to me it would have made much more sense to give rebels at-st's (or equivalent) rather then hinder imperials. it is much more fun when those get involved. I remember the first time AH got ambushed by 4 at-st's.....man, us Rebels were dead all over the place....THE ABSOLUTE BEST TIME I HAVE EVER HAD IN THIS GAME (which has gotten quite boring lately, and I just came back from a 2 month break and its only my first day back)!!!!



Only a few more months (I believe 4-5 months)until World of Warcraft and SWG can say goodbye to this subscriber....unless they make some serious changes (which I doubt)....and when Lineage 2 comes out (I believe a month or two), I will check it out, if it is better then SWG (which it probably will be), I am gone then!!!!

Hmph, my first post, I can't believe this. I don't have an At-St because of the high FP cost and after seeing whats happened to them, what's the point? There is no way I am going to spend all of those FP on this nerfed piece of **edit**! Either lower the FP cost BIG TIME or make them better like they should be! Seriously 1 rebel taking down an At-St....with a flamethrower!?! When At-At gets put out, I wonder what the FP will be, I'm guessing about 200k, or am I to low? Imperial needs a weapon to annihilate the rebels! Think about it, in the movies the rebels were at a ratio of about 1 to 10000 imperials! It's nothing like that in this game.... why nerf our main defense?

I agree. DEVS, GIVE US BACK OUR AT-ST!!! I don't care if you give rebels an equivelant tank. I want mine back. I have lost 2 AT-ST's. One was by 2 rebels, one TKA and one commando. I was incapped until the commando was able to melt it. Then a group of 5 rebels ambushed me in Bestine while I had it out. It seems that the AT-ST is probably the most worthless faction pet. I would have bought ST's and Dark Troopers if I knew then what I know now abou the AT-ST. All faction pets are worthless for that matter.

All I want to know is what happens when they finally come out with an AT-AT? Would yoube able topunch that to death too?


Devs, in all fairness in love and war letsusesome common sense here.When there isan AT-ST coming for you,there better be some kind of Heavy weapons laying around becuase this TANK is not some flesh eating creaturelooking for dinner.

i got one for you devs. i dont know if this has been mentioned, but i am sick and tired of going to pvp and i get doubled teamed, so i run to a building and go inside to use the walls as a defense. Anyway while im inside they send in the at-st after me. I dont know but if you cant drive a vehicle inside a building why should you be able to bring the at-st inside. This issue really needs to be looked into. Thank you and have a nice day.

Also, when I say they should be vehicles, I mean that it would be a vehicle but you could attack etc. (not like speeders etc)

I find it funny that there is still crying about this from Imperials. Ok... so two people can take down an AT-ST. Big Deal! It takes 1 person to take out a heavy block turret. Let's look at this... a swordsman with a power hammer smacking away at a concrete structure with a huge gun on top of it. Three hits and the thing is gone.


So... while the two players are smacking away at your AT-ST, what are you doing? Tell you what... learn a real fighting profession if you are doing PvP and assist your AT-ST. I guarentee you that an AT-ST along with master TKA / master Doctor owner will mop the floor against a Master Commando and Master TKA.


If you are a master merchant / master tailor and are crying because you are letting your AT-ST get destroyed by two elite combat professions where you cannot support it... you deserve to lose it. Take your crying somewhere else.


And for the record... I fully support this change and think it is a step in the right direction. Way to go, Dev's!!!

Oh... and if you think 1 person shouldn't be able to take down an AT-ST... then why was Luke (not yet a Jedi Knight) able to take down an AT-AT on his own???

The AT-ST is ruined and should be removed from the game until fixed. They need to be not able to be affected by anything but pure dmg. No DoTs at all. When someone has an AT-ST it should strike fear into peoples hearts like a couple rancors or kimogilas should.



**Rebels outnumber the Imperials in a 2:1 ratio. How is this a rebellion and how does this make for a good PvP situation?**

OMG, AT-STs are fine. If you are worried about loosing it, defend it. Stop crying about every little change.. you have an AT-ST. Heaven forbid you try to fight like a man and not rely on your pets.

Hey the Imps want their /Win button and the AT-ST was just that. I mean all they do is type "a" and sit back and watch their AT-ST go to town on someone. And if someone, heaven forbid, gets some damage to the poor little pet, then the owner wil step in and do something. I say good because the Rebels have ZERO for a factional pet and you guys cry over something like this? Get a grip people.

now i didnt read all 43 pages of whining replies to this change, but i did notice one thing.. all you imperials whine about is the defense of the at-st, look at its firepower.. 1 shot bang the unsuspecting rebel is dead, maybe 2-3 if they're buffed.. get over yourselves you sniveling weenies

NPC AT-STs are way to weak, My Wookie Novice Riflemen with a few rancors was able to take one down solo.


I am allmost master so I will go back in a few weeks and see if I can take one down in 10 seconds.


It took a about 20 min or so but, I have to agree that the current at-st are a complete Nuff,


I would not want to risk one in pvp when the are so easy to take out, I would say there only good for raising the mission level, lol



incresase armor to heavy and raise the resist to 80-100% and only let it be effected by Blast


Also improve there AI, sped them up and increase range to 70 or 80meters and give there attack a cone effect.


Also changing the T-21 form medium to light would balance play out a little.



These shold be very nasty or a least require Ewoks to take them down

AT-STs are very powerful tools for the empire. They shouldn't be player controlled. The only thing players should control is other NPC people(Stormtroopers or Rebel commandos). There, all better. All balanced. Problems solved.


Leave the heavy weaponry to the AI/NPCs.
