Save password still isn't working for me. I can log in, close the browser and reopen it and it works, but if I wait for 30 minutes before visiting the site again it does not remember.

Hrmm, it appears as though my cookie still isn't saving. I checked the box to remember my password, yet I still have to log back in after a short period of inactivity.


This has been my one and only beef with these forums.

i cant edit any longer that is a pain . also when i select a msg from dev tracker i get to the first msg in thread and not the selected one.

also the forum not mark threads any longer as visited.


now i need only if i can stay much longer loged in so far i had only need 1 time to relog in instead all 1 to 2 hours as before.


i hope there will be soon a fix for these problems as they are realy annoying

Yeah me too. I even went and made sure the "Automatically Jump To The First Unread Message In A Thread" was not checked but it still does this.






Me three! Any way you guys can fix that so it jumps directly to the dev post? It's a bit annoying the way it is now after being spoiled by having it go directly to the message we wanted.

I'm using the SWG skin, and it used to be that unread threads were light blue, and threads I had read were dark blue, now every single thread, unread or read, is light blue

Is it possible to make IM handles viewable by friends only without changing the viewability of the personalprofile (like with e-mail addresses)?

Has there also been an enforcement on the length of a post that wasnt mentioned in the patch notes?


I've got a post that I've been editting for quite some time and now its coming up and telling me it's exceeding the 20k character limit. Yesterday I was able to edit it. Today its too long and its too long even if I just try to Edit and Submit it without any changes.


Curious, does the 20k character limit refer to the Graphical 20k chars or the HTML 20k chars?


BTW, its the resources link in my signature in case you want the example I'm referring to.

In the Options drop down box, could we get a "Reply to Poster" option which would open up the forum email and populate the To: field with that posters name?

Wow.. Lithium posting.. I thought I'd never see it..


Very good upgrade, I don't know why, but things have seemed more reliable (in terms of browsing forums), and I didn't need to re-enter my password when posting (as I usually do) today. Makes me happy to skip 'superfluous' steps.
