I will be the one to rip this open, after all the DEVs openedup this and now its time.


WHERE IS MY ZABRAK ARMOR?


I do not give a crap about its stats, I am SICK and TIRED of seeing the same composite on everyone, the SAME ubese, the SAME everything.


YOU opened up the door with the wookie armor and you HAD to know this was coming.


How about Twi'lek armor, or Bothan.


Maybe Rodian?


Don't they all deserve something of their own?


Don't you DEVs get tired of looking at screenshot after screenshot, where you have gone through such lengths to allow character customizing (better than any game ive played) but as soon as the armor goes on....everyone looks pretty much the same.


Chitin is crap, Mabari is crap, Padded is bugged to hell, tantel is bugged to hell, faction you have to be overt (which i think is retarded, you would see more of it if you would take that away.


It isnt like people do not use the clone cheat or the overt / covert glitch to wear it at times anyway.


Are you trying to tell me that no other race has armor? Well let me point you to that nice book of art that I paid 30 extra dollars for with SWG (along with my shades *rolls eyes*) and show you the Zabrak armor in there , ugly as it is.


Give us more choices, I do not care if it is the exact same armor stats as what is out there, just make different versions.

Clothing and armor attachment-Loot idea



Remove them from spawning in the bat cave disperse them to drop from mobs.


Kill x mob % chance of attachment drop based on lvl of creature so that newbs can go out kill a few low lvl mobs and get some +1


attachments for their armor .


Higher the mob better the attachment exclude attachment drops from kryat since they already have good drops "pearls".


This would promote exploring and limit most camping which is what happens now.


We need more diversity to the looting process atm


My idea isnt perfect but hope it will be implemented in some shape. thx .

Nerf Buffs

Every other post is the same,

With buffs and brandy I can solo anything in the game make some harder mobs.

So and so dungeon is too easy I can so it with good buffs and brandy.

Armor is too powerful, with good buffs the drawbacks of armor are a joke.

Missions pay out too much, if i'm fully buffed I can solo rancors for 35K a time, the only time I group is so I can get the harder missions.


Buffs are too powerful

+2000 health, action or mind might not be too powerful on its own but + 2000 to the secondary stats is ludicrous HAM costs for specials becomes practically 0 and regen rates become so high that you don’t need a medic at all.

A simple (and effective) nerf would be to remove all buffing of secondary stats and let both Musician and dancers buff mind.

If these buffs and armor fail, who cares? The death penalty is a joke.

need filters on the mission terminals. filter direction and animals to hunt. i spend 8 - 13 mins looking for the missions i wanted on tatooine yesterday.

I dont mean to sound like a broken record but i agree with the angry reby (Xyber_Hex) we need more armor i dont think every species needs there own cause that'll gte lame really fast but i do hink we need to have some variety. one idea that i had was adding some CLONE ARMOR personally i think that would be really kewl. also we need some more weaponns with differnt forms of damage because how can we take advantage of mobs vunrabilitys when all the weapons now do is flame energy or kenetic. i have yet to see a weapon that does cold damage other then the cryo nade which only a commando can use.

I only have one thing to be said...


What about giving people badges for killing Jedi. I mean it is a pretty big deal when a person kills a jedi. They want everyone to know about it and want to brag about it, so why not just give people badges for killing jedi. It was a big deal in the movies so the devs should make it a big deal in the game.


P.S. Also a nice concept would be if the devs fixed the barrels since they're bugged.

"Useless" would be my first choice as a name suggestion.


of course at this point there is no reason to revamp anything. SOE should just shut the game off.

I can still sell pets, though I happen to be in a town where there are a number of CH left. Coronet use to be a zoo with more than 50% of the spamers selling animals. Now you don't see a one out there.


The problem is, something people are missing, is that harvesters got a hug boost. Everyone is on all the planets, so SWGCraft.com is kept up to date. So when there is a shift of great resources everyone mines the hell out of it. This means armor is amazing, weapons are top notch and doctors can buff for 2500 a pop. Not only that, but people can buy enough armor and weapons due to huge supply and lots of money from 25k missions that they can get good slices on everything.


CH was popular when an animal was the only thing that could tank. Now people with the uber templates, full comp and buffs are by far better tanks and they dish out unreal damage. No pet can complete with that. So while CH got nerfed, everything else got far far better.


The bugs are huge. They make pets annoying to work with. Speeders are huge too. Even the fast cat skins don't keep up fast enough to make them worthwhile. In the end, their power is weak and their usability sucks. Therefore they go unused and CH is something to drop, not pick up.


Only the diehard CHs are left. Those that really love animals keep them. The problem is those that really love animals will not delete their pets for anything, so they don't buy new ones. Pet stims sell well and I noticed vitality packs sell well. Still if you make a really nice pet in a popular skin, those will sell well.


The Solution to the very weak CHs can be fixed by: 1) Zero wait time to call pets. This helps with the pet following and getting lost problems and have persisted for nearly a year now, ie the programers can kill this bug, so do a functional work around. Having to wait is not a work around. 2) Release the hounds on BE pets. No upper dna sampling level for BEs. This will allow BEs to make good CL70 pets. No upper limits for resists. A AR1, 100% Kin pet goes a long way to bridging the gap between CHs and other combat classes. CHs will still be underpowered with such a pet, so don't worry. 3) Mounts need huge improvements to be made useful. Either allow specials to be usable from a mount, maybe have the mount slow down when this happens, or have the mounts move at a rate similar to speeders. That would be a substainable rate, not a gallop rate, so they can compete.


As it is right now CH is a underpowered, over nerf class that everyone else caught up too and surpased while CH was still being nerfed. This is partly why DEs don't want the DH class. CH has been made too weak. Another unused, weak class riddled with bugs when there are more powerful, quicker and easier to use combat classes doesn't help DEs and has made pet making BEs more difficult with things only going down hill. Yes I can sell pets for now, but only if they are top notch and only because I have a small but loyal market. Those few people quit, and I am out of my pet business. No, I don't care to go looking for my cheese elsewhere, if that referrence is understood, as having to go looking else where is just one of those WoW things. Though that is elsewhere I suppose.CH needs to be competitive once again.






seems to me that you dont want to play SWG, something where creatures are the more prominent feature are your style, like EQ or WOW. this my friend is Star Wars, futuristic and full of technology, the creature handlers should be few and far between. although jedi should be more rare. anyway...

so is the idea of sagas.


and to add to the proposal of sagas, how about "instanced" planets or citieswhere the sagas take place. this game needs to get bigger.

Please remember that we Rangers were promised lovin' a long time ago and were shelved. now that you are back to profession re-vamps...can ya take another look at us? that's all we want. if you look at the profession and say that it is a perfect profession and equal to all others in skill points used. we will stop complaining. we will also all quit. i am sure you will not find it up to par alongside other professions though. thank you.

Could the devs please take broken/erronous skill tapes out of the game?

I am talking about the ones that are in game but have no function. Like Droid Complexity, Droid Customization (adding these has no value and everyone will soon have customization tools anyways), Grenade Assembly (I think), things like2 handed melee evasion, 2 handed melee counterattack, etc. People who do not know these are bonked have been paying and losing lots of money needlessly!Thanks.
