Thread: Lithium Upgrade v7.7.1
I've been having the 20K character problem, according Word it has 7.5K (its a big post), even if I remove over 2 thirds of the post I still get the problem.

Has there also been an enforcement on the length of a post that wasnt mentioned in the patch notes?
I've got a post that I've been editting for quite some time and now its coming up and telling me it's exceeding the 20k character limit. Yesterday I was able to edit it. Today its too long and its too long even if I just try to Edit and Submit it without any changes.
Curious, does the 20k character limit refer to the Graphical 20k chars or the HTML 20k chars?
BTW, its the resources link in my signature in case you want the example I'm referring to.

In the Options drop down box, could we get a "Reply to Poster" option which would open up the forum email and populate the To: field with that posters name?
Thanks again astheupgradeappears to have significantly improved the performance of the forums.
Bug (possibly just a complaint):
Starting threads are showing up "highlighted" (in bold) when the thread has new replies. I monitor the Dev Tracker section a lot, and when I click on Dev Tracker now, I have to figure out which ones I've already looked at. I have to check my options still to see if I can just disable this feature, but it doesn't seem as easy to use as the old setup.
Read and unread links are going wonky this afternoon.
I look at the Dev tracker, read the threads. A few minutes later I go back, refresh the Dev tracker, and 1/2 the ones I already read are marked as new.
I have a feeling this is a new "feature" that updates when someone replies, but for something like the Dev tracker it's more of a pain in the behind than anything else. I don't want to have to keep going back to the same thread to make sure I've already read that message.

The limit is now 60K I believe. Edit: 60K and keep in mind that includes HTML. So if you have a 40K char post + 25K of HTML code, it's not gonna go through.

I just cut and pasted my Resources (see sig) post into MS Word:
In its graphical form: 5,999 characters with spaces included
In its HTML form: 16,457 characters with spaces included
Could you please look at this and see if there's a bug?
