I'll keep my same price of 7-8K. People are used to paying me that much and since I, like the original poster, am not in this for greed I see no reason to increase my price.

My customers pay the same price and get the benefit of static buffs. I get paid and they get a great buff so everybody wins.

It is too hard to arrange prices outside your own server.

The economies are very different. Some servers have vast amout of loose credits, others fairly little.

Just a quick update. I buffed some guys with BF and so far high BF hasn't interfered with my buffs. (200 was the highest so far)

You can't fix prices...too many variables

Duration

Server economy

Status of resources

Buy or Make your buffs

Use of Bivoli and BE clothes

Same/Opposing faction

Location

Time of day

etc, etc...

I charge 1 credit per enhance point. They don't pay for crappy buffs, but if its a good buff I get decent money. It all works out and is fair.

That's true. A fixed range for the top buffers of say 12-15k should work out nicely. The docs with the special packs can charge 15K.

BTW, the customers love the high static buffs. Out of 37 potential customers today, only one walked away when i asked for 12k. Everyone else was very pleased.

Everyone wins with static buffs. GREAT going SOE. Bravo

I did a poll with each customer today.
I asked them if they find the prize okay or overcharged.
I'm on bria and use 870packs.
When I use bivoli I enhance @ 2.3k each stat. Most think 12000 is okay but would settle with 9000 credits and 2k buffs too. (Thats what I charge without bivoli)
Half think that the 200 points increase isn't worth the 3k more charge. Well all in all I will keep my prizes I think.

YES!!!

Finally Docs waking up and realizing their true worth. Even with randomness, an 850 pack is worth 10k. I never apologize for low buffs and always ask for 10k up front.

Even with docs asking 8K I still get biz and I'm happy to give it as my customers are to get it.

Maybe now we can unite and set a price. Lets talk about a fixed price between 12-15K for 800+ packs. I'll be using packs that are 877 base and have 3:40 duration. I think the resulting buff (2412) will be worth 15k. I'm using Bio-clothing and Bivoli.

As for players that can't afford these buffs, they can see a lower level Doc. Their missions won't require an uber buff. This will give all docs, regardless of level, a good chance at making money.

Let's stop giving our buffs away for cheap. Let's rally now!

No.

I will never be part of a price fixing scheme. I will not charge more just because others are greedy.

If a buff pack costs you 20k to buy but the same pack only costs me 10k, why should I charge the same as you?
