I've played the game for over one year. I played the game and mastered professions as I went AS SUGGESTED. Worked my but off on my chef holo (against my better judgement) so I could at least get some credit.

Now after time, effort and money I may get nothing.

This is an outrage! I should not have to wait months maybe next year to justto start thequests. It will be 3 months to get in then 4 months just to get initiate. Forget the selfish jedi that want everything to themselves. Let everyone have some fun, most the people wanted to play a jedi in this game anyway. I just started this game a month or so ago and already got 10 professions.If you ask me I'd rather grind then wait to get in that whacked village. If anything have both the grind professions and the quests. I dont even see the reason for the change. I thought it was supposed to be funner, some what easier and quicker. The village quests is a piece of cake its the xp that will take a while so I'm still going to have to grind and waiting for changes in phases will take too long. Heck I'd actually pay $5 more a month to get a jedi. Plus what am I going to do when I didnt even know if I hit a holo profession or not? I didnt even get to use holos.

Once again this i all about limiting the amount of jedi to each galaxy.

SOE knew they would have to do something to limit jedi, because with their stats they saw all of us and every new player getting jedi very very soon. We have an overpopulation of jedi as is now, especially on servers with 200+ jedi running around. Heck they didn't have that many jedi at once at any time.

So here it is the new system, well the secind system, becuase we didn't get jedi fast enough before so they helped us. And poof darn didn't that idea back fire. So now how do we stop people we limit the time frame they can do it.

So here we are, guys with 25+ profs and those closer to the 32 mark are well.... in a nut shell..... dead in the water, up a stream without a paddle, knee deep in poop.

And you noobs or anyone within the past 6 months ....lol bend over and kiss th big man called SOE.

Weall knew they had to do population control and here it is. We hate it sure. But I have come to realisation that even with all our dreams to become jedi, only people who are power gamers, programers for afk grinding, and nobody of personal growth to o it him or her self will never get jedi......

I thought the whole 2nd slot idea was so that by the time you have to start altering your main character (chosing to sacrifice his normal skills for the Force) you'd at least have a 2nd character to work with on the normal stuff.

According to this you'd have to sacrifce 24 skill points on the main first. That's a pretty serious alteration for those of us with 0 or 1 point left.

Maybe these FS boxes shouldnt take normal skill points, or the 2nd slot should come earlier in the processs.

Ok i have mastered 32 Professions after Publish 9 and i got the unlock message, so i should be in Group 1 .

But i don't get a visit from the old man, so you wanna tell me i have to wait even longer ??

So if we did like 20 professions we could still 4 professions un done?

So there is no way for us to check where we are in this system? No way for us to know what group we are in?

So I may have already enought credit to go open my FS but I have no way to know if the Old Man is bugged or I'm just missing some unkown simple task to be done?

right now I can't even work on getting my exp together wich is all I have to do atm with PvP being borked up with all the jedi !

If we are glowing, as of right now, are we in the "first group" or can we be glowing and still be in the later groups?
