i am not getting a warm fuzzy feeling about the changes to our profession... NEGATIVE until further testing of changes.

The game is being ruined for all those folk. I can't imagine who the developers think will want to play the game as it appears in test.

Negative so far.


Some of the stuff is good, or at least I can see had good intentions. Others are just plain... wrong.


Biggest thing for me is the doctor profession. I don't have any other characters to know what the result is for other professions, but I liked the doctor profession pre-CU MUCH more than I do after.


Overall, I'd have to say that rather than opening up the game for more possibilities for us (which is what I had hoped the CU would do), the CU only has taken awayour ability to choose and mix and matchand forces us to do certain things in order to play. The exact opposite of how it should be. Even down to not giving us the ability to get rid of the combat special effects (which would be especially nice for those of us that lag during those times) or keep using the old icons for the hotkeys, which are things that really should not be that complicated for the devs to implement. The armor needing certain qualifications in order to wear, rather than a high penalty if we simply wanted to wear a specific type of armor for roleplaying purposes is another example.


Not to mention all the bugs that come with this, butthat happenswith any big change. I can put up with those so long as they are taken care of in a timely manner. But there are so many other things that are much bigger than those that were done seemingly intentionally, which I hope SOE and the devs realize don't work as good in reality as they appeared to on paper and fix as soon as they can.


So that's my summary evaluation of what I've seen so far: less choice.

Better in that bugs are being fixed, but my original problem with the CU that it limits your choices still stands. Still would like to see some more tweaks done to allow for more choice in skills and professions.
