Thread: Publish 7 Update for the FWG5, Scatter Pistol, and Launcher Pistol

Yeah... TH along with the rest of the "developers" are cowards. They just hit and run. Why not just lock these posts if your going to run away?

That's 14 professions you admit you have no first hand experience using when you factor in CH. What exactly do you have experience with in the game, running around killing things with various weapons?

Can't have a gun if it kills in the game.. nooo wouldn't want that.

Hey lets make the AT-ST's for PvP ONLY.. it's only fair because since CH's can use Maulers as tanks.. rr-r-r-right...
If they want to make this game like the movie, lets look at a few things..
- If a wookie were to even slap you, you'd be flying across the room. But in SWG, a wookie can't do crap to you unless he's a TK.
- light sabers KILL in one shot. end of story.
- seems in the movies, one shot from a gun would take any trooper or rebel out, but in this game it takes loads because of the defense and dodge stack.
- AT-ST's were taken out with ease by the Ewoks.. yet in game if you tap an AT-ST, he shreds you with one blast.. not to mention the 55k + HAM.
can anyone else think of things that arent consistant with the movie?
Thunderheart, if I understand the changes correctly, the fix is still not adequate. Most of the people that have crates of pre-nerf weapons are weaponsmiths and almost every weaponsmith in existence puts the item stats in the name. If the weapons have their stats changed when pulled from a crate you now have a weapon that is unsellable ona vendor. Most customers only look at the name of the weapon to determine statsso if someone puts those weapons on a vendor, they're going to end up with confused and unhappy customers when they finally realize the named stats don't match the actual stats.
I don't think this solution is good for anyone and when you couple this with overall feeling of dread that most crafters have about the experimentation changes on Test Center, I think there's going to be a large number of unhappy players when Publish 7 goes live. I understand your position and responsibilities so I hopethat you, as the players advocate, can somehow intervene to ensure that these weapons have the original stats when pulled from a crate.
