot of doctors just lost 50% of the value on their avian stock. Good thing it's all game money.
For Flurry it is even worse. The best ever spawn is so much better than any spawn that we have had in the last great while that it will make the non-vet reward avain rather worthless.
The secondary issue is that the other resoures (herb, fiber, etc) will also loose a great deal of value since the final product will loose value.
Ahh well. I am just venting.
Maybe it is a good time to craft up my personal stash and take a break from crafting.

Same, I went broke actually buying over 400k worth of avian for 100cpu. Isn't a bad deal, I'll make more credits in the long run as well. But I still hate this because I'll also have to be competing with other crafting doctors with the same kind of buffs.

Reactive gas is a huge part of the pack as is all the subs.. and without the resources to make great subs then just having the best of Avian will not get you the 940+ packs.... just my .02 creds worth ansd i don't mean to offend any other Docs... Awwww, relax guys. Anybody who has the ability to compete with good non-avian resources but hasn't won't start just because they got a 30k shot of thatmo-whatchamacallit (like me).
Anybody who tries to start competing just because they suddenly have access to this avian prolly doesn't have the other resources to keep up. At best they will be able to break even with what was "normal" before.
I would be very surprised if either of you or ojes lost buz because of this.
(/Pssst....Hey BrandG...you still buying ABEC resources? I think I may have found a goodie backpack looking for an old carbine to make no decay....)

Was tested by a few on Lowca, Live. From what I understand you chose category and then choose resource by name.

Also interested in what the interface is like... If it is a list of all resource names, that is one thing. But if you have to type out the name, there could be typos. I wonder what it would do if you chose a name that didn't exist? I have long wondered if the name is really some sort of a hash of the galaxy, planet, and stats. If that is the case, you might be able to use a typo to create a stack of perfect avian. These are the things that keep me awake at night when I am away from home and can't get online...
