Player Bounties

This is the weapon of a Jedi Knight. Not as clumsy or as random as a blaster. An elegant weapon for a more civilized time. For over a thousand generations the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Before the dark times, before the Empire.

I just realized something. Look at the picture again. Now, imagine it with proper biceps and not those pencil-thin ones that make me look like a bodybuilder.

I think you need a buffer wookie to pose your armor. That spindly arm, by itself, makes this picture look a bit funny.

Or have I not noticed and most wookies, (an arborial race, read tree-climbing, read retractible claws in their hands to CLIMB TREES, to PULL THEIR WEIGHT UP TREES BY THEIR ARMS,) are this scrawny above the waist?

http://www.starwars.com/databank/species/wookiee/index.html
Shaggy giants from an arboreal world, the tall and commanding Wookiee species is an impressive sight to even the most jaded spacer. Despite their fearsome and savage countenance, Wookiees are intelligent, sophisticated, loyal and trusting…

http://www.starwars.com/databank/species/wookiee/?id=eu
... Though Wookiees do have a primitive appearance, they are quite comfortable with advanced technology. They can repair and maintain modern starships. They have developed a unique projectile weapon called a bowcaster. The Wookiee city of Thikkiiana was one of the key manufacturers of sophisticated computer componentry in the New Republic...

You guys act like Wooks are primitives, everything I have read about Wooks suggest they are everything except primitive. There is nothing highly intelegent, and technical about that armor. Sorry... when I think for Chewey geared up for battle... I do not think of that armor. That armor makes me die of laughter.

Ewok armor, yes.... Wook armor, no.

Thanks devs, for continuing to feed us new things every few weeks. Assuming the new armorcomes incustomizable colors for player individualization, I think it'll work out well. And thanks for taking the time to work with LucasFilm on new art concept ideas like this -- that lends a more cannonical feel to the game. Thanks!

Can I get the same stuff for my new mounted bantha? It'd really make him look cool.

How about stats? Any idea what defenses they'll have, etc?

I tried to get that info for the Feature, but they are still being worked out by the devlopers. I can tell you that this will not be the strongest armor because we intend to add more in the future. I'm guessing we'll release those next week.

I hope it's not that strong at all....wookies do get increased stats, you know...

justG - When I am trying to go to sleep, and I am tossing and turning at night, the things that keep me up at night are combat, and jedi, and spaceflight, and things like that. Let me tell you this, we absolutely LOVE our jobs. And we LOVE this game. We are dedicated to doing whatever we can to enhance your play experience. And it usually only takes one fan's blood to drift off...

This HAS to be some sort of cruel joke. Uhm, Devs, it's not April yet.

Ok, we get this crappy armor soon. Let me guess. Us Wookiees will have to wait

About 12 more months for the useful stuff to come out?

...Bah, yet another slap in the face of all Wookiees.

Have to say that I am now quite pleased to be a rodian. I thought bone armour looked bad, but I think you have surpassed yourselves with this new wookie armour.

P.S. I think more effort went into making the kitten in a paper bag photo than this!

Thats so cool but will we be able to have different colors to like match our fur and will it have Vulnerability to Flame since it looks to be Wooden. Oh and if you make some new ones make a stone/steel one that could make up for our HAM "bonus" because it would take alot to wear a full suit of stone.

As drawn, I'm not crazy about it. However, I think it has potential for when it fully developed and placed in the game. I'm thinking the Wookiee in the picture is kind of scrawny, and this armor on a full sized, more muscularwookiee will look significantly better.
