K,in accordance to all Post...In 7388 NS,42 Crystal Drops!
We r talking about a rate of drop,1 Crystal in every 175-6 NS....And that crystal might be Color and NOT,power!
I did 32 Profs so i will be a Crystal Hunter,or a Jedi?Remind me Plz!

300+ NS Initiates = zero crystals
100+ NS Rangers = zero cyrstals
50+ NS Sentinels = zero crystals
1 NS Elder = ran for my life after 5 mins
Between this effort and the one to find and kill the high end mobs for the Knight Trials (which I still can't complete), the decay on the low damage crystals in the saber is significant enough that I'm done with this experiment. Please post a message if you insert a new process to acquire these, or increase the drop rates, or intervene with regard to completing the Knight Trials. I'm interested in testing and reporting results for you, but this "crash test dummy" is exhausted from hitting the wall for over 30 hours and no feeling of success in loot drops or knight trials.

Arjun, I've tried to be excited about the revamp and the improvements. Some of it is great (Defenses, TEF removal so we can hunt without TEF poaching griefers, and some nice newvisual effects), butnow that Ihave seen:
- a robe that hasa fixed color scheme (why can't we have a color palette to change it like composite armor has)
- our skillsspread across trees so thin we have no chance of being self sufficient at any level

- force power that is drained faster than before despite an increase in the pool

I've tried to maintain a voice of calm and reason, and I read more than I post. I think we need to beg them now to just not do anything to our profession. Obviously we are not heading toward any improvement and we'd be better off if they just left us alone.

Instanced dungeon, with spawning force crystal hunters/jedi etc, or force hungry mobs. You have to battle the foe and then /attune to find a crystal in the cave.
At least this gives jedi a way to find crystals on their own. Lower level jedi would get a lower level instanced dungeon.

I don't believe the crystal "values" match the stats.
Nightsister elder, "Premium" crystal:
41dmg
-0.3 spd
3 wound
-2 force cost
Those are approximate, as I stopped playing TC2 when trying to complete the trials for non-existant creatures, and everyone & their mom was invited to test MBH.

Tonight I went hunting for dmg crystals sense mine became bugged with the saber dmg patch.
So far:
30 singing nightsister clan slaves 0
40 nightsister rangers 0
75 nightsister outcasts 0
With the decay rate and the unability to repair crystals the drop rate is way way way too low. I still think there should be an instant dungeon/quest/cave etc for jedi to gather crystals. A jedi cna spend days hutning killign every think standing and get no crystals, and at the same time very vulnerable to attack. Yes jedi is not supposed ot be easy, but I dont remeber hearing of luke killing tuskens or womprats to make his saber. Just my 2 cents

Well I just finished up a session on TC2 using my MBH (didn't unlock my jedi in time for the copies) to check TC2 drop rates vs what we have seen on live.
On live I killed 150 assorted Nightsister NPCs and got zero, zilch, nada, nothing, zip as far a crystals.
Tonight I killed about the same 150 count of Nightsister NPCs on TC2 and got zero, zilch, nada, nothing, zip as far as crystals.
I did get however the following.
Assorted "Cries of Alderan I, II" pieces of garbage for an event that has been over for close to 5 months
4 Nightsister Lances.. 3 of which are so weak that no novice pikeman would probably use them anyways
20 Nightsister armor shards ( the weak 10/10/10 ones)
5 Heavy leather pieces
3 Heavy clasps
Some assorted clothing pieces for some reason, someone thinks that I need some dress shoes to go with the full crappy 30% resist RIS armor. The head piece was exquisite but didn't go with the dull grey motif I was going for.
And of course a few credits here and there along the way to pay for the shuttle trip back.
If this is an "improved" drop rate on TC2 compared to Live I'm not seeing it. In fact it looks deceptively like exactly what is on live servers now.

100 night sisters = 1 crystal
met 2 others hunting night sisters. They had done about 50 each and no crystals each.

While looking for an NS elder I killed:
23 various NS and got 1 crystal off a Spell weaver
Its stats were:
Dam 46
spd -0.33
FC -8
Dont think I have jedi luck, its just natural
Having trouble finding the mobs that drop colour crystals, they are very specific, 'one per camp' types I think, killed a group of Alkhara but think thier boss was a captain or some such, not a champion, roamed Yavin for an hour but did not find an Hut Expedition (maybe looking in wrong spot I'm not familiar with Yavin). Also they tend to be lower level so (presuming that stats on colour crystals are intended) they will have lower stats (which also may be intended).

On the 14th, killed another 100 or so canyon corsairs on Lok (all ranges of types, up to yellow cons as a working-on-knight-trial Jedi). Zero crystals of any kind.
Also killed around 50 marooned pirates of the various flavors. No crystals of any type.
Also cleared the droid engineers cave POI, no crystals of any type.

This morning I killed about 250 NS ( Ranger, Outcast, Stalkers, Spellweavers, Sentinals, Initiates, Protectors) and in total I got 5 crystals.. 1 color and 4 damage.. of the 4 damage, 3 were damage range 2-10, and 1 was Damage 39... BUT, the damage 39 one was Speed -0.04 and FPC -3, which makes it rather useless.. Since the last rollback, I have gotten approximatly 12 Damage crystals, sofar none of them would be what I consider usable, as all except the damage 39 one I got today, they were all Damage 10 or less, with 90% of them being damage 5 or under...
I agree with a previous post that says the listed quality does nto compare to the actual quality of the crystal, as I have had high rated crystals that came out Damage 5 or under with low FPC..
Lozza the Nekkid Jedi on TC2... Why wear the cookie cutter robe when it does nothing for you....
