we need some sort of group TEF poll, see how many people like it. cuz right now, coverts are once again able to sneak up to overts and attack em without the covert knowing ahead fo the attack (same reason the revenge TEF was removed)

Please fix Bounty Hunter Tracking Droids:


- speeds are much slower the higher you train in Investigation and slowest at master - please change the "-" to a "+" in the programming - this has been around since before release


- get Jedi missions names fixedand droid tracking working, finally

OK, I'll bite. Is there something we as players can do to help the problem with constant vendor crashes on Bria? I logged in again today and still couldn't get my vendor to intialize. Is it a storage problem? I have about 30 items on my vendor. Do I need to delete my old vendor and start a new one? He's been around a few months.

Great idea with this forum !


I have a few bugs that really gets to me over time ..


1. Mounting and and climbing Vehicles.. Rather funny !!


Also for some reason you seem to have to open the radial twice to make it show


current affairs!!



2. Moving things to the Ingredient hopper in factories ..


You cant see the actual things moved untill you CLOSE the hopper .



3. Falling of chairs .. ( i could utter something unpleasant here but i wont .. )



ThingsI would like !



1. Better customized housing or Architect stuff in general. The addition of more coloring


Especially outer housing shells .. Like a Black or red house ...Also inner redesign changes


like room design .. All in all more colors and more custom stuff..



2. Up and Down move option . PLEASE .. there are people out here that decorates houses .


And using stairs for elevation can become very tiresome


A horisontal rotate would be nice and fun too but up and down first please ..



3. allright i wanna talk in caps now.. but ok..


Clothing for Wookiees PLEASE .. Boots too ..


Im still in the stuff i got when i started out .. its getting to me..



4. House items and Station hoppers.


Well could these please be seperated again .. I know what it would mean .. but wouldnt


it be possible to only have 4 operational stations in a house or what about making it skill specific.


like when you gain vendor skills you gain extra optionsyou could get more operation out of your


Crafting stations including expanding the item storage or something ??


Also a Radial dial "open hopper" would be greatly apreciated

fix BH droid speed if we cant track jedi at least allow us to find are npc bountys quicker i see little reason to take BH missions now ive masterd when i can make triple the income doing faction missions in less time.


fix seeker droid problem were they do not dissaper after use hence infinit seekers.


Lower carbine HAM costs the wepon kills me more then i kill stuff with it.


push my luck a lil but for god sake sort out a better forum of planet travel i spend more time w8ting on shuttles then anything else in this game.


fix that annoying bug were you slide across the floor and warp elsewere.


vehicals stop them auto storing and fix the bug were if you try to store them it says out of range or can not see object.

Bounty Hunters need some love. Correction, they need a lot of love:



  • Droids tracking Jedi and Droid speeds. Let BH's do their job... hunt Jedi.

  • Toss out the fake Jedi names, and the innocent 4 letter named players who wind up on BH Terminals.

  • BH, asa Master is a cupcake. Give him some teeth so there's incentive to master.

  • HAMS HAMS HAMS for the Carbine line.

Combat Medics:



  • Fix the LOS & Z-axis problem in GCW bases that is generating all the hate towards Combat Medics.

Carbineers:



  • HAMS are utterly rediculous.... still. Going on 6 months.

  • Fix their specials. Many still don't do as advertised.

Jedi:



  • Fix their broken skills. I don't want any excuses when they get killed.

  • Lose therandomly generated names on the BH Terminalsthat waste time.

  • Also, the random names are occasionaly matching REAL player names that aren't Jedi... this will get interesting.

General:



  • Fix the stacking of defense mods. These folks are yourREAL Jedi Mastersright now.

For the Dev Team to actually think through a design concept before you 'patchwork' it into the game....just one ....just one aspect of this game to be thought through would be nice before the 5 year anniverary.


Ya'll are missing things a 5 yr old can see...and its not doing the morale of the community any good.


biggest potential game in mmo history and you hire noob coders....noob db admins.......The bloody design lead gets promoted when his freakin design is so incomplete and broke he should have been fired!!

Good to see a discussion thread to address player issues. We were worried that communication would only be one-way after the forum changes.


1. Please address the targeting system. At least give us a hotkey to target the thing that's attacking us. I've hated the current implementation since day 1, or actually since day 2.


2. /tellpet occasionally stops working for no apparent reason after I've been playing for awhile. Mostly after the last publish.I don't like to spam commands, so all my macros use tellpet. The middle of a fight is a bad time to discover that it's stopped working. Usually causes me to take a quick nap.

Hmmm going thru this thread the common things is bugs that players have found in the game and largely have not been acknowledge by the developers.


My suggestions is to have a bug thread as we had for a publish last fall. In the thread which only SOE can post it would list all the current know bugs and their status. By doing this it would reduce a lot of the noice in the forums. As bug get reported either by CSR, bug report or however it is come to the developers attention it would be listed. I think this would reduce noise both on the forum and also at the CSR level too.

Good day,


It's been some time now that "The art of combat" has been available for members to read , absorbe , love and maybe hate. I"m one of the members who have done the reading and absorbing, to a certain extent. One topic that has got my attention is the idea of the weapon specialization within the weapon trees. My point of view is comming from the Bounty hunter profession, as you well know bh's(bounty hunters) have very few skill points to take up any other professions which might aid them in to act effectively in the profession. When a bh does take up another weapon skill they don't have ability to get the most out of the secondary profession chosen to augment their skill effectively.


My question is:


Has the develoment team taken any consideration into removing the scout tree in any way from our template. This due to the fact that the scout profession isnot needed what so ever to complete any of the required tasks that a bh will require to do.


A sub point to this is stated in the SWG manual, words to the effect of, even Boba Fett can stich up his own wounds. Another mention is about being a bh is that we are supposed to be the most feared people in the galaxy. As it stands right now we are nothing more then mission termial gurus who spend money traveling from planet to planet.


Please look at this idea, it's valid and many bh's feel the same way. It's understandable that the large amount of tasks your programers have to deal with is maring their ability to adress simple solutions, but I would hope that my suggestion does not fall to blind eyes.
