Well as long as I'm logged in [happens once a week at most], I may as well put my vote down...

Negative, in a big way... this will be the final straw before I close my account if it goes through like it is now.

Looks like its going in live the way it currently is on TC.

Look at what they fixed in the latest patch. They still got guys working on the vendor search lol.

You would think, in a game as buggy as it is right now, they would have everyone fixing them. Not fixing things that dont need fixing.

I have alwyas been a doc and I welcome the changes in the CU.


Buffing lines of customers in startports never interrested me. I never did it by the way, only once or twice. And I did not become doc to just buff my friends before the battle. I did it cause I liked healing them, supporting them, rezing them etc...

unfortunately in the old system, when hunting in group, our abilities were quite useless. I was more a riflewoman on the field than a doc.

So I welcome the CU who will improve and make more important our role on the battlefield. You remember the good old time when no group would go anywhere like a POI without a doc cause of the fear of being killed and have to make all the way back again? That is gonna be the case again, especially since diying and loosing buffs does not mean you are out of battle. Rez is gonna be very useful. I just wish they had not given it also to CMs.


I regret though that all our cool medicines I did like to craft are gone, but I guess, what prevents me to take BE?

So overall I like it. It is more consistent with the idea I had of my profession andI won't be frustrated anymore by the unusefulness of my skills during combat.

Negative. I finally had a chance to try my current master Doctor master Swordsman template on test center. Reason: I want to be able to fight as I can now and craft medicines whatever they may be. However, with the added line of one armed requirement for swords and the scout/hunting requirement for BE its impossible. I also looked at making a BE of my alt Master Tailor Master Merchant and, though she can be a BE of the correct level, in order to survive in the wild she essentially has to drop all merchant skills and cant even qualify for the robo-vendor. I see no reason why both of my characters should suddenly be made completely unviable.I had such high hopes for the game when they hired the new developers and they changed the loot drops and were working on quests. I thought they finally had it all going in the right direction. But, they are simply destroying the game. The people who stayed in this game when everyone else went to WOW etc were the crafters and entertainers and creative types plus a nice contingent of bad boy uber fighters. The game is being ruined for all those folk. I can't imagine who the developers think will want to play the game as it appears in test.

Can you imagine how cool the original combat system would've been if they put the same amount of work and effort into it as they did the CU?

I have tried the test center and when i dont get a "client crash", its sucks.

After being a master doc since 10/2003 I think I'm probably going to be giving up doc and quitting SWG. Doc heals are sooooo useless. No point in wasting skill points on it as it stands now
