?? Does this mean. Everyone will have two slots per server as well? And be FS? creating thousands of Jedi running around? Still kind of confused about this.

Thats what I wondering too.

Successful Jedi Knights will have the opportunity for two slots (in the current design), but it will be difficult to attain.

well, so far it's looking good, but we need more information on how this will affect current jedi before we can put our views in.

Some translation to the new system will be part of the process and current Jedi will not lose their second slot.

What happens to the holo grinders that haven't unlocked?

They get to play through the new quest system in Publish 10.

I have to say...this scares me a lot. TH...I really hope you are still as enthusiastic about making sure the voice of the players is heard as when you took this job...because this sounds like the top of a slippery slope towards the opposite.

I've heard that the quests are going to be limited to 1 quest a day. can someone give link to that thead on here?

Also it's a good thing the forums are public - I'm putting 1 year maint into my structures and vendors and preparing to go on vacation until the 'secrets' (spelt L I E S) are ou tof the bag.

Would you care to test out a 400 year old sword to see if it's decayed to condition 0? All the prior testers have no comment. Perhaps a gun which was used in WW I and still fires with high accuracy upto 1km?

If that doesn't get you, then start reading current military specifications for combat equipment.

Kind of like a clear answer here? Make it simple...

1) Do we all get 2 slots, or is it still 1 slot, with a second unlocked?

2) if we have to unlock the second slot, what is the "point" where it's earned?

Speardancer Master Artisian, Shipwright and 12pt Armorsmith *cancelation pending*
Garlyn, Master Tailor and 11pt Chef *Canceled, last day Apr. 24th*
Motas, Master Scout and Carbineer *Canceled, last day June 16th
*Waited 1 year for a combat fix, and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt*

ok. So you get a second slot. a successfull Jedi Knight can do this, But it will be difficult to do so.

1. Novice Jedi will not be open to me until I complete the Jedi Quests?

2. After opening the FS Profestion Via the Jedi Quests. I canthengive up some extra skill points and start up the Jedi Initiate skill try?

3. But I can still retainmostof my current skills as I work up the novice Jedi Skill tree?

4. But if I want to advanced beyond Jedi Padwan. I will need to totaly devote my character to the force and start giving up my other skills in order to have the Skill points to Train Jedi Knight and beyond?

5. Also in order to train even further up the tree in Jedi Knight *(light or dark) I will need to PVP in order to get exp?

6. Current Jedi will not lose any exp or have to do any of the Jedi Quests to open theskill tree, Beyond any Jedi related quests to advanced beyound Jedi Padwan and/or Jedi Knight, andthen to Master Jedi ?

Atleast this is how I understand the statments so far.

One simple question, that requires only a Yes or No answer :

If I hit Dark Jedi Knight before the publish, will I still be a Jedi Knight after the update ?

I am on profession 23 and 24 right now, It is very hard for me to log in and grind now i know i can finish all 32 before publish 10 if i keep grinding non stop. I hope you put ina system that counts our mastered professions, even if its only counting professions mastered after the badge update.

I know you said there was no way to track professions mastered before that. I have only missed 2 profession badges out of all my professions i have mastered and if someone who has only done 2 or 3 professions and i have done 25+ you can't tell me we will be put through the same exact ammount of questing. That isn't very rewarding at all, that is a big slap in the face if that is the way its gonna be.

Please PLEASE PLEASE address the crystal/pearl issue NOW! so we know whats going on!!!! this isn't like beta and we have no idea what a jedi is or can do. WE NEED COMMUNICATION! None of this yoda, smooth talking stuff. Straight awnsers.

You ask for comments, but what we have to comment on poses more questions than it answers. So, my comment is, please give us more information... what we have in those two paragraphs seems the equivalent of a Jedi mind trick.

Thunderheart waves his hand in front of our faces and says, "This is the information you're looking for."

To which we reply, "This is the information we're looking for."

Thunderheart says, "You're welcome"

We reply, "Thank you!"

Personally, I think turning the high end Jedi game into forced PvP gankfest is a Really Bad Idea (tm).

When's the 'deadline'? When do the rules change?

I think an option to not have ANY force sensitivity is a good idea. For those who do not want to be force sensitive they should have this option. Most are not force sensitive so let us have this choice. I would also like to see some minor benefit to taking this path, whether it is some defense against Force Powers or some other ability.

Thunderheart,

You know I had a long winded post all laid out and then I decided to only say please understand the lack of complete knowledge causes anger and disappointment. There are many questions you cannot answer and we know that.We as a community need to understand this and continue to enjoy the game to the best of our abilities.

Cant copy the original post in this message for some reason... but this is in repsonse to you asking for our input. You say

"Please post your comments. These threads are reviewed by the development team and your input is valuable."

How can we possibly comment when we have no idea on what you are saying? You talk very cryptic and very vague... how about some straight comprehensible statements that tell us exactly what will happen? Why cant anyone do that? You replied to a couple of posts but the replies didnt do anything but confuse us more.

What is the development team going to get from this input? Sounds like you want input on how we feel about this change... we dont know exactly how its changing so how can our input be valuable. It is really starting to sound like you all just want to aggravate us on the jedi subject. This cryptic stuff is getting a little too much for me to handle I tell you that much. I have been playing this game for 1 year now ( yes I was in beta ) I have given this game a year and tried to get a Jedi slot for a year. In the 20+ club, done all your content and everything you have to offer. I feel I atleast deserve an answer on what is going to change.. I deserve an answer on how long we have left to holo grind, I deserve an answer if the holo grind is even going to be worth it when the changes come out. How will it effect the jedi I unlock ( if i unlock in time ) This game is supposed to be fun not some crytpic bs that makes me want to pull my freaking hair out. The more I think about this more aggravated I get.. YOUR ASKING FOR INPUT ON YOUR CRYPTIC SCHEDULED CHANGES.. and then answer a couple of questions in a more cryptic way. MY GOD.

It may not seem like a big deal to you.. but for some of us who really want information on what changes are going to take place and if our hard work is all in vain up to this point I would really like to know. I dont want to find out when the quest system comes out to find out the last year of my life has been wasted on this game.. I really dont want that to happen. I really do want to play SWG and have a good time.. I honestly really really do. I mean I really do... but for heavens sake this vague stuff is really biting at my very last nerve.. and by the looks of the other posts some other people feel the exact same way. I just cant express how in words how aggravated I really am with this secretive stuff. No one has asked how to open the slot.. nothing like that.. just want to know how its going to change and effect us. I may be stupid.. but this is how I would like to have the questions answered.

Q. Will everyone have two slots at publish 9?
A. No you will have to unlock the second slot by quests

Q. How will the current Hologrinders be rewarded for mastering 30 professions and not unlocking?
A. Yes they will!! The number of professions they have completed will reflect in a percentage of quests they will have to do

Q. blah balh
A. Blah blah

Just making a point with the above. In no means is that all the questions that need to be answered.. or the answers I necessarily want to see.. I just want to see some truthful answers that make sense and arent vague.

If you were laying in your kitchen floor suffering from a heart attack and your friend was on the phone with 911 giving direction to your house .. would you want your friend to say

1.) We live somewhere in Louisville Kentucky... the house is white with some brick and we have 2 cats in the front yard, and there is a big walnut tree at the end of the street

or

2..We live on 55589 Elm street on the East side about 1 mile from the main highway

I would imagine you would want your friend to say #2. What you are giving us is #1... actually number 1 gives a lot more info than you are giving us.

So please give us answers... please please please.. I mean. really please. This is getting way too old..
