So you have artisan and business 3? Just add something for sale every 2 weeks.

That's the kicker, I'm NOT a crafter. I don't make any illusions about BEING a crafter. That does not imply that I don't have a use for a vendor that exceed the limited scope they are trying to pass off as acceptable. My vendor is expressly for the ability to passively aquire items of interest from those who know I'm interested in purchasing them.
Commerce works in both directions.

You guys are not ready what she is saying. It is not just that you don't sell anything but if you don't check your vendor with 15 days. That is two weeks. A good merchant checks his vendor at least once every 2 days. Whether your slow or not, I am sure you can put something in your vendor to sell or reaarrgned the price. It is not that big of a deal.Stop being so lazy.

I am sorry.
If people are such lame crafters that they can't sell one item in two weeks they can have the 10 second time sink of taking something off and re-selling it ooooooh
Something needed to be done about the dead vendors.
Lets spend time whining about important things lol

This is utter, complete and totalBULLS***.
Why should I be punishedby having millions of credits worth of inventory deleted if my vendors have a slow month? Why should I be forced to use the GOD AWFUL interface to pull and re-place an item just so my stuff doesnt get deleted?!?!?!
Go ahead and delete my vendors, and you'll see 3 accounts getcancelled.
...the dev crackdown continues..

Vendors
Unused Vendors - Vendors who go too long without being used will get deleted from the game. The only events that constitute use are placing a new item for sale on the vendor, or a customer buying an item from the vendor. Checking a vendor's status, paying maintenance, withdrawing sales, having offers placed, or accepting offers are all events that do not reset the Last Used timer. If a vendor goes 14 days without having a new item placed for sale, or an item purchased, then the vendor gets flagged as Unused. If a vendor remains Unused for a 14 days, it becomes in danger of getting deleted. When this happens, the player will be sent an email warning. If the vendor continues to be unused for an additional 14 days, the vendor gets deleted. Any items for sale on the vendor, items in the Stock Room, and offers to that vendor will be deleted with the vendor.
So, if a vendor's stock doesn't move, and they have a bad month in sales, they not only get their vendor but also their wares deleted. That makes a LOT of sense. That was sarcasm. I think that's a pretty shady way to treat your Merchant.
If I crate up 400 Max Combat Rating R3's and don't sell any in a month, yet keep paying my maintenance and checking on my vendor, you will delete all my droids. That's ridiculous.
I really see no point in you guys hurting (and possibly even crippling) a Merchant for having a bad month.
I hope you folks reconsider this "unused" vendor function. It seems exceptionally, and needlessly, harsh.
If someone pays maintenance on their house, but they don't enter it or drop anything in it for a month, does the house automatically get deleted? NO. Why are you doing this to vendors? I pay my maintenance on my vendor, I make sure it's stocked, so leave me and my businessalone. Stop trying to ruin the game for me, just because I'm a Merchant.
Can't see your problem here...then you remove 1 crate and put it up for sale again and thats it.

it takes 14 days to be marked as unused
it takes an additional 14 days to be marked as in danger of deletion and an email is sent
it takes another additional 14 days to be deleted
14+14+14 = 42 days ... if you can't be bothered to check your vendor for 42 days ... then theres something wrong. Thats 42 days of availabity to sell goods ... considering items are only on sale for 30 days on a vendor ... it means nothing is up for sale for 12 daysbeforethe vendorgets deleted.
This is only a problem where vendor neglect is an issue ... at which point who is to blame? the answer is the owner of the vendor.

If I pay my vendor maintenance, and my vendor is properly stocked, there is no reason for having my vendor deleted. PERIOD.
SOE, leave my business alone!
then /bug it. Same goes with the non-spawning POIs. Instead of writing about it on the forums (where not all things are read), /bug it and you know the devs will get it. I've /bug-ged two non-spawning POIs and guess what... they spawn now.

Except it doesnt work quite that way.
My offers vendor, THAT TOOK ME SEVEN HOURS TO GET FROM THE RANDOM CRAP THEY CALL HIRING 4, poofed with the first email.
Fivo Asia
but it still count to the total items in the house. so crafters still suffer from the inability to store lots of material without resorting to a vendor.
