Ares thinkin on his toes, nice.. take medium sized mechs away from imps, i like that.. maybe the whiners will shush..


and as for reducing the t-21's armor penetration, that is just dumb seeing as how only master rifleman are certified to use the t-21.. they need something a little more powerful than a laser rifle which is only light-armor piercing..

This topic is beyond ridiculous. Going through reading all the Imperials rant on about it is honestly making me laugh. Currently, even with the AT-ST changes in, they are still the most powerful pet in the game...period...by far.


As a Master Creature Handler, I can send in my level 65 Rancor against one of those things and it cuts through the Rancor like paper. So lower the defenses a little bit but raise the HAM to 60K...and all I hear is whining??? Sure, maybe a Master Commando with some good heals can take one down....but you know what? Not everyone is a Master Commando.


Just because an Imperial earns 9000 faction points does not automatically earn him the right to own the most powerful thing in the game, and that is exactly what it sounds like you all want the AT-ST to be.


An AT-ST is currently, and always has been, extremely feared by the common Rebel. All I hear is non-stop whining about them being useless in PVP. Well maybe you just aren't that good at using it or something. Anything that hits for 2000 quite fast and has 60000HAM surely is good for something even if it had no resists at all. So you forked over 9K FP for an AT-ST...big deal. 9K FP is pretty easy to get if you are a halfway decent player, and the reward in my opinion, is quite nice.


Even your regular ole Stormtrooper pet is far superior to the strongest Rebel faction pet they can obtain. And then you also get the AT-ST. So go ahead, I am in a laughing mood, cry away.

Bravo! Stave, excellent remarks. I'd like to add more, but you just nailed it on the head. All I gotta say is, rebels WISH they had this sort of "problem" or "unfairness".

I would just like to say.... That it is so nice that my thoughts on these AT-ST changes are being looked at and it only took...


A little over ONE year... At this rate... Imperial Hats will be fixed before I collect social security!!

rebels should not get an equivilent to the atst... they should get something that is about 1/2-2/3 its power, cause the rebels on land sucked

Too strong? AT-ST's, if anything, are weak. About a monthago I dropped by a small battlefield (sm.Reb station attacked by ST's and an AT-ST). I spectated and I saw a Rebel player show up, wipe out the ST's. This is while the AT-ST was shooting at him. As a covert, novice marksman in Bone Armor,I couldn't do much but spectate. When most of the ST's were killed off, he whipped out his Gaffi Stick, wailed on the AT-ST for 30 seconds, and it was dead! I can see a Commando with Rocket Launchers killing off an AT-ST, but a stick!

Just how much average XP's and FP's do Rebels get when they kill one, out of curiousity?

Forgot to describe the battlefield a bit more. It's SE on Corellia and I can't remember the WP since I haven't visited it in a while. The Rebel station had 3 small laser turrets/dishes and defended by Reb.Commandos and Officers.

I just wish i could save the FP to get one...20k fp is a lot....and when are bettlefields comming back anyway?
