Issue: Skill Attachments not stacking/sticking multiple mods/containing mods no longer used

Server: All

Planet: All

Location (x,y): Anywhere

Your profession: Does it really matter? TKA/Rifleman/Etc

Instructions on how to recreate the bug:
1) Place a skill attachment with 2-3 mods on a piece of socketed clothing. Only one will stick to the clothing and the other one poofs!

2) Loot a skill attachment, notice it will most likely have a mod for a skill that was removed back in beta, over one year ago

3) Put a +1 attachment in piece of clothing, then put another similar mod attachment in the same piece of clothing, let's say it's another +1. The outcome should be +2, right? Wrong, the attachment poofs and you're still stuck with +1

Can a dev please respond and explain why attachments are still like this? It's been a year. Is it really that hard to remove the unused skills from the loot table? If you can't fix the stacking and multiple mod issues (which doesn't seem that hard), can you at least take the uselss mods out so when we do loot attachments, we have a better chance of having something a little most worth our time?

6) 0/0 Items: For the most part, this is not an issue. If an item is appearing as 0/0, its condition is correct, except in the case of Ubese shirts. If you have any specific examples, please post them in this thread. There was some discussion of brand new items being 0/0, but we have no in house examples and could not reproduce it in QA. If you have any information, please post it


I have a newbie mineral survey device that is red in my backpack, I have novice artisan, and I can use it to survey.



9) Jedi - Multiple Death and XP: There are reports of confusion with Jedi experience loss on multiple deaths. If you have information on how to reproduce this problem, please post it here in this thread.


Jedi death EXP isnt balanced, a Jedi with LS 2/0/4/4 shouldnt have the same penalty as a jedi with Master LS, Master Defense, 4/4/0/0 healing, the jedi with all the skill points spent are capable of generating alot more exp per hour then the 2/0/4/4 LS



12) Jedi Robes not providing enough protection
Lingering Jedi Issue – we are discussing the possibilities.


Take a Jedi to Endor, go fight a blurg, you will see what I mean, reports of Jedi in the correllian Corvette are getting chewed up as well.


15) Dantooine Lag: This is a top priority item and we’ve done some logging on TC2 and something is causing it to slow down a bit. We’ve got some hard data and we’re looking forward to making some changes to improve this soon.


TC2 Lag may be bad, but please track this on a live server, day 1 after the hardware upgrade for dant, the lag on "Eclipse" hasnt changed, its almost like we didnt get any upgrade.

Also, it also seems the lag only starts to occur about 20-30 minutes after you been around.

Master Elite Prof 3,891,000 exp / 4200 exp = 926 Rancors for Master Elite anything
Master LightSaber 15,280,000 exp / 1000 exp = 15280 Rancors for Master LS

A few things still.


About point 29, it has been happening since the last patch, and it doesn't only happen with pets - I've seen people take someone else's name in a group when out of range.


My crafting tools or ubese shirts still show as red sometimes. The crafting tools are around 95% condition, and the red box disappears when Irefresh my inventory. It happens on some random tools at well. For the shirt, it has no condition and even then it should be nowhere near 0/0.

- The post says (4th word) that they are already using the weapon crafting tool. The Weapon/Droid/Generic Item crafting tool is supposed to be able to craft generic items, such as swoops, that are too high in complexity for the Generic Crafting tool. Also, even if you could craft it with the generic tool, you can't experiment...

That's what Jedi should be experiencing any time they use their powers or pull their lightsaber in public.

Dantooine Lag..... Seems to be worse for me on Dantooine when checking inventory, browsing a bazaar, or trying to loot a corpse, hope that helps.



Now for #17. Jedi have a new patch, Jedi are playing around in the starports. Jedi will discover that they are getting NO xp while dueling for no reason and will go back to the field to grind like all the proper Jedi are all ready doing. Even if they dont, so what? What is the difference between someone wielding a lightsaber while dueling in the middle of Coronet and someone wielding a Flamethrower in the middle of Coronet?


The Jedi TEF would have a GREAT place in the game for roleplay (jedi are rare blah blah blah) IF there werent a bunch of GRIEFERS who's sole purpose is to run around with a gank squad for no other reason than its "funny" to jump a Jedi out in the field.


If the TEF must come back, make it so that the TEF only applies to Imperial controlled NPC cities and Coronet (since it is a mass transport location and is one of the places that is causing the biggest uproar).


I really hope you guys can just hang back and see how this all goes. The patch is new and people are still adjusting. People who are going to leave over seeing a lightsaber are going to leave the game when WoW or EQ2 comes out anyway, they'll just do it sooner. People who love the game are in it for the long haul. Besides, no one left the game when there was a Graul Mauler following around every freaking person on every freaking server. That to me was more game breaking immersion wise as well as game breaking because of all the crap my video card had to draw.


p.s. I really hope you make the quests for up and coming jedi truly unique (not like the lame Knight quests that have us killing stupid critters), challenging and mysterious.

Issue: Jedi Exp with multiple deaths

Prof: jedi
Bug: If you die and are resed you will either loose the 30k (for pvp) or nothing because its against creatures, but next time u die and clone say u die the next time anjd clone and take a 200k penalty for cloning that time AND you take another 200k for getting resusitated the time before.
is this intentional? or a bug?
its killing some jedi because they are so negative exp from it its not funny

24) Cannot harvest more than 100 units of a resource from a creature. When this 100 resources is retrieved you can no longer harvest anymore of that resource type (unless you delete the current 100 units). You get a message that the container is full. I get the system message: "You harvested 186 unit(s) of Endorian Leathery Hide. The creature was fat and healthy" but there is not 186 units retrieved.


I noticed while harvesting milk from piket's 108 units of milk would be broken up into 100 units and 8 units of milk, when viewed in my inventory and would not automaticly stack with my previously harvested milk. If a persons inventory is near full, 98%, any amount over the first 100 units would cause this error message.

I recall an instance in A New Hope where Ben Kenobi draws his saber and cuts the arm off a thug.. Did 100 people jump Ben Kenobi when he pulled his saber out? Were bounty hunters running from all over to attack him? Nope, in fact everyone went back to their drinks.


Darth Vader regularly used his force powers to choke people, in rooms full of imperial officers. Where were the bounty hunters going after Vader? Why didn't HE have a TEF?


Every time I hear a complaint about Jedi, its always because they "Break someone's immersion in the game." How about you just let it go? Play your own character and stop worrying so much about what other people are doing. It doesn't hurt you that two jedi fight each other in town.


It breaks MY immersion in the game when a creature handler goes running through town with huge pets. It breaks MY immersion when a rebel and an imperial stand next to each other overt, and chat. It breaks MY immersion when I see an overt rebel in a town NOT being attacked by several thousand storm troopers. But you know what?? It turns out that it'sA GAME.



My opinion is that Jedi TEF's stay out. I have a jedi, Yes, and finally after months and months of hiding all the time, I can actually GO places and do things with my guild and my friends. I didn't play an MMO so I could sit on a remote corner of Endor alone for hours and hours.
