An idea on an alternitive way to earn APPRENTICESHIP!

You just made Scout 4/4/4/4 and want to Master Scout. You have 0 apprenticeship. There are no players around that you can teach to get apprenticeship and you have been searching for many months. What can you do?

Simple, You visit your Scout Trainer. Converse with them and select the "Quests for Master" option. You pay the Scout Trainer 10,000 credits and they give you random Scout type quests for 50 apprenticeship each until you have enough for Master Scout. Before you can do each quest, you must pay the trainer 10,000 credits. You get no credits, loot or rewards from doing these Apprenticeship Quests. Your only reward is 50 special [SCOUT Apprenticeship points] at the end of each quest that is only good for mastering the Scout profession and does not work with mastering any other profession. To master other professions once you have enough skill points you would do the same but just talk to the correct NPC Trainer. The quests would be located in a city (on the same planet) other then the city your trainer is in or at least 4,000-9,000m away in the wilderness and have something to do with the profession, maybe just like the Profession Mission Terminals.

If youve trained enough players to get 600 apprenticeship points and just couldnt find anyone else to train, you could go to the Scout Trainer and complete an Apprenticeship Quest for 50 Scout Apprenticeship Points. You now have enough to Master Scout. 600 Regular Apprenticeship Points and 50 Scout Apprenticeship Points. 600 Regular Apprenticeship points and 20 Scout Apprenticeship Points go into Master Scout. The 30 Scout Apprenticeship Points left over dissapear because you would not need them. You just Mastered Scout and they would be useless. If you had 50 Regular Apprenticeship Points and 600 Scout Apprenticeship Points and you trained for Master Scout, you would have 30 Regular Apprenticeship Points left.

I hope I havent confused anyone. I may read this later and be a bit confused but hopefully someone (Devs) can make use of this idea and put something like this into the game so getting Apprenticeship Points wouldnt be so difficult.

Maybe there could be a simpler way to get apprenticeship then this. I like this idea though. It would be easyer then shouting for days and days in front of Cornets starport lagging everyone that trys to walk by and spamming their chat boxes with annoying garble.

Thanks for reading.

This game has no longer became fun for me. I do not see it ever getting better. Goodbye Tempest and Eclipse. Salute SiN Guild.

I'm looking for where in the game I can find the current build I'm running, not a post. Posts have no connection to the version that I am running, until after it has been patched.

How do Jedi work?
Your main character does not become a Jedi. Rather, the actions of your main character can unlock an additional character slot which is Force Sensitive. Characters created in this additional slot can then advance through the Jedi skills (and only Jedi skill). Each player account allows for only one potential Jedi slot and the mysterious method to unlock it won't be the same for every player.

Actually Lonkley, you should read it again, as I did. I have 2 Accounts.

Has anyone else noticed that many questions are just being pasted into the roundtable each week from the previous week? I'm not sure what irritates me more, seeing the questions over and over, or seeing the questions over and over because they have never been addressed.

Now for something relevant.

I agree with Sketh's breakdown of the "checkers" issue. I see many other professions able to add "checkers" (even if they are only temporary "checkers"). I also see a profession that is being revamped to better its "checker" offering.

Basically, most of the utility functions in the game are provided by some other profession. I'm just not sure what is left for DEs to produce (aside from adding new/different functions). BEs and CHs provide combat assistants (pets), Doctors and Entertainers provide stat buffs, Chefs will be providing skill enhancements. There just doesn't seem to be any room in this model for droids, which I think is a shame.

Version number appears during loading (the Lucas Arts and I think the SOE screens have the number in the lower right-hand corner).

No response to therequest to show slicing details on the wep/armor data screens?

OK, here's a plan:

Go forth all rebels. Seed the Imperial Bazzars with sliced armor and weps. (not uber powerful stuff, just run-of-the-mill blasters, Bone, etc.)... Offer good prices. The unsuspecting imps will buy em like hotcakes. (since we will obviously not TELL them they're sliced, and they do not have the ability to LOOK.... they'll never know)

then, when the crackdown comes, watch all the imps getting jacked up by their own armed forces ..... Heh, Heh, Heh

[tongue-in-cheek..... please, FIX this. It's a grief-waiting-to-happen]

I'd like to get coloration of bleed icons. When in battle, I can see if I or my target bleeds, but I canät see what type of bleed it is. If there were three bleed icons (red for health, green for action and blue for mind) it would really help.

I actually think it's a great RP opportunity - sabotage.
Although /moveFurniture up & down would definately be "enough", seems there's SOOO many ways to do it better.

Just my $.02.. From a fellow Graphics Programmer.
There's a command in the Morrowind editor that allows you to 'drop' the currently selected object onto the next object under it. It would be nice if you could /moveFurniture up, and then /dropFurniture to make it sit on a table (or whatever) instead of float at the predetermined height.

Has anyone anytime seen a Rifleman (even Master) block or a TKA block, dodge or counterattack (for example) ??? I think they should first repair the current System, instead of creating a new one ! :-(

Can anything be done about faction armor.....Like make it craftable by armorsmiths of the same faction....As is, it is very hard to get and keep a full set of Imperial armor...Which should be much more readily avalible to the Imperial Overts....This would work great with the Imperial Crackdown....

Will faction pets every go back to days of past.....More than one trooper under your command at once....I dont mean ATSTs....No one but maybe a general should be able to control more than one of those...But the npc troopers, can we have a rank based system for controling more than one...

Can we have the option or just have our ranks visible while overt....I roleplay and hate to have to ask if I should salute....If they are overt...I should be able to know what rank they are....

Shouldnt the faction weapons be worth using....right now they are not worth spending faction pts for....Can faction Player weaponsmiths make these instead...and only sell them to Overts of the same faction....

Will the Master Smugglers get to choose what stat gets sliced.....they should...they are Masters

Can we please NOT have experimentation on slicing tools.....there is no good explanation of why we should be able to....

Thank you for listening....Keep up the great work.....This game rules

Now that the Jedi will be revamped and no longer dependant on the Mastering of Professions (at least I hope).

Can the Apprentice Point system now be eliminated. Please go to a strictly experienced based system.

I for one hate having to troll around looking for peeps to train hoping to be the lucky one of 100 who can find and grab the player looking to be trained.

The amount of spam from players wanting to train is overwhelming at times. This may have served a purpose but let it go away and let us do what we like best actually playing the game.
