TH i know that the traffic will be an issue, you can alway control this time round. how about phase2? everyone will do it together so can u tell me how u going to control the traffic? do u see my point? maybe u can get the old man first wife to invite us to phase 2 to control traffic then eldest daughter for phase 3, lastlysecond daughter for phase 4 then the old man turn again... we in group 4 had to wait wait wait n wait.... i forget to mention i pay USD$15 per month too! we pay same amount n being treat differently? wat is this?

we are going to be monitoring traffic daily as players start and finish the Force Sensitive quests. When enough people have completed their path, we will open it up the village to the next group.Groups 1 – 4 will qualify for a visit when the village traffic has died down. Of course, if you qualify for the visit under the new system, you will automatically be granted a visit from the old man.

Now that I am only disappointed in you I will simply quote Jaida's post as she pretty much nailed my thoughts with her post.
TH, you KNOW this backlash would be no where near as bad as this if you had simply told us this was coming.
I will skip over my irritation at playing this game as was intended instead of grinding professions seeking a Jedi slot ( I only want the second character slot, could not care less about playing a Jedi ) only to once again take second seat to all the grinders theDevs you front forcreated.

1. You dangle the carrot in our faces with the profession grinding system. Increasing the difficulty because you let your default number of people unlock. Is it a sick twisted pleasure to toy with a community of people who haven't even been able to unlock for the past few months because you decide to fix something YOU broke with the profession grind destroying the game?
3. Worst of all. You did not warn the players about the backstabbing you would do today. You led everyone on to believe today would be the day that those who unlocked during publish 9 would get to start their path. You foul mouthed liars. Even a 24 hour notice would have been acceptable, than raising the hopes of all the players and especially those who took a day off work/school in order to do something they worked so very hard for.
These are just things that have been revealed in the past day...do you really want us start digging up all the monstrous things you have done to us in the past year for everyone to view? Something you dont seem to understand. You're jobs are to make this game fun and rewarding to us. You're jobs are not to lie to us, steal from us, cheat us, treat us like fools, forget about us, step on us, ignore us, or give us false hope. Do you hate your fan base so much that you think you shouldn't inform us when something like this happens? Are we only $$$ to you? Pull your heads out of you-know-where and talk to the people dammit!
No, make it a new box. buy the Super Special Edition and you get 2 char on one server of your choice. one is FS other is normal. charge 150 bucks

So for us slobs who glow and have no hologrinding done, i bet we all see the old man in a week. let the HGers get the hell out our way and we can enjoy the story. i have been playing for over a year, i can wait a few more days.

To be clear:
TH The biggest question must of us have and are alittle upset with is when Player "B" going to get visited by the OLD man. If this player falls under Group 4 and has to wait 5 to 6 month to get a visit. I doubt you see these player here when EQ2 and Wow Start up. Alot of Peeps stop grinding profession when you said there was going to be a new system to become a Jedi.
Basically you guys are punishing the peeps that stop by having them wait to get into the village. You are doing the same to player who thought the Profession grind was a idoitic way to become a Jedi and went on there own to really enjoy what the game had to offer. I really think you guys did a good job with the quest system.
IMHO I think you guys the drop the ball on having players wait to get a visit from the "OLD MAN". Yeah you will have lag in Dath for the first couple of days but I don't think it would have been anything worst to what you get in Dantoonie now. (Yeah you would have had alot of player running around the village the first couple of days. Once they start grinding for their FS exp must would return to their favorite grinding area.)
I hope JTL is good because if it not you will probably see my money go to WOW. (I not sure about EQ2 since it runned by SOE.)
TH are you saying a player whoQualified Has the Glowy feeling with the new system will automatically get a visit from the "OLD MAN" and not have to wait. Even if they never completed one Holo Profession?
