If you are going to bring TEF back on ALL Jedi's, then please change the FR system so that when killing a TEF Covert we get the xp for it. Right now we are getting -1 xp.

Issue: The Jedi are ruining the GCW.


You can't go to any of the major hubs or popular dungeons/pois without having a Jedi gank squad patrol arriving every 30 minutes or so. Going overt is impssoible anymore unless you are in a alrge group, before it was always a risk, never knowing when you could be outnumbered or what not, now it is guaranteed you will die.


Granted part of the problem is the old Jedi system catered to powergamers, not roleplayers, and I have yet to see a Jedi actually ACT like one, but the bottom line is this publish has completey killed any semblance of a balance that was left in the GCW.

Has there been a stealth nerf since publish 9for stored xp?

I gave up Master Droid Engineer and Master Artisan to learn Master Entertainer and Master Musician. I had enough xp from crafting to probably learn upto Master Artisan again, which i thought i may do again in the future.

Now when i check my experience in the skills sheet its capped at 1000xp, **edit**?

Please tell me this is a bug not some crazy nerf to stop people selling app points or something.

Always been this way. If you have 100k artisan xp and lose all your skills that require Artisan XP, next time you train an artisan box it reduces your xp to your new cap... At box 1, its 1000xp.


This is why people use Combat Xp for selling AP xp. You have have, say, a TKA box that requires 120k combat xp, and novice marksman. Since your cap is so high for the tka box, you can learn the marksman special abilities 1 box many, many times.


It's been like that since day 1.

I was de-crating powerhammers to put on my vendor
when one came out red boxed. It was a crate of 24
the condition was fine, the same as the others, and
fresh out of the crate.

Something is borked with that code.

Ok TH,

i only read the forums until now. i cant stand the whining non jedi guys any more.


the tef system before publish 9 dont let us be able to get involved to the community. a jedis leveling day was somewhere in the corner of endor or yavin. it was some kind of lonely cowboy feeling and it was BORING AS HELL. now when we can enjoy the jedi beeing the first time and perhaps do some pvp where not 40 player attack us when we are in a city the whining just begins.

every non jedi should think about how it would be when i.e a fencer would get a tef for all players when they use their stun baton. or a doc that uses a stim pack gets a tef and all overt beneath them would immediately attack them.


now let us see a bit further, how would it be when they would loose 200000 exp if they have to clone and what if they would only get 900 exp for a hurton stalker. and of course i have to say: u dont have a 80% composite.


ok, now what i want to say is that the tef system is good like it is. ok its a bit unfair that a bh group can attack a jedi but other jedis or player in the jedi grp that is attacked cant attack the bounty hunter group and has to watch how (just imaginating) a group of twenty people attack theire jedi buddy.


another thing that the dev is to balance is, that a bh with master brawler and a mind fire dot weapon can kill every jedi. just imagine how powerful the mind fire dot is for a warcry delayed jedi ...... even for a master jedi.


now to the weaponswitch delay, it is a very good developement but, get some stuff in the game that enhances the switching. like a good pistoleer can switch weapons faster, or some skilltapes to let good playing bh able to play skilled.


and another problem i have to bring on is, that a jedi has more problems with melee professions than with ranged one. it would be fair if ranged would be a little bit harder but the melee a little less harde. i cant imagine that a jedi would have a problem with a little "Bruce Lee TKA" in the movie (just remembering how a saber goes through a big steel door like a warm knife though butter). how the hell could a tka block a saber with his hands ? LOL !


furthermore there is a big problem with the crystals, the stats of the crystals are just to random.


and what i as a fair jedi hast to say:

fix the bh tracking problem, the 0.0 problem was not really a problem. its a bit **edit**ty that the bh dont get a updated waypoint.


hm what do i have to say now ??... oh yes!! plz thunderheart get more active story in swg.

the long-time players are really bored and the jedi knight trials, spending hours to search a random spawn isnt a sign that it is going to get better. where is the quest team ??! more interaction with npc would be very nice. starwars storybased PLLZ only killing something is not worth of doing the most quests. i hate to say that but the most player are only waiting for JTL and i dont think that JTL is the only thing that starwars galaxies is build for. make us proud to play a REAAALLYYY GREAT GAME like the advertising and let us get some real starwars feeling please !!!

it's really funny how jedi believe the answer to the jedi TEF system is the bh missions system, when they know full well bh ranged professions can't touch any master sabre jedi(previously low-mid level), along with the facts that missions don't even work, mission tef works sometimes but not enough. Quite evident that they would choose a faulty system for their point of TEF. And as for now i'll be keeping MBH and not tagging along with the CM/Melee BH crowd.


PSG's as have been mentioned were said to have light sabre resists as noted in a previous friday feature, and they do have LS Resist as a base until you completely relog in which case the resist turns into a vulnerability.


Weapon switch timer seemed to be working ok on TC towards the end (TC-valcyn) in that as long as you had the weapon equipped for a couple of seconds you could get an instanteous switch between weapons, not even if hold a weapon for 5minutes and switch i have a 5second delay, and i was all for it at the start but this just shows the imcompetence of the devs.

Bring at least for the HIGH LVL mobs a Lightsaber Resi, cannot be that a Jedi kill a Krayt and steal a whole Grp the Harvest Rights!

When are you going to make it so only MBH can take Jedi bounty missions?


You did a good thing to free up the unnecessary scout skills so the BH can get some more useful skills, but it is rediculous that having MBH is still not a desirable choice for those of us who enjoy the profession for the lore, etc.

IF Jedi get the "go hide in a corner" TEF again, that will be it for me.


It was boring and LONELY. I'll play ANY FPS before I go back to that. And Check my accts, I just dropped all the fighting skills on my mission-running alt acct. I will NOT go back to that boring-ass pre-9 jedi grind again.


You rushed this patch (squill/Geno caves anyone?). Tons of players are grinding out the PVE portion of jedi in days, BH were underpowered for the release of the patch, Combat Balance is completely out of whack., HAM bug, vendor scammers paradise,... And now you're going to Nerf crap instead of fixing things?
