TH ... Devs. My thoughts are this.

Clone camping has to stop now.... Not tomorrow or the next day but now.

Any Player who gets killed by a clone camper deserves to get their lives back and exp lost.

Put a message in the Launch pad telling players to stop Clone camping and that action will be taken against those that do.

If you can't fix the clone camping I see no choice other then to disable Jedi missions on BH terminals.

I'm not sure what the problems also are with the tefs. I bet a lot of it is faction related and grouping with others of same or different factions etc.

I think the best solution is to design a new system. Put in place a new faction for BH.. Jabba faction, underworld, or just simply a Bounty Hunter Faction.

Put all PVP missions into that faction , any bh that wants to do PVP missions must join that faction.

Also grouping with non bh factioned players would be impossible while a faction PVP mission is active.

Much can be added to the game if there was a BH faction. You could really add a star wars experience to not only the BH's but the Jedi or other player type missions.

For instance... you could have missions given out by Darth Vader. He asks for a group of BH's to hunt down and capture a particular Jedi... He intends to perhaps turn to the dark side. The BH's are given a net gun to capture the player after incapt them which instead of a DB transports them to a holding cell where Darth Vader pays them a Visit. He gives them a choice to turn to the dark side or die. If the jedi chooses death they are wisked away to the nearest clone center just as if they had been DB'ed.

The above is just one example of how adding factions could add more content and make it more fun to be a BH and a Jedi.

We could have BH and Jedi theme parks with cross overs too.

BH experience would work like faction points. Low level PVP bounties would be given out solo and in secret.

Remove camping terminals from the game... IF PVP missions are to few we could have a bidding system where we bid faction points to get the better paying missions.

Oh and a death mark system should be in place for BH's that fail to complete a mission.

Place the hardest but better paying missions at master , also have a group system which encourages a group of bh's by upping the pay for very hard missions.

All the jedi are just setting themselfs to AFK so that our droids say they are offline, I have caught 4 jedi doing this, I sent messages to them and they answered back with rude replys telling me to screw off.

A lot of us are very, very, very unhappy with what you've unleashed on a significant portion of the playerbase.

Jedi characters or Bounty Hunters, it doesn't matter, Jedi suffer now, and Hunters pay for it later.

Right now Jedi are being grief-incapped by too many ass-hats and effectively can't play. These folks may as well just unsubscribe, especially if they lose the Knight, Apprentice, or Padawan box. Is that what you want? Is that what you intended?

Of course Hunters will pay for this later, as "their content" stops logging in. You all know that the WoW beta is about to start, right? Do you expect all servers to display a "light" load-level going forward?

Unbelievable.

I can't wait to read the next GameSpy article.

Unbelievable.

This has turned into a game of apparantly sanctioned grief play.

Ok I have done some testing on why Tracking Droids can not track Jedi. I tested this with my Jedi friend last night.

He went to Endor and spammed many force powers. I got his mission from Kaadra, Naboo. Went and talk to Master Spynet Operative. Went to the beach and called the famous Imperial Probot Base down from the high heavens. Loaded up the bio signature. A minute or so later told me my Jedi Friend was on Endor. Flew to Endor and had him disconnect and reconnect without closing SWG client. So he logged off and right back on. I sent aseeker droid out and got the famous message Target in not online.

Had him logout of his Jedi for an hour and come back on and then I tried to send out a seeker droid and sent me back his waypoint.

We needed to do some more testing on this so he went to Dathmoir and I got his mission again. This time I got the bio signature and before calling the droid from high heavens I had him do the logoff and logon trick again. Sure enough when called the droid Target is not online. I had him stay off Jedi for 45 minutes this time and sure enough was able to track him.

I figure I report this and see what can be done about it because people can use this as exploit.

Ok another Jedi-Mission Bug i saw yesterday.

I am MBh on Farstar, was getting a Jedi mission in the evenening. My Droids got that Target and i followed him to Tantoine. 1 Minute before i got there, a seeker droid told me, that the target has gone offline.

Even after that i wanted to take a look at the Waypoint,it was a Guildhall. 1 minute later 2 other BHs arrived and we were talking about the Jedi missions.

One BH (hedidnt have a faction, he is neutral)told me, that he was fighting the Jedi, but was incapped then by a Jedi-grouped BH from the same guild as the Jedi. How is that possible? How can someone attack a neutral Player? He wasnt overt(=>neutral) nor could he get a TEF.

As we were discussing about that( about 5 minutes now after the jedi logged off) the mission suddenly disappeared from all our datapads. I wrote a Bugreport and a Customer ticket and explained everything to the CS agent, that took care of that. His comment was ,that it is the design of the game, that missions will be incomplete if the Jedi logs off......and that its not a bug.

So all a hunted Jedi has to doto is grinding jedi xpgroupingwith some other guildmembers(non-jedi professions), that can take all incoming BHs down and then run quickly in a Guildhall, where the BHs cant enter, and log off??

well, i got a mission last night and the tracking worked great. very fast. i like.

the problem was that the jedi was blue to me. he didn't even believe that i had a mission for him. i was declared imp and he said he was a light jedi. quite annoying, but the guy was cool.

the worst part was that he rode off, then i was talking to my rl wife. well he rode up again and i don't know how it happened because i wasn't paying attention, but he started engaging me and i went down before i even knew it had happened. very annoying, but i'll blame myself (and my wife) for that part.

I still don't understand why Jedi need to have penalties; permandeath, experience loss, or skill box loss. It doesn't make sense from a gameplay standpoint nor from a content genuity standpoint. The objective is to limit the number of jedi - so let's limit the number of times players can be introduced to quests and complete them. There has to be other ways than spoiling the efforts and humanity of those fortunate souls that managed to succeed at becoming a jedi. We do have to remember that we are all human beings playing a game; a game we pay for with the expectation to enjoy. This move to hinder jedi player enjoyment is catastrophic. If I go on one mission hunt and finish it for 3,000 experience points and 18,000 credits, I will have packs of bounty hunter teams chasing me within 10 or 20 minutes if lucky. If I have no place to hide, I will have to log off and not enjoy the game in any magnitude that I pay the money to do so in. If I stay in the game and become hunted, which I have absolutely no problem with, then I will inevitably die and inevitably lose skill boxes. All of this for 3,000 jedi experience points going hunting 1 time? You do know how long it takes for a jedi to advance right? I would be somewhat satisfied if you double all experience requirements and removed all death penalties.

Again I plead to have any penalties associated with incapacitation or death be removed indefinately.

The problem stems from the fact that players are allowed to be Jedi. If you try to cover up that fault in game concept by introducing hodge podge tactics that significantly hinder the game play of those fortunate enough to purchase your product, there can and will be no efficient, enjoyment, and ever-lasting result.

After browsing through this thread, I'm just flat ashamed of the way some BH's are acting. Griefing a Jedi just because you can is something that only a 12 year old on a testosterone high would even consider.

Several fixes:

1. Mission goes incomplete30 seconds after Jedi incaps, no matter who/how he was incapped.

2. Move Jedi Hunting to Master BH only

3. Remove the ability of BH's to group when they have a BH mission. (probably technically a nightmare)

As it stands now, because of the griefing by the juveniles, I see a major nerf coming that people aren't going to like.

Ok, its my little experience from the start of the new patches. I tried to do 15 jedis missions btw my jedis friendlist start to be huge! On those 15...10 were not online but were online in my friend list. For the 5 others... I got all excited! Woot it really work!! Got pumped, arrive on planet, send seeker...get an update...SWG CRASH!!! Ok not bad it update and crashed... i relog, go at the mark hoping he didnt moved...of course he didnt! He was working his skill inside his house! On the 5 missions who were working, 5 jedis were inside their house working. What is more frustrating is that their other chars come up and telling me to go away that i'm now the only bh who passed here and to leave them alone... I got even a mission where the name of the jedi were not a valid char...
Proposition!

First: Fix the codes about the 'not online' droid because the jedis know how to use it and they are! Getting tell from them saying that you cant hunt them with seeker is a little frustrating. Give us tools that really work!

Secondly: For the jedi clone camping, fix the codes again so when they die by the hand of a bh all the missions on him are no more viables.

Thirdly: Its really annoying the BH community, jedis macroing INSIDE their house at SAFETY. Jedis should not be able to work their skills inside their houses. Its simple has that... To fix that its very simple, using force skill disable you the ability to enter any house or building type for 5 minutes. If i want to play house fighting i go play ultima online!

The devs said that not everyone could be master jedis... so please stop to say that we ask too much. It will be a fair fight with working tools in our hand. You knew what being a jedi would be...the devs always said it would not be easy that only a few could be master jedis. Its normal then we ask for working tools and correction about the afk house macroing. Saying any justifications about using the afk house macroing is not viable, like i have a life you know, you have a life and dont have enought time to play that game, dont play it, its simple as that... you want to macro afk its ok... you still can but it will be outside of your house and not at safety. My list of inside house macroing jedis start to be long since my bh friends who hunt jedis too share the info about them and we report them.
