It's really a shame that you feel that way. I thought the FS quests were great. The thing that sucked was grinding out all of the XP to convert to FS XP so you move up the FS branches.
Even if I had all 6 branches unlocked, which I won't, I would still do all of the quests, even if they didn't give any items just because they are new enjoyable content.

This is total garbage. I worked at getting all the badges I could, I logged on this morning and found out that I have the Inner Glow. Now you log on and tell me that I have to wait before the Old Man will visit me? How long are we talking? Days, Weeks, heaven forbid, Months? Give me a break.

You guys just plain sux. Who wants to bet TH "slipped up" by admitting they screwed over the player base by moving the bar multiple times. Lets get this straight...you figured out hologrinding was terrible and pathetic, yet at the same time, you increased the amount of hologrinding necessary??? Is that your story??? Again SOE logic is shown to not resemble standard earth logic. A much better approach would have been to just ELIMINATE novice professions from the unlock list...that would have cut down on the unlocks, especially the early ones, dramatically.

I been on for almost an hour now, I am gloving nad the force is with me since I mastered 32 professions and I have yet to be visited by the old man. Any idea on how long I should wait!

Isnt this an RPG? Were supposed to all play some sort of role. Some craft, some poke fun, and some want to jedi fight. What is this limiting jedi I hear about? If you want to get so serious about th times in the game. How about that its been a year since this game out and it goes night to day about7times in real life 1 day. So its been like 7 years. So here you go the time has changed and jedi are now not extinct. There you have it now everyone can have fun.

That does not work like it did on TC2. I spent more than 3 hour in true wilderness (5km from nearest settlement, somewhere on the edge of the map) no wisit so far. I waited too long for it.

As aold player (2 weeks after launch), I'm quite disappointed. I've never done any holocrons, have mastered 10 profession ( although only 6 profession badges). Was looking forward to get a few force sensitive box skills to enhance my non-jedi game play, but as it stands out, I'm probably group 4 and must wait say 10 months? until I can start the quests. The village was the only content that came with publish 10, and now I'm not even allowed to get going for months
As I said I'm quite disappointed and this is the first time i post something negative on the in live forum.

We're not looking for a reward all we want to do is play the village like everyone else, the hologrinders were all ready COMPENSATED with FS skills it's not fair that us non grinders be gated and the hologrinders get to go first, the excuse that "well we ground all these profs so it's fair that we go first" is not a valid excuse because hologrinders have been compensated all readyit's not fair that us people who playe the game the way we wanted to get gated.like this a lot of people waited a long time for this, and now they have to wait even longer I guess.

This is just SOE sticking to the vets AGAIN! ive been here since launch i dunno why i have played as long as i have when WoW comes out im FINISHED with sw-paininthebehind-g i dont care about jedi roaming the galaxy ive play for almost 14 months and im bored of all the out-dated content and i wanted to try jedi or atleast the new village now its being gated TOTAL BS...I dunno about others nor do i speak for them but it still amazes me how bad SOE wants to make every customer quit, this is my last subscribtion ever to a SOE game. I dont care about flaming because im rarely on the forums and soon to be gone from the game, so flame on and WAY TO DESTORY A ONCE FUN GAME DEV's or whoever makes these moronic decisions.

Well, what can I say really. Congratulations to the developers, not only have you managed to 1/2 the population of eclipse in recent weeks with secrets of the force I. now you are set to kill the server with secrets of the force II.
You have given us all the promise of being able to get a jedi character without grinding all of the professions. Now the few remaining players on eclipse that were all looking forward to doing the quests can't! Because the devs have decided to move the goal posts in the final seconds, making it nearly impossible for anyone that has not holo grinded from even starting the quests.
For me and many of my friends that thought jedi was the only thing to keep us in the game, we have been stabbed in the back! Many of them are now cancelling their accounts! And I for one will NOT be renewing my annual subscription. Maybe the only thing that you A**eholes can understand is when your bank balance gets hit!
STOP with the stealth-nerfs!

I can't believe this. I have played this game every single ******* day for the last 8 months, paying for two accounts, trying to grind out a system you told me I had to do but you kept changing the rulesbehind the scenes? How can you possibly do this to your player base? You promise something in the sale of the game but then you make it so people cannot achieve that goal. You have now changed the rules again (I like the story based concept) but instead of just chaning the system, you are flat out denying them the ability to play the content.
Gating because you have too many people is nothing short of denying the content I pay for andI hope someone starts a class action suit for it.
I am likelydone with this game and I don't think EQ II will ever become part of my library either, any company who has such disregard for its players doesn't deserve my money.

Ok, so there were 5 hidden professions back then. You did 3 holcrons, and got one silent one, means that you had 4 of the hidden professions done...80% of the way to unlocking your FS slot. And they said we would be given credit in the new system.

For us veteran players that have accomplished everything else in the game, this is a big blow. It's not the Grind we dislike..it's that there's a 3 week wait time between quests....
Anyway, I was extremely dissapointed by that...and to add to that, I can't even get an OLD MAN visit because they're keeping 'track' of how many people do it..i'm in group 3 or 4...so one of the last to be allowed an Old Man visit.
Anyway...I know what the standard reply to such a post is.."good, get going then if you don't like it" and that's exactly what i'm doing, so shutup please.I am very dissappointed in the horrible customer service by SOE...they don't serve their customers...they have no respect for their customers, and because of that, they've lost my business....2 accounts going Bye Bye. Good work, SOE. Way to screw over the veterans.
Just hit the Cancel Subscription button. No way I'm paying $32/month for things I can't do....many of my friends are cancelling too.
