Fast Movement: Pointless...can call mount/vehicle anywhere and ride to destination, who needs to run?

Camping: Pointless...No one needs your camps.Playerscan: call there own mounts, Most player cities have superior crafting stations, and healing is too slow (can travel across galaxy, get healed, buffed, etc, and return faster than heal any significant wounds)

Harvesting: For all the bonuses to harvesting, A Master Ranger only gets a fractional amount more than a non-ranger character. (Gee, I got 67 hide, what did you get? 50!?!?!? Your not even a scout!)

Attacking: Bonuses to fighting critters...please. To be effective thhese bonuses should be on-par with combat classes (but to creatures only). A ranger should be a must have when dropping Rancor or even Krayt Dragons.

Rescue: Probably the most pointless skill. Oh no! My buds in trouble! Come attack me! I am so weak in combat I can't stand it!

Trapping: Marginal...pretty useful but the restriction of crafting is a bit much considering their relative ineffectiveness...Warcry is far superior and no one has to craft anything, lasts longer even. A master ranger traps nearly never work on a Krayt Dragon (if ever), but should a MAster Ranger be able to marginally effect a Krayt? Please...

Examing: Marginal. Useful I suppose, but unless you can fight, whats the point?

Tracking: Probably the defing skill of ranger. Marginal. It is cool, but shouldn't a ranger be able to choose a creature and then track it, even if one isn't in range? Think of survey...If I do track: Krayt Dragon while in Bestine....I should get a vague reference to Northeast 15km

Foraging: Marginal. Useful if your resource gathering, but isn't really enough to ever use often.

The ONLY Great skill is Maskscent/Camoflauge...very good and scales nicely with power...

Rangers need a huge burst to bring it in line with the other professions

I can agree with almost that entire statement exept for Camo. When they gave us Camo and told us it was good for creatures and npcs it was worth having, butsince we've been told that they never intended to give anyone the ability to Camo Vs. NPCs and
made it just a little better than maskscent Vs creatures. It's a waist of resourses when mask scent costs us nothing. So no being a Master Ranger is a total Waist of 140+ Skill points.

15 seconds seem to work fine for me, however the patch notes said that the store delay after combat was being reduced to 30 sec. however it still seems to be 60 sec. for me, anyone else found this?

TH,
4 days and counting. It seems a shame to start your own thread and never follow up on it. Why are you griefing CH's?

Did your vehicle/mount/pet/droid calling ability work properly?

Why if I use a camp to call my vehicle is there still a 15 second delay?

I thought they retained their original calling abilities? If I choose to continue to use a camp i shouldn't have to wait 15 seconds.

ATTN: DEVS. THERE IS NO POINT TO BEING A RANGER ANYMORE. AS SOON AS I MASTER IT, I AM DROPPING THEPROFESSION LIKE A BAD HABIT. PLZ TO FIX IT AND I MIGHT LEARN IT AGAIN, THX.

Tried calling both vehicles and mounts in the wilderness with no camp. Worked perfectly 15 seconds after i called them. Combat does what its supposed to and disrupts the timer. They still call instantly in camps. I pity all the rangers who still need camp experience though, i got mine with group hunts and now no-one needs a ranger camp to get the vehicles out.

Yup, I love this change. It reduced the usefulness of camps to about .03 on a scale of 1-10, but the game is more fun and realistic this way.

^yes because pulling huge vehicles and giant creatures out of your pocket is incredibly realistic. ::rolls eyes::

Very nice changes, but why not allow people to call pets while on a mount? That would be nice if that was allowed.

Can I laugh at all the people saying there is no reason to be a ranger anymore.
You used a Base camp to pull a pet/mount/vehicle? that seems to be a huge waste of resources.

And for all the people that didn't know
Camp restrictions were added, there was originally no restrictions to calling pets (mounts and vehicles didn't exist then). So this isan't an amazeing new idea that revolutionizes the game, they are giving us back something they took and added a nerf to it.

This is great i love this., I am almost a master scout and I still thanks its great, B/S i like useing the camp as a place to rest and heal up, But being able to pull my bike out after it auto stores (I hate that) is great,, this is the best thing i have seen add the game to date.
