Issue 1: Weapon repairs are still broken and results are still unsatisfactory, even for master WS (as reported months ago by our WS correspondent)

Issue 2: The berserker rifle cannot be crafted at the moment due to the missing serial on the stabilization component. (I am wondering why this is not in the list since it was also reported at least a week ago by the WS correspondent)

well,


one of the best changes for jedis in publish 9 was the removing of the TEF for PvE jedis.


most other changes were kinda reductions in powers and even cutting there total skill boxes lower from 3 masters to 2,5.


in new system the high jedis who wish to pvp get at knight perma overt!!! is that not enough?


a normal jedi TEF should definatelyNOT coming back, its just a possebility for griefers who hunt jedi for their own fun and satisfaction. period


IF someone hates jedi so much (sadly many do and i dunno why actually / jedis are way more star warsy then all that overpowered mellees or CMs) then he/she should just pick BH skills and get missions to hunt jedi. for that we got the BH systeam with visebility and all that. period


if some idiots play their jedis with saber and robes and duels in starports then they get visebility!!! aka BH missions on them, that solves the problem or at least should.


so i see really no reason for a normal jedi TEF. it only destroys the fun for low lvl jedi and gives just griefing an open field.

other real problem:


i had moved factories from talus to dantooine and it were 5 total, all had same maintain in it (like 80 days)

after i set them down i lost some days later 2 of them due to "no maintainance in it" aka the rotted.

i sent a ticket and that sorry for the word "silly' CSRs responded just they can help in things like that. (no surprise to me tho)

BUT its notacceptable. in fact i am sure that factories lost while redeed process their maintanance in them. i got no other possible explanation. this happened on intrepid server.

At least tell us WHY you (the devs) added a weapon switch timer!?


Seriously, is there one in Quake? Were we just having too much fun? Were we too leet?


Tell us the reason, not just that it was simply added.


It does nothing but piss of the CUSTOMER.


I can switch weapons IRL faster than my toon. (Im always armed to the teeth irl)


Really arent there about 37 professions with like 4,623 issues combined and someone at SOE said, "hmm, games running pretty smooth, lets add a weapon timer, my schedules free today..."


WHO at SOE has time to do this crap! Even if it WAS a justified and needed change! Isn't that like number 4,624 on the list of things to do!??

Do you really think Stormtroopers should take kindly to the sheer number of weapons that are openly displayed in a starport on a regular basis, not to mention the fighting that goes on in them? All by non-Jedi.


Remember who we are dealing with in the DEV's. Be careful what you ask for, they will gladly nerf everyone and everything.

Black Sun are confirmed on every server to not be dropping BH armor on Yavin IV anymore. Normally you could kill around 20 of them and at least get 2-3 pieces of armor, but since Publish 9 has been released I have killed more than 100 and have gotten nothing but locked containers, credits and some disks.

17) Jedi TEF’s: We are reassessing this change now.

damn right. reassess the hell out of it. remove lightsaber resists from psgs. increase the protection on robes... but PUT BACK THE LIGHTSABER TEF.

you've created a situation now where a jedi can realistically obtain a decent chunk of XP towards knight in a single day. the XP loss associated with death is a joke, and is nowhere near a deterrant. either put the lightsaber tef back in the game, and force jedi to fight in seclusion, or remove jedi bounties and remove XP loss, because it will be a lost cause and only a source of grief.

i mean at least before the sides could police each other... now nothing can be done.

There is a delay when not in combat, so a real pain in the ass.


Aslo, While ona mount or swoop say you can equip with no delay

Junk Dealers and Loot Kits: We are looking to increase the frequency and types of mobs that drop the loot lit items soon.


the junk dealer chat is a real head scratcher doesnt really make sense, needs re-wording

0/0 Items: For the most part, this is not an issue.If an item is appearing as 0/0, its condition is correct, except in the case of Ubese shirts.If you have any specific examples, please post them in this thread.There was some discussion of brand new items being 0/0, but we have no in house examples and could not reproduce it in QA.If you have any information, please post it.


Armour belts also have no damage and appearRED. Also pulling out a shield genfrom a crate and it appeared RED. logging corrected this though.


It could be an issue of 0 and null in the code somehwere, the new feature needs to distiguish between the two, should be asimple fix for the coders.



Personal Shield Generators: There are reports on the forums about being resistant to lightsabers.This is incorrect.If you find information to the contrary, please post it.


IF you pull them out of a cratethe do have resist to LS, and if slcied increased value. This are crafted before publish. And they do seem to work as well.


Logging losses the resist.


Jedi - Multiple Death and XP: There are reports of confusion with Jedi experience loss on multiple deaths. If you have information on how to reproduce this problem, please post it here in this thread.


The XP loss for jedi of 200k is very harsh for lower level Jedi, it should reflect there level



12) Jedi Robes not providing enough protection


I have seen known Jedi go round PVPing with normal profesions so they can wear their armour. Resistance was promissed and should be included.


Its level of resist should vary on craft and what level jedi you are




when we can put this back the way it was, we will.


Smuglers really seem to have a hard time of it, with Nerfs, revamp delays, bugs.


We’ve got some hard data and we’re looking forward to making some changes to improve this soon.


Its been getting worse since the "hardware upgrade" there wasa period of really smotth gameplay, then some hotfixes and since its just got worse.


Also to note that now and again at the imperial outpost and smuglers outpost the starport shuttle goes throught the baording platform onto the ground.


This happens on lok and dath as well


It was changed to accommodate the Jedi TEF Changes.


People have found a way to log off and log back on covertsince publish


More regular people are traveling and appearing overt when covert


Can you change the way you view people form a distance. you hover your mouse over and you get there rebel or imp sign so youyou pause for a sec thinking overt?





Its nice that jedi haveno teff at early levels, its good that they can hunt withought being attacked bypeople. Yet having htme wander around citis isnt in keeping, The solution would be to adapt thecovert scannerswithen cities so that jedi using force skills in these locations would obtaina teff, or in certain cities get an instant teff so theywill avod these all together, sayin pure imperial cities.

This is an important issue.I’ve received a bunch of reports but there is no data on this side.If you are still seeing this, please let me know.


This is hapening, no warning and hosues/exractors just vanish, i myslef lost a cemical extractor.


Houses, people transfer houses to someone to recreate their character (this is done as its a pain to empty a large house say and find locations to store items) and the with their new house transfer back. These then vanish possible as a result of items belonging to a dead character deleting.



27) Vehicle exitwarping was terrible yesterday, so was server boundary warping.



There are a few warping issues:


Swooping and jumping back 200m to cover the same ditance over and over


Dismounting and flying back as much as 600m away now.


Creatures about to die warping 500+m away, even in the air too.


28) Broken Hermit Quest



Reported Problems:



  • If a player completed some of the quests prior to the publish, then they cannot get all of the pieces of the reward (The 5 pieces of the hero’s sphere).

  • Pirate Leader not “conversing”
Ok to have these issues, but the biggest is the spawning 90% of peole can spend all day looking for any of them without any luck, talks of the spanws walking off could mean they could be cliped in house, ont he edge of the map, and near impossible to find, and therefore not re-spawning ina sencible location because they are not found. the need to stay put and more frequant









Very bad, even if you 200m away fro a group member it could say out of range. Players name change to planets, multiple displays of the same name, pets change to player names


Also a note the NEAREST mission arrow doesnt show up much since publish 9 and if it does can show nearest mission to be 2k away when in fact its 500m away, this is showing the wrong mission

Clipping withen the game is very bad of late.


Players:


Everyone that has issues take screenshots and put them on lcoations liek imagedump. The when you report an issue note you have an image, post links to them in the threads and in csr tickets, then if they cannot recreate the issue they will know for a fact that it exists.

Good point, except for the fact that droids STILL dont work. Now we also have the issue of jedis that dont have a bounty tef when we do find them. So chance of finding jedi = super slim. Chance of fighting jedi = non existant.


After 6 months one would hope this would get fixed. Maybe the complaining will stop when these missions actually work.


(BTW did everyone know people are still haveing bh mission problems after 1 year?) shouldnt that be on the list. A key element of a class getting xp does not work properly after 1 year...invisible, hidden, unattackable marks..wow.

I don't have an "issue" to report but I just wanted to say thanks for bringing that up with them! The current delay is quite an annoyance.

Spoken like someone who does not know what a real cantina is. There were probably 20 players active in that cantina, and they did not jump the jedi for a couple of reasons.


First of all, your jedi tef did not work on neutrals - scratch a lot of the people, myself included, from possible jedi killers.


Then, jedis are usually buffed, at the time were armored to the gills with top notch composite, and hard to kill. Not many will just attack a jedi when it will only take a few swings to kill them. And if you stick around long enough so that a squad can gather, armor and buff up and kill you you deserve death. When you made your jedi, back then, you signed up for BHs, and tefs and all. Too bad whiners got rid of this.
