Thread: The Path of the Jedi: Reckoning of Effort
I have mastered one of my holo profession for sure.. so i would be in group 3?
I doubt it would be as simple as for me to wait... but is there any way to know wich other profession i would need? ( if there is any.. it would then change nothing for prof grinding they
wanted to remove from before publish 10... but then what am i supposed to do... play.. get badges?.. when do i get to know im close to FS??
If anyone could fill my brain with knowledge... it would be nice (:
Thanks already

It will depend on how many of those 5 professions were holo-professions. This announcement is primarily for people who were trying to finish 32 professions to unlock. Because there was such a strong correlation between how many TOTAL professions were completed and how manyholo-professions were unlocked, its a fair guess that if you finished better than30professions, you are in the "automatic"crowd If youentering into the path based on the new system, then it will depend on if you have met all the requirements.
To be clear: Lets say Player A has completed 32 professions before publish 10.
Player B has met all the requirements of the new path before publish 10
Both player A and Player B are eligible for visits by the old man.
TH, clarify, please...
I was glowing the minute I logged in...I did NOTHING before I /checkforcestatus'd...
Therefore, by your post, since I was glowing I met the requirements of the new path BEFORE patch 10...
Ergo, I am in the same group as Player A?
12 total profs mastered (four holos)...75 badges (including all POI's (Master Explorer), Imperial Themepark, Nym's Themepark, all 3 Imperial Corvette Missions, the Theed Librarian, The Warren (both))..."You feel an inner glow...The Force is with you"...
Also, can you comment on a guildmate who unlocked between 9 and 10 via the "old way" and has a faint sense of the force?
There are a great many players that would like clarification on this issue...
My opinion on this is that the Old Man is bugged, and you guys are setting a goal of having it fixed in 1-3 days...Can you CONFIRM the Old Man is working?

Well, I didn't hologrind at all - in fact, I've never owned a holocron, except for a Sith Holo that I keep as a decoration. I've done 5 professions in the year I've been playing - Tailor, Merchant, Marksman, Teras Kasi, and Artisan, and there's no way that I hit all 5 holo-professions by blind luck. But, I've done all the POIs and have enough other badges to be "one with the force", so I qualify under the new system.
Well, which is it?
To be clear:
So If I logged in this morning, /checkForceStatus and get "you feel an inner glow. The force is with you."I've met all the requirements and I'm eligible for a visit from the old man, is that what I'm reading? Like player B in your example? (which got removed when I tried to post, lol)

There is a catch here. The way it sounds to me that aplayer with the said "32" professions before publish 10 is either automatically "glowing"or doesn't need to be "glowing" to get a visit from the Old Man. That is what I get out of example #1 (player A). Player B has met all the requirements of the NEW PATH. Well now, this is where it gets tricky, and only one real answer is needed. If a player types in /checkforcestatus and recieves "You feel an inner glow. The force is with you." as the response, have they met the requirements mentioned in example B, thus eligible for a visit from the Old Man in a similar time frame asPlayer A? This one simple answer is all that we need Thunderheart. It will put out the flames in an eye blink, because most people who cared about these new quests would have been trying to get their character to "glow"....
Thanks!
