Hey Devs....
1. I dont really understand why you divided players in groups to grant access...If its a question of server load?! upgrade the server...
2. I dont think its fair of u to divide the players into "access groups" we all pay the same amount to play this game and it shouldnt matter what proffs u have grinded or not once u are "glowing"...
3. I cant understand how the access granting is hologrinding dependant ?! They have been silent for a long time now and isnt a feature in the game anymore...
4. Atleast give us a time table when we group 1-4 get access. Coz i have no idea what group im in, never done hologrinding.
hope you take this and every other post regarding this matter seriusly coz we are probably majority.

KURT we need answers not riddles or Cryptic messages when is the Old man gonna visit. how can we tell what group we are in. is the last group going to have to wait days or months and what gives SOE the right to decide when we get the visit if we glow we qualify for the old man we have played by the rules so now can you play by the rules and give us what we have earned.
16 Profs Silent after 1st Holo YAY 7 Silent Profs 80+ Badges and only had strong Sense now added Nyms and I glow. But could have to wait until 2006 for Old man visit.
P.S We should not be charged for waiting on Old Man vist Because servers can handle the Load

Someone how has don all holos until they went silent should get after /check 'You have a strong sense of the Force within you' ....... not even one bit less .
u wanted to end the hologrind and still supporting grinders with giving more credit is rediculous.
the 4+4 change was rediculous as well ...... ohhh my god to many people unoocked so well have to change the requirements . changing the requirements is no big deal but people who started before that decisision shouldn't be affected by it .
give the ones who really played the game and not grinded the gamefun out of it much more profit then these ******** grinders .
and btw ........... descrbie the way for completly NON combat to get glow ...... that would be an interessting one .
warren badge , corvette badge , thempark badges ............ ure nuts .
comeon TH u should try the corvette ureself with ure cool SBD's when ure and master artisan and master armorsmith ..... give it a try and see the weakness of the 'end of grind'.
and more credit for the grinders is completly unacceptable .... havent they done enough to this game ??????? if u give them credit why have u changed the system ..... seems to be something that was wirth giving credit so why change it ?
everyone with a silent holo should have the exact same credit as someone who grinded 31 profs and still didn't unlock.
man and i though u couldn't piss the community more offf then u did with pub9 and the FRS

I dont usually get involved in these long, "public outcry" posts, but today I thought I would.
Way back in January I made the decision not to "grind" out Professions to get a Jedi. I wanted to play every profession, not just grind it and as my first Holo was Image Designer - which I ahve no intrest in- that was effectively that. Luckily, it was announced the way to get Jedi would be changed, to a more Quest driven system. Great!
Since then I have been playing the game.
Now, the new system is upon us. TO qualify for the new system you have to "Glow with the force" to get a visit from the old man, to send you on your quest. As ive been playing the game for 10 months, I am glowing. Great!
However, as I have only mastered 3 professions (with 4 and 5 probably going to be completed this week) I find out that I have been placed into "Group 4". Although I qualify for a visit, I have ti wait for it. THIS IS UNFAIR.
Why do the hologrinders get to go first? They ahve their compensation. I have no objection to this. My objection is this is the new system. Under the new system I qualify for a visit. I have as much right for an old man visit as any hologrinder does.
there are ALOT of people who are going to be doing these quests. The delay could be enourmouse. Are they going to keep the village at Phase 1 until the people who are "in groups" have got there? Or are they going to keep to the three week scedule? If so I really wont be happy!

Hi all,
Got some questions. Plz let me understand. After the server shutdown i logged in, /check an i was a sourge. So i went to Nym. Made the ThemePark, /check, i'm an inner glow now. Does it means that i used the new method to unlock the Force right? How long should i wait for a visit by the old man?
I mastered 1 profession from the holocube... is it usefull?
And a little question... Is the Old Man an NPC? Or a Player? If it is an NPC... If he comes when i'm AFK? Or while i'm kicking some Super Battle Droid's ass?
Plz try to let me understand

TH, do you know how long us non-super holo grinders will have to wait before they can go into the village, because myself i know i done a few holo's, and have done 12 proffesions, it wouldnt make any difference to grind more professions now to get another holo to get in the group above me would it?

In january, I made the decision that I wasent going to grind to get a Jedi. I wanted to play the game, enjoy it. I refused to grind any professions. In additon to that it was revealed the path woul change to a quest based method. Great!
So, I played the game.
Nine months later, and the new system is here. To start your "quests" you must "glow with the force". As i've been playing the game, I logged on pathc day to find myself glowing. Fantastic!
However, I have now found out that as I have only mastered 3 professions (I was a carbineer a LONG time) with 4 and 5 due this week, I have been placed into Group 4, to get a visit. THIS IS UNFAIR.
This is the NEW SYSTEM. To qualify for the new system, I must glow. I glow.... SO how come a Hologrinder has priority over me. They have their compensation in the form of free unlocks. Why the head start as well?
Surely it would be better to send the Hologrinders in later, cos to them the phase dosent matter as much. With being in group 4, who know how long i'll have to wait? Are they going to keep the Village at phase1 until all groups have vbeen visited? If not, then its EVEN MORE of a kick in the teeth.

I dont know the exact levels but your there. You will qualify for a visit from the old man depending on what group you are...TH first post explains the group system.
