Any hint for what else we should use the HTFB? A good surgical droid is better than the healing ability of our best camp (actually the camp works like a medcenter and as such negates the effects of a good droid), the stations are worse than those ppl have in their houses or droids, the 'repelling aggressive creatures' doesn't work ...

Thing is: "Master Ranger" is SP robbery, this occasion is just a good one to make ourselves heard for a change (If it wasn't for the "title" Master Ranger and the fact that I have nothing better to do with the SP at the moment I'd probably not be a "Master Ranger").
Btw.: Expect organics prices to skyrocket even more, less "novice scouts" means again even less supply, as if the current demand wasn't already way above what was supplied ... don't come and cry when "nabooian avian" doesn't have a going rate of 200 cpu but of 400 cpu in future.

I harvest resources for every kill, Trapping is useless once you get an elite profession, and I will admit that camps beyond the multiperson camp (cause it doesn't poof if you leave it and there is someone in it) are useless.
I still use the TN and the harvesting.
I agree camps need more uses but given the autostore bug, (nothing like haveing a non combat character have to walk 3000m through dath cause his ride poofed after he planted a harvester) you need the ability to call at least vehicles anywhere anytime.
There are many useless professions in this game, some form the begining (try being a DE or SL), Some made useless (CH), And some that got some needed fixes (Chef, BE, Carbineer) At the rate SOE is going maybe in 2 years this game will be ready to go gold, in the meantime this is the longest open-beta I have ever seen.
Actually Ranger was nearly useless before this change.
The only good thing was higher harvest rate and greater creature knowledge.
Traps (useless) bugged
Camps (nobody needs camps for healing, just heal up when you come back to town to get more missions)
Camoflage and additional mask scent are more like painting a big red bulls eye on yourself, I could be out with someone with just scout maskscent and 99 times out of a 100 it would be my maskscent/camo that broke and they aggro on me(while standing right next to the scout)
I was almost Master Ranger before I realized they were wasted skill points and got out of it entirely.

This isn't true for me.. yes I can take down the MOBs quite well, but its kinda nice to be able to toss a phec. dart and have the MOB dead before it ever gets in range to hit me once.
They also help when dealing with social MOBs.. as well as being able to take on lairs of MOBs without being buffed with minimal risk of damage to my oh so precious hide...![]()
