Thread: The Path of the Jedi: Reckoning of Effort

Don't forget that we STILL have to do all of the damn quests anyways if we want the new items, even if we unlock them with our "credit."
Total BS.
It's really a shame that you feel that way. I thought the FS quests were great. The thing that sucked was grinding out all of the XP to convert to FS XP so you move up the FS branches.
Even if I had all 6 branches unlocked, which I won't, I would still do all of the quests, even if they didn't give any items just because they are new enjoyable content.

As the number increased, people were completing more and more professions to hit the hidden requirements. Although we will not be giving specific credit for the total number of professions ground, we will be giving credit for how many of the required hidden master boxes you completed. There is a very strong correlation between the raw number of professions that players completed and the number of hidden master boxes people completed. In other words, for those players that acquired 32 master boxes, they by default acquired the necessary 8 master boxes that unlocked their slot. For players that finished 29 or 30 master boxes, they almost certainly acquired 7 of the necessary 8 master boxes that unlocked their slot. This was the case all the way down the scale.
You guys just plain sux. Who wants to bet TH "slipped up" by admitting they screwed over the player base by moving the bar multiple times. Lets get this straight...you figured out hologrinding was terrible and pathetic, yet at the same time, you increased the amount of hologrinding necessary??? Is that your story??? Again SOE logic is shown to not resemble standard earth logic. A much better approach would have been to just ELIMINATE novice professions from the unlock list...that would have cut down on the unlocks, especially the early ones, dramatically.
SWG devs = the NOOBS of the MMORPG gaming industry...BEWARE the noob.

While it's true post 9 unlockers qualify for the visit immediately, that does not mean instantaneously. Just run around the wilderness like we did on TC2 and he'll come eventually.
That does not work like it did on TC2. I spent more than 3 hour in true wilderness (5km from nearest settlement, somewhere on the edge of the map) no wisit so far. I waited too long for it.

Unfortunately I have to say that I am once again cancelling both my subscriptions. I had 2 accounts in SWG until February of this year. At that time, they said that doing Holocrons, you would get Credits in the new system, that would put you ahead of others.
Ok, so there were 5 hidden professions back then. You did 3 holcrons, and got one silent one, means that you had 4 of the hidden professions done...80% of the way to unlocking your FS slot. And they said we would be given credit in the new system.
I resub both of my accounts 2 weeks ago...I'm all hyped, I do a few professions, spend a few days doing themeparks, getting all POI badges, etc...and now, I find out what the new credit in the system does. With this system, I will most like only get 2 out of the 6 branches unlocked...and if i'm EXTREMELY lucky, 3...which mean,s about 33% to 50% completed...compared to the 80% I had in the old system.
For us veteran players that have accomplished everything else in the game, this is a big blow. It's not the Grind we dislike..it's that there's a 3 week wait time between quests....
Anyway, I was extremely dissapointed by that...and to add to that, I can't even get an OLD MAN visit because they're keeping 'track' of how many people do it..i'm in group 3 or 4...so one of the last to be allowed an Old Man visit.
Anyway...I know what the standard reply to such a post is.."good, get going then if you don't like it" and that's exactly what i'm doing, so shutup please.I am very dissappointed in the horrible customer service by SOE...they don't serve their customers...they have no respect for their customers, and because of that, they've lost my business....2 accounts going Bye Bye. Good work, SOE. Way to screw over the veterans.
Just hit the Cancel Subscription button. No way I'm paying $32/month for things I can't do....many of my friends are cancelling too.
