I would like to see Faction point rewards, or bonus Experince based on Class. That and or a lot fo money so that we can buy the stuff from quality crafters.

1) Agree with making crafting integral and important, but you really can accomodate both crafters and nice loot drops. There are many good ideas in here on how to do this. I would reinforce that you MUST do this. If I can buy everything I need from crafters, my character is maxed out and I have plenty of money - what incentive do I have to go kill anything??? In four months of playing I have looted Not One Single Useful Item. Given that, I'm actually shocked I'm still playing. The balance is untenable at the moment.

2) The home decorations (paintings etc) are a good idea, but for this to be effective you need to make home decorating much easier and more flexible. Turn clipping back on - allow us to decorate at different heights without having a staircase. Getting a bunch of cool collectibles is pretty meaningless to me - right now they just sit in a big pile on my floor. How about a curio cabinet to show off the odds, ends, trophies and badges?

3) How about custom paints, dyes or enamels? I'd love to be able to give my Wookie a bright purple hood rather than being stuck with the pitifully drab colors we have now. It's OK with me if it takes a tailor to apply the dye. How about house paints - applied by an architect? Or interior paints applied by an ID? Anything to allow players to differentiate themselves or their possessions is of interest - just like in RL.

I'd have to agree with what has been stated:

- decorative items like the grunda painting and the bantha statue: as a concrete idea, I'm really not sure just how doable this is, but I'd *love* to have a mirror in my house. More paintings, or any of the statues that stand around in various NPC guild halls would be great as well.

- skill tapes: ever since the drop rate on these was nerfed, they've been pretty much nonexistant, at least on soloable/duoable mobs.

- item components, such as krayt tissues, kimo scales etc. Still requires an artisan to assemble the components into something useful.

- the faction disks that can be gathered and turned in for rewards are a decent idea, but at the moment, the cash reward for them is very low, and no faction points are granted for turning them in, so doing those mini quests is essentially pointless.

I don't like the idea of home decorative items . Who will know if you achieve them? No one, unless they passed your house.

I agree that the rewards for quest should be better and I don't want craftrs to out of buisness because of reward items, but how about putting items like the Nightsister Crystals, or Force Orbs, or Kryat Dragon Pearls, or something like that? It could be something that isn't craftable and is really a showpiece for in a house or something like that.

Rewards should be unique, not 1 unit of copper, 1 CDEF pistol and 235 credits. Make them a reflection of what you have accomplished without unbalancing the game.

I like alot of the ideas here and would just like to add my support for a few...

Schematics... I would love to see some armor and weapon schematics that would be much beter then what we have now. IE.. Much more powerful weps or some realy cool looking armor... Like Mandalorian... but not that cause I don't think everyone should be running around in it. I realy would like to customize myself a bit but it is hard since everyone can get the same old crap.

Badges... I am a badge hunter (planning to get as many as I can)...

Things to place in a house or PA hall... IE.. paintings and statues. and I don't mean that crappy statue I saw on a vendor the other day that looked like a quilted stuffed animal. ( and while we are at it could we have a way to hang stuff on the walls without puting it on the stairs and then moving it accross the room... that gets real old, and it's not always possable to put stuff where you realy wanted it).

How about system wide messages... IE.. when you complete a specific quest, everyone on the server gets to see your name and that you completed such and such...

I have some more but I'm tired right now so I will try to post more later.

Holocrons, Holocrons, and more Holocrons.... That should be the ultimate reward..

Not like I'm ever going to beat a dungeon let alone get near one or have any thing relative to do with it, but I'm one who believes in a good reward for doing the impossible or the possible with powers.

The rewards should be in relation to the character's class. Yet that's too lame.

Why not something novelty like fake bantha poodoo or something practical like a jukebox that plays starwars music like in some of the guilds and themeparks.

Heck maybe even a bacta tank or something useful for EVERYONE. Like a toilet that lets you heal battle fatigue and depletes the food and drink meters. That would help out many people, (no matter how stupid that sounds) and you now maybe something like a momento item like an ancient statue of some sort.

The schematic idea sounds good too. Light sabers are boring, and Mandalorian Armor will be exploited to hell.

How about Hair dye? I always wanted my hair Blue.

You can keep your items. Class based XP would do it for me (i.e. Hunting XP for a scout releated quest).

i like the "EPIC" side of everquest that you do a multi quested thing to get great gear. I think if you made it like that but made it suitable to your starting profession that would be sweet

Here are some random ideas that i just thought of =)

Scout : have a utility belt kind of item that has increased masked scent or foraging or camping,

Marksman : have a ammo belt or gun case that gives increased accuarcy or sniper stealth.

Artisan : have a hammer or toolbox that gives overall increased experimentation stats.

Entertainer : have a golden microphone or instrument that increases buffs or makes healing extremly faster.

Medic : make a sterile medic set that increases medicine use or healing speed or they dont have to be in a hospitol or have a med modded droid to heal people/pets.

Have increases no less then like +30 to make it worth going after and make the quests profession related like.....

Scout : have them have to scout and report landmarks or creatures to a scout trainer that wants to move to an area or have them go to a "new" cave and have them investigate the creatures that live there and then report it to a mayor or some city person so they can anounce it to the "public" that a new cave has been found on so and so planet with so and so creatures.

Artisan : have them make a special object like a ship schematic for both rebels and imperials that they need to get parts from all over the known corellian system that could take no less then a weeks worth of game play to make. Could have them do mini quests to get certain parts.

Entertainer : have them have to please a certain crowd of people that arent easly pleased.

Medic : have them preform a surgery on a patient that will either live or die depending on the medic's skills

I cant think of one for a marksman that would need his/her skills =)

All the quest should take no less then like a week or so of game play to make it far to all the players and make it none tradeable so other people cant buy them. And make them so if a novice wants to try they can but dont have the "best" stat increasement as a master would. And dont have them vanish if said profession needs to be dropped.

How about maybe a badge for completion of the theme parks. Jabba's was a joke. spening hours and hours doing those missions so I can see an EMPTY bedroom. the way I see it that is BROKEN. I think a Badge would be the best way to get something out of the quest. Maybe even a little cash. But if you have players who spend the time doing those boring "run to WP, Get ambushed, Run back to WP" quests at least let us show the rest of the gaming world we are insane enough to do them I mean c'mon a Heavy Weapon stack for completing the Jabba TP that aint worth selling and Most players can't use

Rewards, love em, i did the Jabba missions, did the rebel theme park stuff on all four planets, great stuff, fun loot, gifts for friends, things to toss at AT-ST's and make them go boom, cool, you want something good to drop at the end? fine.....quests are a one shot deal, you do it its done , you cant do it again, no farming, end the slaying of the poor innocent Krayt dragons, ( hehe) some day i will help to kill one *shrug*. any reward you add to the game is gonna increase the desire for what ever the item is, keep it simple, you got one, you cant hold another, you got something made from one, you cant hold another, you cant farm it....it becomes worth more to the person who gets it, and, it doesnt always drop, and if someone in the group has more then a passing knowledge of the item, ie. has one on them, or has something as a result of whatever drops, it wont drop then either, make the really good stuff un-farmable and you will make me happy, i get tired of seeing the same group of people heading out for another night of "who's Krayt is it anyway", not that i am complaining mind you, this is supposed to be positive feedback to enhance the game for everyone. so things i would like to see?

drops that are race specific, I am a wookie, i have no use for clothing, maybe a nice comb, or a brush, but stop giving me clothing )

drops that are class usable, i am not a commando, or a bounty hunter, what do i want with grenades and LLC's, flame throwers and acid rifles, )

how about a special resource to be used in the construction of a class specific weapon?

a time limited ( and quantity limited ) resource map for those wonderful surveyors out there.

Flags, I am a ranger, i have flags and banners hanging from my tents, but why cant i fly flags that show my conquests? or have award ribbons to tie to those flags?

I have done a couple of the badge quests as well, but who knows i did it? unless someone walks up to my char. and examines me, they will never know unless i spend all my days telling people what i did, would need to add a storyteller skill tree then )

regardless, i dont care what exactly is added, i just would like to know by looking at someone that they are not just an imperial killing machine with 1000's of faction points, but also if they are involved in the developement of their character as a part of a "hopefully" living universe. dont give me Doom, or Quake, keep Diablo, and leave the almighty "i'm more Uber then you" EQ out of this game, maintain the standards of characters being better crafters then AI's, and keep us fighting for our lives against the oppressive emporer. or for you Imps out there, the rebel horde )

sorry this was sooooo long, lol, may the force be with you )
