Dyes which you can give to a crafter to add a unique color to an object.

For example....let's say some plant has a sap that glows fluorescent green. A dye synthesized from this sap is the reward for a mission. You finish the mission, get the single dose of dye, and take it to a tailor. The tailor incorporates the dye into the final design for, say, uniform boots. Hey presto! Glowing green boots.

Uber items are nice, but they always come with the problem of having hundreds of people fighting over them, csr's gaving there time used up as people get cue jumped and a whole list of other problems which always occurs with them. So, having an uber item on a themepark of mission etc would be bad.

Schematics are good as others have said...but for a combat profession its a bit of getting the short straw, and something like the 25-30mission long Emporers themepark it would be a major let down. Although saying which part of the whole thing in doing that was meeting people, and getting some good story from them. A major RP element Special ornament as other have said would be nice...heck a flag or something of the Empire for the above themepark would be nice...and would look great in a house, and highly likely not to be traded as you can only do a themepark once

On the RP part of things, having ST armour is great, but sadly is utterly useless for RP as there you are busy doing something and bang, someone who just doesnt care storms in and kills you even with the rebels partaking in what your trying to do asking them not too. And the armour is too good to be allowed for covert use. So how about an RP version of it? no armour stats at all, but it looks like ST and can be worn covert?

I keep seeing Rebels with a ranking patch on them, why not give out those as rewards after the Rebel theampark? I think you would be a little higher than private if you help out Luke, Han, AND Liea

I just thought of a really good idea....

Make one of the rewards in a very HARD quest something like-

  • Special NPC (pet)with heavy armor and/or damage

  • A cool, fast, Vehicle would be great!

  • A certain NPC/Organizationthat watchs you and randomly comes and helps you, a mysteriousgunman or something.

Meh, I doubt this'll get read / noticed, but here's a few suggestions.

I've noticed the suggestions for Schematics, museum pieces, rare components, new abilities, etc

The problem with schematics and rare components is you need to either be a master of two professions (combat profession to complete the quest, and then a crafting profession to make the item) or find someone to give it to to make for you.

I think museum pieces, and new abilities work a little better, because it's "yours" and you don't need to find someone to share it with to "get the full effect".

However, how about some other interesting things. Maybe special faction perks... Free AT-ST for completing a special imperial quest. Maybe give rebel players a force sensitive pet for completing a particularly hard quest.

Maybe completing some quest would grant the player a new special permanen

sorry about the double post... dunno what happened... and I don't know why my post got cut in half

And, for the non-combat classes, how about give declared armor smiths a quest that allows them to gain Stormtrooper Armor schematics.

Maybe a quest for Droid Engineer that allows crafting of an AT-ST (yeah, I know they aren't droids, but where else would you put it?)

Or, a double-whammy. New weapon schematics that weaponsmiths can quest to unlock, and then the only way to gain certification in that would be to go on a quest that rewards certification with that weapon.

Maybe just quests that give the player a "ticket" for a one-time special event. Maybe all players who have completed a specific imperial quest within the past two weeks will be given a ticket to go on ANOTHER quest / raid, which would only take place once, at a certain time. If you miss the first quest, you can't participate in the second, and if you did the first, and miss the second quest, you have forever missed your opportunity.

Maybe one "Uber-quest" that can only be completed once. By one player per server. This quest could give some sort of super-loot, like Vader's helmet or something.

Another double... A special BH quest that, when completed, allows them to get a mission going after a "head honcho". Like a "Assassinate Luke Skywalker" kinda deal (This would be completable, but not by killing Luke... maybe just killing a couple high ranking rebel soldiers guarding Luke while he makes a getaway). And then, on the other side, after completing a rebel quest, players could be assigned to be Lukes bodyguards for a certain period). If the bounty hunter kills off the players assigned as the body guards, he wins... if the players kill offthe BH, they win.

or, special planets that the player can only get a shuttle ticket to after completing a quest.

Maybe "implants" could be added as quest-only rewards. Increased max runningspeed, increased regen speed, better overall accuracy

I'm sure a lot of these have been suggested already... but, meh

Anything that allows players to customize their characters, houses, and other belongings more than they already can will be met with approval unless it involves nerfing something else.

High-end components or large stacks of high-end resources would be good too (unlike the tiny resource stacks that we currently get in locked containers and such). Perhaps a single-use item that gives a crafter a 100% success chance on experimenting and assembly for one item (with no option given to make a schematic of it)?

1. A friggin Badge. I want Braging rights.

2. A trophy that is cool, not junk (ie: I loved the Marauder theme park . That armor is really cool. On the other hand I hated some of the rewards from the emperor's retreat: staves, broken flashlights, crappy weapons:smileymad. Furniture would also be cool.

3. Skill attachments: crafters can't make em, so whats the harm (maxpet levels +5)?

4. Unique clothes. Like the swoop helm from the emperor's retreat. That was really cool.

5. Mandalorian Armor for completing them all. I don't care about the stats. It would look really cool in my house.

6. Faction points. After blowing up my 300th large rebel base, this gets really old. I did like cries of Alderan Act II, that was awesome.

7. A conclusive end to some UNFINISHED theme parks: Darth vader tells you to talk to the emperor agin, and the emperor tells you the exact same thing he did when he sent you to Vader. I want closure.

8. MILK, MILK, and MORE MILK. Give us a Bovine theme park.

9. Rare baby creatures. Now that would be cool. A baby Bol Rock Crusher.

I don't know why I numbered these, they arn't in any order as to how much I want them, just some ideas. I realize some are more realistic than others. Thanks for asking us what we want.

Useless items that are better then the Worrt Cassarol =)

Give us something nice for the house or maybe some unique powerups for weapons

Possibly better clothing/armor attachments

Jedi stuff (because we know how nuts everyone is about that!) like the broken sabers, just, more and different items

Faction rewards (WORTH doing like in the 100's range) Not just imp/reb

Banners or flags, faction alligned (not just rebel or imperial) but all of them or at least the more popular ones, no one is going to want to put up a Meatlumps banner lol

Non wearable items (like atst helm)

Quest for specific professions (like the ris armor quest)... Quest for a unique pet, quest for a unique pistol, rifle, carbine, sword, and so on... Quest for the legondary weapon crafting tool... Earth and Beyond had a good idea with crafting, they put in override devices which let you get a bonus to crafting items (similar to tapes and attachemnts here) but make them parts you can INSTALL into a crafting tool to give it a SIGNIFIGANT boost... over 100% qual items

More unique loot to effect weapons similar to armor layers... Acid Ammo Cart for a scout blaster, weapon smith can use that to make an acid damage scout blaster, give some positive bonus and negitive bonus.

Finish a quest and get to watch a cut scene and get a badge maybe?

A great reward would be something that a crafter cannot design or produce, that looks unique, perhaps with a limited use depending on your char that could be pulled out or displayed that shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that you completed the quest and here is the reward. The big payoff for Jabba missions was a personal invitation to his bedroom-which was a very ill concieved idea-you risk your life for Jabba just so he could have an opportunity to deploy casting couch shenanigans for his "closest of friends". It turned Jabba into the manager at BAA-DA-BING in the Sopranos. People do quests and theme parks, not for the purple rank sash or broken datapads but for achievement. If upon completion a character obtains some pretty much useless glowing thing that can be shown off then they are happy and will do the quest just to get their own. Dungeons and quest items should in all actuality have nothing to do with the economy at all-take a lesson from real life where people push their bodies to limits to pocket some cash or a cheesy gold looking trophy to put on their mantel pieces. Or if carebear items aren't your style, how about an addendum to your bio, a t-shirt that says "I completed Jabba's missions and all I got was this lousy t-shirt". And by the way-why achieve rank if only you know about it? Why aren't ranks displayed (at least optionally) by your name????

Good post Jezebel, I played ac and did Gaerlan's and that was a great quest, all the items were pretty much useless but it showed everyone you completed it as well as the wonderful global message for the one who actually got the kill on Gaerlan. I did it over and over-originality is what we need in rewards.

1. Components used in crafting.

2. Unique skill tapes, based on the items or armor or weapons that were used the most during the quest.

3. New schematics.. kinda like the RIS armor.

4. New skills, available to masters of the class. Nothing that would "uberfy" a particular class, of course, but something that would just be neat to play around with.

Any of these would work for me, but 3 and 4 i think would be the best. It would help promote mastering classes, rather than merely dabbling for the ultimate affect (like CH and Flame IV), and could assist in the overall spread of profession percentages.

i have completed all the missions for jabba the hutt, the hutt guy in moenia, ALL the rebel storyline missions (leia, han solo, luke etc.) and all i got were some useless guns and **edit**ty cloathing... oh and holocron shards (joy...) I REALLY like the idea of getting Titles or badges for these achievments, titles particularly, cos then you can even more openly express that you have put in the hours and hours of questing for random npc's for no reason other than the recognition you deserve...
