Thread: Friday Feature March 19th Wookiee Armor Concept Art
Firstly I'd like to say, Don't listen to most of the Morons that have replied to this post. They probably don't realize it's "Concept Art", not "Real game art". I am a master armorsmith and I'n my view this armor looks to be right in line with the current "Bone" armor, and infact when i am looking at the poster I have on my wallof the concrpt art that came with the strategy guide and I aslo browsed through my collectors edition game box book. It fit's right in.Great work here you guys, Hopefully it's gonna be a armorsmith crafted item and not a wookie crafted item, because i can't wait to start mass producing.
NOW PLEASE FIX THE SHIFTING STAT BUG BEFORE YOU IMPLIMENT THIS NEW ARMOR.

Just remember, you guys begged, yelled, screamed, and sold your first born for this.
You better take it and say thank you - as DE's have learned, if they are willing to give you something, take it - because you may end up with not much at all if you don't.
Audio
Most concept art looks dorky when you compare it to the final product. That's why it's concept art. The drunken marionette pose is by design to show as much of the armor as possible in a single image.
What the image conveys is all that matters, the details will change. The wicker look comes largely from the twigs sticking out (which are probably not worth the trouble to model) and the color (which will hopefully be customizable). This just gives the concept, which is:
- It has the feel of metal plates supported by organics
- It has everything but boots
- It covers nearly the entire upper body, but is more open below the waist
Wait to see the in-game model before dismissing it as stupid looking, because it's not going to look like the concept art.
Just please tell me this first armor will at least have higher resists than a good PSG (and not have shifting stats). I'm thrilled to hear there will be more armors added, but we need something decent to start off with.

I am presuming that this pictured armouris the equal of ubese armour, with high kenetic special,
And as for the other types i will presume that they are more technical and will require better stuff to make, and hence be better/stronger armour.
Would have liked some stats, even if rough.

I'm glad to see it coming though, and I'll definitely try it out so that I can see how the other 98% live. If it's colorable, we'll be able to make it look decent no matter what(remember when they borked the color of composite? THAT was ugly).Glad to see the Wooks get some lovin'.

...one would hope that there will be more than one type of Wookiee armor. While this "traditional" design is the first to appear, hopefully a version more in-line with the other armor (and weapons) in the galaxy will be soon to follow.

I use to say this about the wookie armor in development, "I don't care what it looks like, just give me armor." The devs metaphorically handed me, a MHS wookiee, an armoredred dress for combat....but I'll wear it and pretend to like it until something nicer comes out.....its armor damnit!!!!

Wookies are normally bigger than Chewie and covered in armor (like Chewie's figure from Shadow of the Empire).
