Be nice if you could also adjust homes to allow more storage especially PA halls since your adding more & more loot items. Not being able to hock these things means I just destroy and have near full to full house, bank & packs. Maybe set a type of armoir/chest item limit per house on a seperate item count? So that the first bit is for actually decorating id players like and second be used for item storage & such?

Can't comment on the jedi bit, although I resent I am becoming one to get on equal footing in PvP.

Profession: Jedi
  • All bounty TEFs should now be cleared correctly upon death from a bounty hunter.
  • Jedi should now be able to completely clear their visibility after 3 weeks if they don't do anything else to increase it during this time. Visibility is gained when drawing your lightsaber or using force powers for each NPC or non allied PC within range.
  • A Jedi must perform a death blow against a bounty hunter to cause the hunter's mission to fail, instead of just incapacitating them.

  • 3questions:

    1. what will be considered non allied for neutral players, for rebels and for imperial ?

    2. what is the range ?

    3. does this mean that using a saber and/or force powers out of range of any npc or pc will notcause visiblity at all or just not as much ?

thanks for any clarification you can give

So, if a vendor's stock doesn't move, and they have a bad month in sales, they not only get their vendor but also their wares deleted. That makes a LOT of sense. That was sarcasm. I think that's a pretty shady way to treat your Merchant.

If I crate up 400 Max Combat Rating R3's and don't sell any in a month, yet keep paying my maintenance and checking on my vendor, you will delete all my droids. That's ridiculous.

I really see no point in you guys hurting (and possibly even crippling) a Merchant for having a bad month.

I hope you folks reconsider this "unused" vendor function. It seems exceptionally, and needlessly, harsh.

If someone pays maintenance on their house, but they don't enter it or drop anything in it for a month, does the house automatically get deleted? NO. Why are you doing this to vendors? I pay my maintenance on my vendor, I make sure it's stocked, so leave me and my business alone. Stop trying to ruin the game for me, just because I'm a Merchant.

Considering you get an e-mail with a 14 day warning, and I know I can't seem to go more than a week without having to relist something on a vendor, this doesn't seem unreasonable.

If you're maintaining your vendors, and getting any sort of sales, you're ok. In order for the vendor to be deleted, you need to have 28 days with no sales, and not listing any items.

Some of you just need to relax. Any legitimate merchant won't even notice this.

When in doubt, ask the Devs tomorrow for the Stastic's House of Commons Dev Chat.

I'm not in a real hurry for the phase 2 quests. I have a stragety that pretty much takes away the fustration.

What is it: Simple. Do the quests (may do 8 phases), pool the XP and wait till I have enough to get all of them at once (9,800,000 XP, since there is no cap on FS XP) and take it from there.

Im beyond disgusted with SOE. Another in a long string of promises broken. Ive never seen an organization that is so skilled at chasing away paying customers. Seldom do you get a straight answer from the Devs. Im not waiting weeks for each phase to kick in when ever the Devs feel like starting it. Get a schedule, stick to the schedule and quit treating your PAYING customers like lemmings. We deserve your respect. Your continued employment relative to this game is dependent on paying customers like us. If things dont improve rapidly the servers will resemble wastelands. Im about to quit this game. A game ive enjoyed for 9 months has evolved into a source of frustration. No straight answers, just a lot of bugs and a lot of questions.

Wise up SOE you are killing this game through your apparent indifference to the players that pay for it. Ill be dammed if ill shell out another 30 or 40 dollars of my hard earned money for JTL, if this is the way you treat your customers. 3 weeks does not mean 3 weeks and one day or two days or two more weeks or one more month. The gating and conversion of points was ill concieved and punitive. But im trying to work with in that frame work. Now if village phases will take place when ever the Devs get around to it is to much to bear. Im sick of this nonsense and am about to save 30 bucks a month on my two toons.

Unused Vendors - Vendors who go too long without being used will get deleted from the game. The only events that constitute use are placing a new item for sale on the vendor, or a customer buying an item from the vendor. Checking a vendor's status, paying maintenance, withdrawing sales, having offers placed, or accepting offers are all events that do not reset the Last Used timer. If a vendor goes 14 days without having a new item placed for sale, or an item purchased, then the vendor gets flagged as Unused. If a vendor remains Unused for a 14 days, it becomes in danger of getting deleted. When this happens, the player will be sent an email warning. If the vendor continues to be unused for an additional 14 days, the vendor gets deleted. Any items for sale on the vendor, items in the Stock Room, and offers to that vendor will be deleted with the vendor.

    /agree with other posters.

Thats way too harsh on people offering things to the vendor. If the vendor is in an unused state the offers either need to be turned off or the respective player given a warning that the vendor is unused.

A Jedi must perform a death blow against a bounty hunter to cause the hunter's mission to fail, instead of just incapacitating them.

Why not let the jedi give the bounty hunter the option of leaving with thier life? Whats that one dialog box? If no then you have to db them to clear the tef (If yes then the tef gets cleared). Lets not destroy roleplay completely here.

Yep, you pay the skill points for the vendor, you pay the maintenance, they delete your hard work. Makes sense from SOE's POV.

Can we please start deleting skill points from players that take time off from the game? I think Jedi that don't play every single day need to lose a box or three a day. Why not? Hell let's delete houses randomly too. I vote for rebels to all lose a house a day since they're suppose to experience hardship.

Placing and withdrawing a melon on your vendor every6weeks is too hard for you?

Read the patch notes carefully, you just have to put a new item for sale or have someone to buy 1 item every 6 weeks to mantain it!
