I like it. It has a nice blend of organic and synthetic and comes off looking very "Wookieeish". Now I'll just need to start saving up to get my own set.

If this is the equivalent of Bone armor, does that mean a starting smith can make it? It wouldn't make sense to have to be a master to make wookie bone armor. ATM I am 3304 in armorsmith so I was just curious. Especially since you don't even have to be an armorsmith to make bone armor.

People are rather hypocritcal though as most combat players would wear a clown suit if it offered 80%+ resists to damage.

You're absolutely right.

Composite armor is about as boring as it gets, but that's all anybody ever bothers to wear if they're PVPing. How much Tantel or Mabari do you see people wearing? Both of those have some interesting pieces, but nobody will wear them because they value high resists over style. Same as with clothing - they want stuff you can cram combat-related BE enhancements into, not something that necessarily looks good.

It amazing how much childish whining goes on in these forums. If you don't like how something looks orwhat stats it might have, offer constructive alternatives. Don't just point and laugh.

I like the armor. I think it fits very nicely into the Star Wars theme. I think Wooks would use something like this since they revere nature even though they are more than technically adept. If this is the equivalent of bone it makes sense that armor will only get more complex and modern looking as you advance up the stats tree. Additionally, I think it should be a racial schematic as well, just like the bowcaster.

This will do if it comes out looking like samurai armor, more defined of course, allow us to have 2 colors on the armor so its much easier to make it look like samurai armor. That given this being our first and probably weakest armor, if it looks like samurai armor it will be great, but it must be allowed to have 2 colors to looks right. I don't care if you just copy plain old samurai armor it will look ok.

OMG I laught so hard!

Well trying to be constructive :

  • The idea of organic armor is interesting but it needs some metal layers.

  • For an Ewok this armor would be awesome and that's why it is funny. It makes the Wookie looks like abig Ewok.

  • The design is a bit too round, it needs some sharp angles. The wookies aren't puppets they are wild (civilized) creatures. There is a need to preserve the wild look of the wookie.

  • The white part on the arms looks too thin or too big, there is a disproportion in it.

  • The forearm part is too big regardin the other part of the arm.

  • The legs looks pretty cool.

  • This armor emulates a Samurai one and is good at it.

Can't wait to see wookies in this
