Thread: Publish 8: Various Gameplay Changes
Tell me again how 1 player taking out every Stormtrooper in a city is Star Wars? Please remember Rebels: You are not the heroes of the Rebellion. You are simply no-named soldiers in the army, much as the Imperials are.

Nova Troopers are stuipid and un-star warsy. Getting a TEF in a crackdown city should not mean instant death for the rebel. Its not like killing them granted some amazing amount of faction anyway, what like 10 faction points? There isn't even anything worth while to spend Rebel Faction on.
I hear this from alot of Rebels. From alot of Rebels who know that FPs will get them factional-ships in the upcoming SE. Tell me again easy/free faction points for rebels means nothing, will you?
If the Imperial players are so upset about faction farming, then they should be the ones to do something about it. There are plenty of crackdown troops to support an Imp player as they engage a Rebel.
That's an ignorant and narrow-minded comment on your part. If the Imperials don't like it, we should spend all day and night of our personal game time in order to babysit NPCs that Rebels can take down in clusters? No thank you. It's also incredibly hard taking on a group of GTEFers.
I'm usually not this upset about changes, but ramping up the HAM on STs is not the "interesting and challenging" gameplay that you are looking for.
Oh, so what you're saying is you don't want the Stormtroopers to be the "feared/walking death" troops that they are s'possed to be? Read up on the SW Databank, Stormtroopers are the elite fighting squad of the Empire. They strike fear in the hearts of all who see them. And now that they're up to par with what the databank considers them, all the Rebels are mad that they can't just sit alone in a city all by their lonesome and farm mad faction points for that shiny new X-Wing they have their eye on?

Vehicles / Mounts
- Vehicles will no longer auto-heal when left out and stored after a player has taken a transport to another location.

So basically only imps have faction farms now with our rebel bases, if this is the case then I now call on all rebel guild to pull up all our faction bases. Let's not give the imps there faction farms anymore.

The only ignorant thing is your response as now the only ones with a faction farm are imperials going after are npcs with their super AT-ST's.

Yes sir, and they went down faster then a hooker on hollywood blvd.
So why should the imps get god like soldiers with more ham and resists then a freaking juvinelle krayt dragon??? I guess now that a rebel needs to leave a planet we need to take a group of 20 elite rebels with us just to get a damn ticket and leave the planet (that is if anyone of us survive that one nova trooper)

Cool.... but what about the direct planet to planet flights (NPC smugglers/pilots)?
We are investigating the possibilities now. We hope to include this, but It is uncertain at this point as to what is possible. Regardless, Star port times will be changing with the GCW revamp.

No..... why!??! What is the reasoning behind planetary shuttles running more often but starport transports taking longer? 5 minutes should be across the board. The wait is annoying and takes away from time players could actually be playing the game. I don't know how many times I have arrived at a starport only to have the ship close up and take off, and then have to wait for ten minutes doing..... hmmm.... nothing. Why the penalty
NO travel should be 100% instanced as it is from Theed the waste of time is clearly due to the desire to soak up money while you waste a good average every day playing the game.
how much time is wasted traveling?
don;t we have enough things that soak up time such as 1) Get mission. 2) travel to point B. 3) kill everything at point B. Rinse and repeat. after a while that too gets old. More content where say protocol droids are required to get missiosn from NPC's that actually lead to good content would be nice.
but they are more content wasting our time.
I have just heard that they are intending on removing these from the game. Good is all I can say but...Since you have made them why waste them. Can they not be implemented as a random spawn in Cities. One that will Despawn after a time of inactivity. Or they spawn after a certain amount of troopers are killed.
Anyone then farming faction will run the risk of getting one of these Bad Boys turning up to ruin their day.
As I said in my post. Stopping Faction Farms in cities needed to be addressed but the methodSOE have taken is about as subtle a brick.
You might also want to look at why the NPC occupants of these cities are attacking them...They must hate them more than we do ![]()

Yea thats the ticket make ST much stronger.. You people had better pray to god your space expansion isnt buggy and full of crap because nearly all the people I know are only remaining here to see if it is. I thought I read in previous patch notes concerning the crack-down that ST's would not scan people in starports. well brainiacs they do and did. I was standing in front of the ticket droid on Mos Entha and an ST runs up to me and says "Halt.. etc.. etc.." So with me not buffed or anything I just run, but of course I get a TEF, so then I get a message that my bike turned Overt and was destroyed. (Makes sense) (not). and then two goods decide to help the ST and bam im cloning because your stupid system. So now I have to worry about 100k ham Supertrooper that will scan me.. so can you say forcing everyone (like it pretty much is now) to be buffed constantly.. Heck this game can not be played without buffs. And when you get a TEF or whatever the first thing someone does is attack your vehicle because it takes nothing to destroy one.
