Uhh....
What happened to galaxy transfer that was supposed to be with this patch?
It seems to be completely absent and nothing is being said about it.

It's a failure. I honestly don't understand why you post things like this. You don't listen to the players. I think your feedback threads are here just to give us something to do. TC 2 and 3 are proof of that. You ignored every important issue in the Jedi Punchlist. No, I don't mean hooded robes. The Jedi asked for defenses and powers. Not either or. You have succeeded in doing what no game before you could do. You have made Jedi unappealing. Before this patch, I was prepared to go through whatever professions and quests were required to get Jedi. Now, Ican't stand to log on. Your failure to create a viable Jedi system has removed the last desirable part of this game. Maybe, if one of you realizes this mistake and fixes this problem, you will make the game worth while. I doubt it. You do not and will not understand the Jedi.
"Melee attacks are something the Jedi should be wary of." -- Thunderheart
I had to read that several times to believe someone could say it. Don't tell me this will be fixed in the combat rebalance. Your history with patches is not very good. And don't tell me it would make Jedi too powerful. Jedi have yet to become powerful in this game. Besides, every other profession has had it once. Why not give the Jedi a turn? And, how do you know it will make Jedi too powerful if you refuse to test it? You have three test centers. Use one of them. Give the Defender collapse a shot. In other words, put up or shut up.
You failed the Jedi and the license in every way possible. Once again, I blame EverQuest. That universe was original and the programmers could do no wrong. At least, there were no inconsistencies. But this isn't your universe, and we know more about it than you. We know and understand the Jedi better than anyone on your team, at least anyone makingdecisions. You have put your pet theories ahead of this game at every turn. I refer here:
So far I haven't heard any good reasons why Jedi should be exempt from the economy (i.e. saber components are looted), not that my opinion is for or against, but in terms of presenting a solid argument to the devs we currently do not have one.
Using your most logical faculties, explain why you believe Lightsabers should or should not have a place in the economy.
UPDATE:
Point of Clarification: We need a solid argument to present, I have tried all the suggestions that Lightsabers should not be economically linked based on the movies and EU. That hasn't worked. That is why I stated "we currently do not have" a solid argument.

I don't care about your player based economy. Money is a means to an end in this game. I use it to buy resources and travel tickets. It is not a vital part of my gameplay. I am not here for your experiments in economics.
Every decision you make must satisfy four criteria: Canon material (Star Warsy-ness), Gameplay, Balance and your ownpersonal interpretation. If you meet the first three, I will accept the last. Your decisions, however, meet only the last over and over again. Crystal looting, melee blocking, the Jedi trees fit only your ideas, and your ideas fail. I don't want to wander through your pretty graphics randomly interacting with NPCs. I want to play a Star Wars game.
I don't care about lots, backpacks or blocking animation. I don't care about Bounty Hunters with more skill points. I don't care about a free ship for JTL. It's an ugly ship anyway. I care about Jedi that are Jedi. It's why I bought the game, it's why I play the game. When you teased me with Jedi that were cool, I could accept the holo-grinding. When you tease me with Jedi that are worthless, I will move on. I don't care that collapsing the Defender tree will make Jedi homogenous. At least they will be playable.
When you failed with the first system, I could forgive you. You couldn't playtest the Jedi before launch. When you failed with this system, you have no excuse. When you ignore your beta testers, only you are to blame.
I want two things. I want the Defender tree collapsed and Force Sensitive skills to apply to Jedi abilities. I can even accept crystal looting if you do. If you don't, well, Half-Life 2 is due out soon.
As Raph Koster once said:
The amount of whining players do is positively proportional to how much you pamper them.
Many players whine if they see any kind of bonus in it for them. It will simply be another way for them to achieve their goals. As an admin you hold the key to many of the goals that they have concerning the virtual environment you control. If you do not pamper the players and let them know that whining will not help them, the whining will subside.
In other words, ignore the players long enough and they'll go away.

Wow, so much negative feedback here. Not from me. I was ready to drop my account and quit before the Pub, now I'm all for my Jedi. I'm having 10x the fun I ever had pre-Publish 9, and I'm even semi-satified with the improved crystal drop rates, though lightsaber should still be completely out of the ecomony, in my opinion. The new system to seems excellent to me, even though it does also seem to follow the traditional SOE MMORPG archetypes. By all means it's not perfect, but at least now I can grind decent Jedi xp, I don't have to worry about over-camped crystal drop spots or paying 1 million cr+ for even a weak crystal, and I'm actually enjoying my Jedi, finally.
While I'm not a hardcore Star Wars fan, Jedi seems much more Jedi like with this Publish. Do I need to go get my violin for any flamers?

i know this isent fair to all but what they should Probabbly do is wait until they have all issues sorted out and do a Jedi Wipe and Implement all the stuff and put us all back to Initiate if you were a padawan....Padawan if you were Knight...Knight if you were Guardian....Guardian if you were master....in my opinion this might help...they can get all the fixes done now...IE the Cornet Bounty-Hunter bug for one...Bounty hunters love to camp cornet BH terminals and prey in The spaceport....its easy Nerfed kills for them...also the jedi robes can maybe change...i have an idea with the robes
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MAYBE MAKE IT SO ONLY OTHER JEDI CAN SEE YOU WEARING THE ROBES AND OTHERS SEE YOU WEARING A CLOAK WITH HOOD OR NORMAL CLOAK

i know this isent a really good reason for a wipe but you all must agree with me that there are MAJOR issuse that need to be sorted out...the XP loss for one...the old system seemed to work quite well with Tefs and i for one think it should go back to the old ways....but its your game....
(even though at times it sucks arse juices =/ )

THE LOSS OF XP ON DAETH IS INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for a very low jedi like my self and my husband to loss 200k xp on our very first death ever since the day we opened is just insane it took me 6 hours just to get the 166k negative my husbands first death caused!!!!!!! I believe that we should have some sort of death counter and get a free death a week or atlest start each death of one by balancing the loss better a gaurdian gets 200k xp loss and then someone who only has one tree of lightsaber losses 200k xp is insane, and if your not willing to give free deaths maybe try ok this week first death 10k 2 50k 3 100k or something to that effect, you are punishing very low level jedi the same as very high jedi and this is just not fare for us very low very weak jedi who die if a mokk looks at us funny!!~!!

Lightsabre-resists in PSGs:
I obtained a newly-made crate of psg's. The crate shows lightsabre resists. When I retrieved a psg fromt the crate it had lightsabre resists. But after I logged and logged back on, the lightsabre resist had disappeared.
This seems like the old 'shifting-stats' PSG bug all over again.

No character wipes for Jedi, thanks. Character wipes are like poorly thought out nerfs. A quick, very unsatisfactory and thoughtless solution to a problem. There is always a better solution.

There is an exploit issure where a jedi can run into a house when a bounty hunter is fighting him. The jedi can run into a private structure, while still in combat.
There was a time when people would place houses around Anchorhead and Bestine and do the same thing. They would kill rebels or imperials doing missions, then run into their houses if they were in trouble. This is fixed now with faction members not being able to enter structures when they have a TEF.
This new issue needs to be fixed. Jedi do not get the TEF and they can freely run into their houses. They can heal, regenerate force, call their friends to help, logout, or /quit.
Please give Jedi some kind of Jedi/BH TEF so they can not do this.
Thanks in Advance.

So, for the poor suckers caught in transition....it said you could continue to master professions under the old method to unlock force sensitivity opening until patch 10, but that they can't be used until patch 10. Does that mean you get a message when you unlock, or do you have to master everything to make sure? It seems like a message would be good, I don't want to do armor/weaponsmith if I don't have to.
